The West Monroe high school teacher is the latest arrest in a string of female teachers who've been accused of sex crimes involving students since November. It's easy to see why. In their mind, they have modern culture on their side. Years of feminism has brain washed women into thinking that the only predators are men and that everything women do is angelic and misunderstood. Metoo is slowly trickling down to the very roosters that made the calling, and it's delicious to see from the sidelines.
Women can't help themselves nowadays they feel the need to put out to everybody.
I had a divorced school teacher that lived near me when I was in Jr High and we did things together. This was almost 60 years ago. She taught in a different town and I mowed her lawn and cleared the snow from her driveway. The only thing between now and then is social media.
It boggles my mind people willingly exchange communications that are essentially the modern version of a signed handwritten letter and expect to get away with it, which leads me to wonder just how many actually do get away with it
It is strange that these "couples" get busted from the emails and text messages. Wonder how many are abstaining from the digital trail. My guess is very few get found out.
Because nowadays people don't write letters anymore and the current generations cannot conceive of communication that does not involve a phone or a computer. Bad for the culture, good for law enforcement.
If a grown up person has a relation with a teen then his or her ability to think rationally doesn't exist in the first place

There was a female teacher from Baton Rouge, Louisiana who invited young girls from the softball team to her house for a drinking party. She violated one girl. She resigned from the school and got another job in the next parish over. Yes, she did it again. Nothing happened to her because she was the daughter of a very prominent judge. She ended up only getting a 2 year probation 😡😡

When I feel bad for not letting my kids have social media, these headlines remind me I’m right.
She was my teacher last year and the other kid involved was in my class. It is surreal to think how all of this was happening while we had her and none of us ever expected it.
She was the type of teacher who was popular among all the students because she taught 3 different classes and everyone loved her. Her class was always so laid back and fun but realizing this, all those good memories are permanently tainted now.

I'm just going to say, I know most people at 16 are still kids but ill speak for myself, when i was 16 i was a grown man. I had my own appartment, full time job, started college, had a son on the way, sleeping with older women. Most people that were around me were older then me. Im not going to lie and say i was a victim or anything. They women i was with wanted me and i wanted them. And they were MUCH older. But i have very good memories with them. I was GROWN at 16. Paying bills, full time job, taking care of my family. My mom did threaten to call the cops on this 40 year old woman i was with though lol. But i think it's because the teachers are close to the same age.. 22, 23, 26, 28, 30. They like the same music and other things. When I was 16 my sons mother was 21. I was 15 in 8th grade, my teacher was 24 and SUPER hot. I always hit on her and she would try not to flurt back but she always did. She invited me to her house once. My mom loved her and thought she was the BEST. And she WAS! great teacher and I still wish I went over when she invited me. I did go out with her when I was 19 and we had a good time but she had a boyfriend and ended up marrying him 😢 happy for her though.

I’ve had to avoid some teachers when I was in freshmen year, that was 2019, it was very common for the girls to say we felt uncomfortable and didn’t want to be alone with some male teachers, sometimes even female teachers. We also knew what teacher was hooking up with who, and I personally knew a avid college student tutor who was linking up with a English teacher, that was married 💀. Even some sub teachers were creeps, I remember one having both his hands on one of my friends shoulders when he would talk in lectures, it made her uncomfortable. I spoke up when he was talking, in front of the class, and I told him to get his hands off her shoulders, he was clearly rubbing them and wouldn’t stop. I called him a creep and called him out in class, every single student agreed he was being weird, even the boys.
Depends on the school or peeps then cause we had a teacher who was very handsy like that hands on shoulders hugs etc he was our drama teacher but no one ever felt uncomfortable probably cause he wasn't creepy but thats the difference between creepy and not is attractiveness of said person.

I agree. My 2 kiddos in HS have several teachers who goof off too much with these kids and try to be “young and hip.” I definitely think there is a psychological thing to this. Men who would have “mid-life crisis” often went out for a younger model. I wonder if women (who mature faster than men) are doing something similar in an attempt to feel “young again.” Good grief. 🥴

But in the modern West, many people have been brought up to be coddled, treated like fragile beings who are "traumatized" by _any_ criticism or attempt to hold them responsible and accountable for bad behaviour (both boys _and_ girls). There is no more social stigma about factual adults behaving (dressing, talking, etc.) like adolescents, so many Westerners are never forced to grow out of the adolescent mindset.

We had a Spanish teacher who was also the dance team "coach" who allll the students knew was messing around with the football and baseball students and then some of the male teachers. It was confirmed multiple times and it finally ended when her husband came to the high school and made her resign on the spot and they moved out of state that same week.
That husband should have filed divorce papers. I guess, maybe they shared children and he didn’t want to get graped by the courts and only see them a couple days a month, as was common in the past

Regarding whether it happened in our era ... I graduated in 1983 and was in a high school a Capella choir with a very charismatic teacher. He had us call him by his initials rather than "Mr. Last Name." In my senior year, he suddenly was let go. It turned out that he had a relationship with a female student. Once she turned 18, she came out with him publicly. I cannot remember if they got married, but that was the rumor in the choir. He was not charged because at that point she was 18 and had graduated. So yes, I think this kind of thing has happened a lot, especially in our day before the invention of the Internet.
Looking back, we were all devastated -- not because of the welfare of the girl, but because we thought this guy hung the moon in the sky and should not have been fired. The teenage mind is still childlike. We had no idea or conception about how bad that was. We took it out on this guy's replacement, and I still regret that to this day.
Similar thing happened with a band instructor and female student at my school. I actually had a crush on her, but she chose him over me! The school basically just told them to keep it secret, but they were still seen touching and kissing at school events. Incidentally they’re still married today (last I checked). Weird and gross but I guess in this rare case it “worked out”??? SMH it’s hard to know what to say about it

At the age of 17/18 my friends and i used to go to a club on a certain night where older ladies frequented ( got in free or something) and we referred to that as grab a granny night .
