      @WolfmansBone thanks man, I’ve watched his gumroad tutorial, but a lot is missing from this entire workflow, like the retopology, rigging, posing, adding accessories, attaching the accessories to the rig etc. And nothing beats the complete workflow. I’ll watch the other guy thanks 🙏

      @WolfmansBone thanks for the list, it's great to have a good starting point.
      the downside of just searching RUclips is that there's a lot of reeeeally bad ones and it can be hard to know which is which until you know what it is that you were hoping the video would explain and at that point you've spent 6hrs watching junk.

    • @oronbz
      @oronbz 3 года назад

      @WolfmansBone Wow man thanks a lot for that thorough and detailed information, I'm more of a structured content person so I'm trying to tackle CGCookie learning flows which seems to be structured upon each other and have good teachers, but yeah I've farmed lots of grant abbit tuts as well, he's an amazing teacher! And I've scattered around youtube for the last decade I think and you're right we're truly gifted to live in such a wonderful time where everything is available and most of it is free, but with overflow of content It's a bit hard to find those hidden gems to not waste your time.
      Good luck man! And thank you so much!

      Thanks man. I only recently released the anatomy course, i focused on that first because anatomy is vital for character creation, stylized or otherwise. The sculpting for beginner course is focused on the sculpting tools in Blender, this is the reason there isn't things like topology or otherwise.
      As for a full character course, it is definitely something i plan to create, just not right away, i am still refining and improving a lot of methods!

    Been watching these a lot as I have been relearning how to sculpt. Was in Zbrush around 2008, did quite a lot of sculpting and hardbody modeling in maya. When I got into the industry I sort of slipped into lighting/comp, Look-Dev and pipeline; my skillset has evolved around that to this day. So I've been trying to get myself back into sculpting while learning blender. While I know the most important rules of "reference, reference, reference!", operating the tools has been the biggest hurdle; making things shape the way I want them to has been far more difficult than knowing what its supposed to look like for me thus far.
    I'll keep going through your video's and practicing, hopefully I can catch back up.

    This is a nice piece of work. Love the model. My only criticism of it is the arm cannon. It looks a bit strange to me but that be because I’ve been replaying the Prime trilogy. The issue I have with it is that it doesn’t really blend into the main model itself as it is more cylindrical and not as spherical or as curved as the rest of the model. That and the blending at the end towards where her forearm meets the cannon. I might have suggested a divot or in the spot where the cannon is meeting the rest of her to make it look as though the cannon is given a full range of motion.
