I have a glycine sub and it is my most accurate watch usually running 1-3 SPD. My only complaint is the lume on mine. It has the dots which probably plays a role.

    Glycine are wonderful watches
I own 10. They are just great and very well made , very modestly priced for what they are having great history for the brand

I think they are very underrated. Sounds like you have a nice collection!

Propiedad de una empresa norteamericana, con sede en Holanda , y con descuentos bastante pronunciados, lo más seguro es que sean sólo un poquito más suizos que asiáticos, el punto justo
para que se puedan vender como Swiss Made …

Not sure how old you are or how long you've been into watches but I remember when these were selling around 1000.00 brand new along with Oris

9mm crown on a 10.5mm case... luckily not the other way around, but close enough! 😂 Overall though it's on the large side, in all dimensions, still good looking (has some vintage hints i'd say), well constructed and tool's (ha!) specs.
Thans for the review Jason, be well mate.
PS Why oh why did you have to say the hour hand looks like _______ when it's not a fockin _______???? Cyrcle, lollipop, round with a party hat, something else... not ___________. Btw, you know which ________ all these are refer, it's not the auto brand!

    • @JustWatches1

Yes, I guess I shouldn't use that word for the hand, since it doesn't have the defining feature :P

Got one with a blue dial yesterday. Its looking good so far. I did not like the leather strap much, quality seems good but too thick. Probably I will put in a nato.

This watch should look great on a NATO.

MSRP of $1,000, price at Costco $300? Did someone from Invicta Marketing join Glycine? Nice looking watch, btw, but they should have ditched the date. Also, 38 hours of power reserve makes me wish it were a purely manual wind watch.

    • @JustWatches1
      @JustWatches1  2 года назад

Yes, I think that might be an influence of Invicta, but I'm not sure. Pretty silly to do it unfortunately.

I have not been able to find one under $500 in a while- they had them online at a few different places a couple months ago for $350-$400

    • @JustWatches1

@@francisharkins01 I just searched for them and noticed this. They used to be all over Jomashop and now I don't see them. I wonder if the older ones are all gone now. Hopefully, the new ones (especially the 39) start to flow to the grey market.

@@JustWatches1 yeah I think the 39mm is new enough- but GL0259 and GL0261 are the ones I passed up on like 2 months ago thinking I could pick them up later- they were everywhere then bam- gone

It seems like these recently dried up, they were available a few months ago and now I can't find them :( Glycine is coming out with a bunch of new models, so I don't think these are in production anymore.

Are watches with numbers as indicies and with date plus day watches for old folks? Design wise…?

    • @JustWatches1

Butterfly band clip is lack of micro adjust. The 39mm and 42mm models changed that.
