This is one of the most helpful videos I've seen, thank you for making this. Edit: this video changed my life, I just played a little while ago and my gameplay improved dramatically. I already had fundamentals, combos, match up knowledge, etc. But I never really learned how to approach. On a Discord server someone told me I played to aggressively and it kept getting me punished. Then at my first big tournament, I was told I was too defensive with Falco against Ness. Because I was lost on how to improve I started losing passion for the game. After seeing this video, my passion came back as I just improved. When I finally have a disposable income, I would like to donate to you or something. You're videos are always really helpful, fun, and explained well. I always improve after watching your videos. Just thank you
Thanks for this video BannaBoy. As a Sonic main, approaching is something I should easily be able to do, but I used to believe that my options were limited, but thanks to this video, I learned otherwise. Please keep up the good work.
I like this video because it's informative, but more importantly, its got that good Pokemon Black/White music, and I'm a man of culture if I do say so myself.
Great video keep up the content! I’m a very aggressive player and I don’t have a whole lot of fun playing “smart” lol, but I know sometimes you have to if you want to win. My lack of patience gets me bodied a lot (mainly because of campy players. I just don’t find it fun camping and I don’t see how anyone would, but if they’re desperate for a win I suppose it’s their best option lmao)
As Mewtwo, I love playing on the corner and baiting them to come to me. It works at all levels, people don't like to avoid/shield/parry Shadow balls. They end up grabbed and yeeted to the blast zone.
Thanks for the video, this gives me a more solid game-plan in my flowchart. I've been too apprehensive about burning my double jump. I never considered the fact that I could use it to gather information against some campy opponents.
Wow, I had no idea you lived in Greenville, NC. I do too! I’ve been trying to get into smash ultimate since it came out. Your videos are really awesome bro, keep grinding!
Once you condition the opponents to spotdodge after your tomahawk grabs, then you commit Luigi by empty hopping and winning by doing absolutely nothing and punishing spotdodge.
The tomahawk works ecspesially well with Shulk. Since landing aerials are a big part of his neutral, his combos, and jumping is a big part of his disadvantage.
I literally started playing project diva the other day, after never having any interest in it. Couldn't really figure out why it suddenly appealed to me... and then I watched another of his videos and remembered
I always forget the shield button exists. I never really played against other people and didn't bother with online matches until smash 4 so I never really consider when or how to shield because it never felt necessary against AI
if you've ever played against a level 9 cpu you know the optimal strategy is to airdodge directly into your opponent
