A trip to India8. "Indiana Jones" in India: Unveiling the Secrets of the Ellora Caves!

On the afternoon of the sixth day of our eight-day trip to India, we visited the Ellora Caves, a World Heritage Site. There are 34 caves here, built between the 5th and 10th centuries, with Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain caves arranged in three areas. The Kailasanatha temple in Cave 16 looks like it was assembled out of rock, but it was actually carved out of a huge rock over a period of 100 years. Looking at these huge temples, it is hard to believe that they are "sculptures" carved by human hands. This place, lined with many such caves, was like the world of the movie "Indiana Jones".
