      Josh Klinghoffer who kept the band in tact after John's departure.

    Preach Flea!!!! I've lost my step son and my nephew to the opioid crisis. How'd they get started??? Doctors. When my step son tried to get clean, he went to the doctor. Got methadone. He wanted off. The doctor didn't ween him off, he just made the dose so low my step son went into withdrawal. That's when he went to the streets. Sadly, SOME doctors and pain clinics are in it for the money and getting patients clean is a loss of income. Be aware of what they give you and stop before it starts. Overdoses don't discriminate and we're all at risk. Doctors create addicts every day.

    and I remember walking from 5pm till 1am daily along side the ports in my area listing to nothing but this song and it was really therapeutic I can honestly say that this song has healing powers

    I think Kiedis was super jelous of Mike Patton. Patton is more diverse and honestly more talented. Ultimately though, there never had to be a problem. Anthony caused that problem. They could have just been buddies from the get go, and sold out arenas together. I know RHCP did fine, but the collabs would have been awesome.

It just doesn’t sit right with me knowing it regardless, especially as I have a daughter who is that age. John Frusciante is THE guitarist for RCHP. He was with the band for all their most iconic songs and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out why. Think about how Scar Tissue, Otherside, Californication, and Under the Bridge would sound without John’s opening licks. Sure the other guitarists like Navarro and Josh can play just as well but they aren’t as creative as John and it shows. BSSM, Californication, and Otherside are their best albums. Guess who was with RCHP when those albums were written.

    • @mike48931
      @mike48931 3 года назад

      And in my opinion, RCHP wouldn’t have achieved the kind of success they’ve had without John. They would’ve been a mediocre alt rock band instead of the decade defining band that they became.

    Doctors in America have absolutely contributed to the ''opioid-crisis'', while @ the same time, the Nation was (supposedly) "fighting the war on drugs". Absolutely Ridiculous, doesn't even begin to summarize the entire situation.

    Omg I was so scared when this flashed up in my recommendations lol I thought one of them had died! You should’ve titled this video “A Brief History of the Red Hot Chili Peppers” not “Tragic Details of the Red Hot Chili Peppers”. Yes, the band’s history is pretty tragic but it’s old news. They’re doing fine now and John’s rejoined the band! If anything we should be looking forward to the future of the Chilis instead of dwelling on the past 👍

    Why not "The Tragic History of the RHCP"?
