I love the metal songs playing in these levels, so I was stoked when I first saw this giant bowser face.
Then...The fight was over before it started. Really wish they just extended the conveyor belt and made it more of an actual challenge, presentation wise it's REALLY cool looking :x

Don’t think it was meant to be seen as a boss fight at all, but rather an obstacle.
yall im pretty sure this is just a replacement for the usual flagpole lol. just a cooler way to present the end of the level. not supposed to be a boss fight

This game is ridiculous in terms of difficulty. It has some of the easiest and hardest platforming ever for a Mario game. And it seems all over the place. Love the game but I do have some issues with it.
Yeah I had a similar reaction. Thought that there would be multiple phases where I had to reach the button but nope. Fights over

It was so disappointing to see a lack of original and challenging bosses in this game. They’d better fix that in the next 2D Mario, idk why they have such a hard time when they figured it out way back in 2007 with Mario Galaxy and even in Nsmb ds having the best bosses out of any 2d Mario. And Nsmb Wii had the best final boss. Also like look at any other 2D platformer, and you'll see incredible bosses that build upon what was thrown at u in the beginning of the level. It's really not that hard.
I’m pretty sure this is just an obstacle summoned by Kamek to slow you down.
