Clear and to the point - excellent stuff! Looking forward to more Digitakt videos 😀
Thanks! I will make some more :)
Great example of how powerful this Magic Box is. Thanks muchly!
Totally!
Come on :D !
this machine is powerful by it's sequencing ability , not by the tricky workaround to make chords ... what a pain in the butt to just make one ... XD
Biut helpful trick for those who miss a synth
@@sebastopol8933 You're either too slow or just too lazy lol
awesome tutorial- clearly explained, thank you.
Simple when you know how - superb tip!
Nice clear explanation. Will try on my DT. Please do more like this. 😁
No problem! Thank you!

Awesome to hear that!
I'm an 808th visitor. I demand a reward !
Your reward will be paid in full!
I think this demand was unreasonable.
Great video, very helpfull !!
Glad to hear it! Thanks!
Sounds just fine to me!
I sure do agree! haha!
@@EZBOT_ I mean the digital filters are quite underrated. They sound really rich and squelchy without that brittleness often found in digital filters. Of course this should be no surprise, since Elektron have been making awesome digital filters since at least the octatrack.
@@robertsyrett1992 OT filter is super squelchy!
Digitac?
Digitook
It's fun to play around and try out different things with the DT. But I'd rather just sample 3-4 chords from a polysynth and be done with it :)
This is true but if you don't have a poly synth this is very helpful
@@EZBOT_ Absolutely. And it is fun to use it in unconventional ways. But it wouldn't take many chords before I'd dig up a poly :D
@@Dougie- I am with you there my friend!
Too much time to put in!!!!
I believe it's called parallel chords and not transposition because you're keeping the same note spacing.
Thanks for checking out the video! I am having trouble remembering if that is correct or not or if we are both right because I know that transposing means to move a collection of notes by a constant interval. If you move a sampled chord by a semi-tone it will transpose the whole chord by a semitone. Note for note only a semi-tone, and that is transposition. Parallel chords are usually used in relationship to the key they are in right? Like CEG is parallel to FAC. Been a while since theory class that's for sure! haha :) Anyway, I appreciate you making discussion!
EZBOT ah now I'm questioning myself! Hah. I know with this type of sample manipulation if you go up in notes it doesn't stay in key you started with because you're not adjusting major or minor. Regardless it's a timeless sound that is awesome and simple to do. Video was to the point which is great. Some additional ideas are applying LFO in varying amounts to each slot to give it a bit of detune movement. Looking forward to more ideas. 😄

wouldn't it be better just to connect a MIDI keyboard?
A millium awesomelators
There should just be a chord generator in this thing.
yeah, that would be awesome
Can you not play a chord with the chromatic keys? I guess not, thinking about it each track is basically a voice. Shame it can't do voice stealing like the DN and allow chords on one track.
My mom works at elektron and she gave me a digitakt
That is awesome!
