Oyster Hut in Noto: Reopening after closure due to Noto earthquake

This time, I went to Nakajima-machi, Nanao, Ishikawa Prefecture, the the production area of Noto oysters.
Nanao was severely damaged by the Noto earthquake that occurred in Noto peninsula on January 1, 2024, but after seeing the news that an oyster restaurant in Nakajima-machi had reopened for business, I went there to try grilled oysters. I also visited a Noto oyster store and was shown the oyster farming operation.

中島でカキの養殖が盛んだということは最近まで知らず、実際に見せてもらって大変面白かったです。陸に上げてまた海に戻すといった労力がかかる作業だと知り驚きました😅
