A lot of times the soapstone animal carvings are African-made...Kenyan, I think. That would make sense with a hippo as the subject matter, but I'm not 100% sure. Best guess though.

You can slow down the playback speed on RUclips videos if you prefer an adjustment. Same with podcasts. You can slow them down or speed them up depending on your prefered listening habits. I'm sure Andi's just excited to share all her fun finds! But you can listen in 3/4 speed if you want. That might suit you better.
I've found her voice very grating on my nerves but finally turned the sound way down so it is bearable. It may be the mic she uses but I don't think she has reflected on how important her speech habits are to those listening. Some of it is generational speech habits like drawing out the words, ending with a question, using gutteral, hoarse sounds, etc.
