Could be different here in Australia but that screen was a steeeeal at that price. Looked mid century, wouldn't flinch to see that priced at $400+ in someone's booth.
Don't feel anxiety about not finding anything! I appreciate just looking at what's in stores around the country and, also, we all have different tastes, so it's sure that someone watching your vid will see something THEY like :)

If only you had posted this last week 🫣.On Wednesday, I went to a car boot sale (I’m in England). A man there had several huge tubs of unsorted brass. I had a rummage through, found and purchased what I now know is the brass flower stem of the ash trays…for £6. BUT spotted and had in my hand a petal (maybe there were more) in the bottom of the tub. I didn’t think it belonged to the flower AND LEFT IT (THEM) BEHIND….I’m mortified!!!!!
I’m going back again to the Wednesday boot sale hoping to find the same man with his tubs of brass. Wish me luck!🙏

@@AllPutTogether we’ve been back twice and the man selling the brass wasn’t there! 😕! But we’ll keep trying! Failing that we can buy spare petals on line… but they aren’t cheap! 😵💫
The dog-painted horse is from the series Trail of Painted Ponies. It is called “Dog and Pony Show” and worth about $75.

Have you ever heard the saying, “It’s a real dog and pony show!” Maybe that’s what the horse with the dogs represents!!! Someone’s sense of humour!!! I love it!!! 🐶 🐴

I think you hit the nail on the head ( as they say ) !!! It took me a second glance at the horse, to notice the horse its self, has the markings an coloring of a Doberman Pincher. ( or other dogs like a Rottweiler, etc. ). :~)

The desk pen holder is from Iran I believe, it is called Khatam marquerety. Made with wood and little pieces of brass I think. So pretty!
And that stunning black floral hand lacquered napkin or envelope holder she passed up was Russian/Eastern European - I was drooling; it was so cheap! Rats!!!
I totally regret not getting it! Sometimes I just get so silly and leave cheap stuff behind. lol

I know - others have said I needed the lamp too! I just get so annoyed storing them because they are so large!
Honestly I sometimes am a little frustrated with shopping videos because I see a bunch of great stuff that people just aren't looking at. I like yours because you have great, unique style.

Put twine in the lidded wood container. Dog is perhaps a boxer. That leather hippo had awfully sharp fang teeth. I think the dangling hamburger is a bird toy, just a guess. You should have picked up the pomegranate letter holder for a grab bag.
Great idea about the twine. I, too, loved the pomegranate item.

I usually do a what sold on my vlog videos (I just posted one day). Most items I buy for under $10, so that can give you a good idea of my margins.

$30 bucks for the Lamp was a steal because Original shade, HTF! selling my lamps for $300 or more.
For whatever reason, I have such a mental block about lamps. I just hate to sell them haha.
@@AllPutTogether Honestly, I am having a melt down on a lamp I have now. 20 Lb lamp.
My dad collected antiques and I grew up in Philadelphia. He had lamps that were gorgeous. i will probably get to that point of having a mental block... once I ship this monster!

Pier One is a good seller on certain items. Most items I've seen start around $30 and can go into the hundreds. Pottery Barn I don't see a lot of, but had a friend pick up a stuffed animal and it sold for $55😮🤷. You cracked me up with the hamburger. Liked the brass animals, but that lotus flower was fabulous!

I'm already picking up Pier 1 type items all the time and they sell. Those 3 matching leaves coordinate perfectly with the paintings on your gallery wall behind you. Definitely your colors. One could be added to that wall among the paintings.
I've heard a couple RUclipsrs mention this. Theoretically, I guess we oughta buy now before it goes high ... i just don't have a lot of storage space...😢

Over the moon for the brass animals!!! I can brag a tiny bit...found small brass bell with a teddy bear on top...did the Bonami Trick for the first time!!! He turned out fantastic!!! Thanks for the tip!!! Will be cleaning all my brass finds now!!!💞💞🙃💞💞

To be honest I’m in Chicago suburbs and prices in goodwill and other same type of stores are very high lately and that large brass candlestick would be around $15

It was interesting to see the things you passed up, the wooden bowl with lid, the pen set from Iran and that fabulous basket you felt was to large. As kind as pier 1 has been closed i think it's safe to sell those pieces, a new generation is coming along that might not be familiar with it.
I do regret the basket. It was pretty cool. :(
