I just learned that there actually is such a thing as a Psychiatric Service Dog. Wanted to share that with everyone.
Thanks for all the great info 💝
Nicole Your the Best Love your channel! U R fantastic 😊
This is AWESOME!!! I’ve got a question 🙋🏼♀️ if I wanted to speak with you directly regarding Medicaid & benefits would that be possible? Not so much the blanket coverage but more about my specific situation & the route(s) that I could possibly take bc right now I’m pretty much stuck in limbo…..got the title “Medicaid” but after that it gets about as clear as mud lol with all your knowledge I thought you might could help point me in the direction to go. Which your advice would just be casual info & I would NOT hold you or low income relief liable in ANY FORM, as it is would just possible avenues for me to try. If it’s something that works out great, if not that’s ok too I’d just need to find another route. Please let me know if this is possible, to speak with you for a few minutes because as mentioned above I’m in limbo & watching so many benefits pass me by……& if anything I just want to know if I’m just stuck or if there’s something I can do to better my situation regarding Medicaid & the additional benefits that most receive from it.
Hi. We can help with questions here but we just don't have enough time for personal calls and emails. Here's some info that can hopefully help: lowincomerelief.com/?s=medicaid - Cat

I have mobility issues and I need a service dog for balance and I also have chronic knee pain. My doctor already wrote a note saying I can have a service dog, but the cost to get one trained is so much since I live in Alabama how do I qualify for a service animal in Alabama to get one free and already trained?
Do you have anything for Alabama?
Hi. Here's all the info we have: lowincomerelief.com/how-to-get-a-service-dog/ - Cat
I have mobility issues and chronic knee pain. A doctor already wrote a letter that I can get a service dog, but everybody wants too much and I’m in the state of Alabama due to chronic knee pain. I have balancing issues. Do you know anyone in Alabama that would help me get a free service dog I can afford to take care of it. I just can’t afford to pay the fees to get it trained?
our dog trained herself when i fall she comes to me and makes her body rigid so i can get up. i would love to have her registered as a service dog unfortunately we dont have the funds for that. is there any help for that or help with et care because we recently had deduction of funds and cannot afford her vet any more. this owuld help us in the long run because we woukd be abe to deduct on the dhhs application if she were service eligable. thank you so much for all you do to help us, it is so much appreicated

@@LowIncomeRelief thank you 🙏
I hope these people who give these dogs check on them after they assign them to a person cause I know people who do not care for the dog they have now. This one person showed us a picture of a dog they are getting, and it is beautiful now, but know the newness will stop, and then dog will be in the way…So unfair to the animals.
Can i get a free support kitty
Pretty much all dogs are emotional support dogs. 🐾
That’s generally true. The difference is that when you are eligible for an emotional support animal you generally are able to have a pet even if the apartment complex you live in doesn’t permit them. The apartment complex can dictate the size of the animal & could possibly charge a pet fee I think. At least that’s my understanding.
@@peekaboo7424 Yes, that sounds about right! Thank you!
The Canine Companions requires you to be a U.S. Veteran. 😢
No it does not.
That is why I own a cat.
if you are low income you should NOT even have a pet. you need a minimum $500/year for routine vet care, many years will be over $1000. A major illness or injury can be over 10K....and you need to have insurance. used to be about $40/month but has gone up a lot. it will offset a lot of vet bills, but vet care/insurance is still expensive.
Yes, and this is why I foster. It hurts like hell when they leave me and I take about a month to recover. But when I do, I get another to love on, because being without hurts too.
But service dogs are not considered “pets” in a way, they are working dogs that provide a specific tasks that help people to keep their independence. Places that don’t allow pets/dogs have to allow service dogs in as part of ADA. When the dog can no longer preform its trained tasks the dog is then retired and more often than not, depending on the organization , someone else has to adopt it. Also when the dog is out in public wearing a hardness with a vest people/children really shouldn’t approach the dog as they might distract them from doing their job helping the person who relies on them.
@@kerriwolfton3195NO IT IS NOT REHOMED WHEN RETIRED MOST OF THE TIME. THAT IS ANIMAL ABUSE> SDs ARE STILL LIVING BEINGS AND ARE TRAUMATIZED BEING SENT TO LIVE WITH STRANGERS LATE IN LIFE. no one should approach ANY dog without the owners permission and SDs don't need a vest/harness
I have low income and my dog is very well taken care of. I feed him very good food and I don't give him vaccines because I don't believe in them. I take better care of him than I do myself. I don't care if you're poor or not that doesn't mean you don't have the ability to take good care of an animal. I am not saying that everyone does but neither do people with money. This was just a very big judgment on your part in my opinion. You don't know anybody's life but your own and you probably should just mind your own business. We should have the right to love an animal because they theu love you unconditionally and might actually help your life. If you are really worried about people being poor having animals maybe you should address your government because they're the most corrupt people on the planet and they send billions of dollars to other countries before they even help their own people. That seems to be a bit of a bigger problem.
My sentiments EXACTLY!!@@criticalthinker72
