I agree that Kel n' Rich are priceless ... and I agree. I became a KISS fan with Detroit Rock City. I still listen to their songs. My favorite album is Dynasty and favorite song is Beth.
I have heard this song for a while and I never paid attention to the drums and Eric Carr was amazing he played some very Bonham hits and Genes bass line was pretty cool
This is a great Kiss song....it will pump you up and make you feel invincible....this song is rocking....melt your face rock right there...thanks for the reaction...
It took 42 years but I finally get to see them. The first time the band I was in had a gig the same night so we got to deal with the overflow of folks that couldn't make the show. The second time recently before the world ended, my "friend" and I got turned around going over the mountain pass in February. Sept 24 I finally get to see them.
Kel's facial expressions are truly priceless. It's still a really great video 38 years on. Colorful lights, precise choreography and brilliant special effects. One of my favorite music vids of all time...because it was ahead of its time.
#KISS Baby Driver Silver Spring, MD. Fell in love with this song as a young rocker. Still love KISS all these years later. And really, you can't go wrong with any of KISS' early music catalog.
it's a great vid guys....it's wild...Kiss was the basic loud, balls to the wall rock and roll to ever come out of america. Thank you guys for the video!
Couldn't have said it better myself Kel! I've been a fan of Kiss for 42 years and still going strong. They were my heroes growing up and still are! Please check out other videos of them. You will not be disappointed. Keep rocking guys.
Kel nailed what Kiss is and what being a Kiss fan is all about! She gets it! And yes, Eric Carr (seen in this video) replaced the original Kiss drummer Peter Criss in 1981, passed away of cancer in 1991.
MsStecarl actually, Eric Carr had gotten his Cancer diagnosis during the production of The Revenge CD and was unavailable to record the drum parts of most of the songs on that album, Eric Singer filled in for him to record the drum tracks on Revenge and after Eric Carr's death would replace Eric Carr as the drummer for Kiss Eric Carr may have appeared in the music video for "God gave Rock and Roll to you" but he didn't play the drums for the song when they were originally recording it Gene Simmons actually talked about this on a video that I remembered seeing on RUclips
Great review, I have been listening to KISS since I was 5 years old (1975) and still love them to this day... I actually wore a KISS T-shirt this past weekend !! 👍🏻😁
Love your channel. Kiss puts on a hell of a concert. Love your reaction to seeing them play for the first time. Watch a live performance like "god of thunder" or "rock and roll all night". Rock on guys!
This song made me a drummer after it came out. It was the first I could play from start to finish even though I had no kit until a few months later. KISS got me heavily into music at 7-8 years old in '77-8. They literally changed my life. I've read the original drum track for this song was slowed down to get the tempo we have on the recording. Eric always played it faster, live.
HELL YEAH!....I am a KISS ARMY GERMANY Member for now 40 Years.....must i say more ?.....need BLACK DIAMOND in the longest Live Version available.....or the amazing full Orchestra Concert they filmed in Australia....MORE !!!
Haven't seen this video in years. So glad it didn't get blocked. I used to have all kiss albums on cassette including a few bootleg tapes and every one of their solo albums. I had them all in a carrying case but it got stolen when I moved years ago. Great song . A classic #skid row slave to the grind Fernie British Columbia canada ☺
Hey Kel,Loved your reaction, your facial expressions... priceless..Rich, Just Loved your perpetual comecized (Probably Not A Valid Word) look on your face throughout it all... I'd been a KISS fan from 6 yrs old in'78...fell away from them for a while after ACE was gone... but at 47 I still have them seared in my Soul!
What I always got from the song is to ignore bullies or any who want to make you feel less than who you really are... I fell in love with this band when I saw them on the Paul Lynne Halloween Special back in the 70s. Gordon
KISS, the love of my life, they brought me into metal, thx so much Paul, Gene, Ace, Peter and Eric !!! Im a proud member of the KISS Army Germany. for almost 40 Years
ohhhh yahhhhh, you picked the very best video by kiss, imho, their best video...........one, if not, my all time favorite kiss songs. i had the cassette, creatures of the night, saw them at reunion arena when they toured on this album, great stuff. "ROCK ON I WANNA BE PRESIDENT"!!!!! I LUV IT!!
'78-'80 member of the KISS Army here. I saw them touring with Rush...you will NEVER be upset about the money you spend for a concert. They always give you all they have.
Been a KISS fan for 40 years!!! Seen them with every member they had! If you get the chance go to the concert! You won't be disappointed. I seen them in March. For the 10th time and the best I've seen them! You have to check out a song w/o make-up next!
"I LOVE IT LOUD", a BRILLIANT song, with THAT "AWESOME BIG DRUM SOUND"!!! That song and the "Creatures Of The Night" cd was just phenomenal!!! I also loved Eric Carr's drum Solo from the 1984 Animalize tour (on RUclips). It reminds me very much of his drumming in the "I Love It Loud" clip. Just like to add that I will never forget meeting Eric Carr and Ace Frehley in Adelaide in 1980. (I Also met Bruce Kulick 2x and Eric Singer 2x a few years ago here in Adelaide too!!! ) Was at the Kiss concert there and Eric had a little spare time. He was walking past fans on his way to the stage and stopped and talked to a group of us!!! Eric was a down-to-earth guy and OMG, he was so funny, cracking a lot of jokes, he had us all laughing!!! He was also incredibly sweet, caring, thoughtful and very well-mannered and he was always smiling the day I met him!!!. He called us by one name "Dude". That was the name he called us fans that day!!! OMG, I MISS THE GUY SO MUCH!!! Eric certainly did not deserve that dreaded disease he got - Cancer!!! He deserved to have a life which should have been much better!!! R.I.P Eric!!! YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!! I love her reaction (she jumped) when Eric's drums started and yeah, I did the same when I 1st heard the song too!!! Also I have to say too that Eric Carr played bass guitar on some of the songs on the Creatures Of The Night cd. Eric Carr definitely plays bass guitar on the song "I Still Love You" and "Little Caesar" from the "Hot In The Shade" cd!!! He was so multi-talented. He was even the lead singer/drummer in a couple of bands before Kiss. Leanne. xxx
Thanks Kel. This is what it is to be a KISS Army member. Persistence. More KISS please. All American Man next, Rocket Ride etc etc. lol Any song but ballads lol
Please see them if you can. The only way to understand the fandom is by seeing them live. You may even become members of the KISS Army yourselves, you never know! I just saw them in Boston a few weeks ago, and this tour is complete Bombast. You'll see why all arena acts owe something to the "Hottest Band in the World". BTW, LOVE the Channel!
G'day guys drunk uncle again. Kel really needs to see some live stuff. #kiss i was made for loving you with the Melbourne symphony orchestra. I was lucky enough to be there. Also check out the bass solo with god of thunder from the same show.
Want to hear a lovely song that's way out of their norm - Beth. Was the song that actually got them the highest they ever made it on the top 100. Enjoy. 🎶
Hope you do get a chance to see KISS when they come your way. They are saying this is the last tour, and I believe 'em (given their various ages and other factors with the band). My wife and I saw them at the end of March and the show was absolutely epic! Seen 'em a few times before, but this last show was the best.
Kel, at one point it looked like your eyes were about to bulge out of your head and you didn't blink for like 30 seconds it seemed like. :) Great reaction!! Yes, Eric Carr the drummer here passed away of heart cancer in 1991. RIP to a truly awesome drummer and great guy!
YOU WANTED THE BEST YOU GOT THE BEST THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD... KISS!!!! yes Eric Carr was the second drummer for KISS and he died in 91. and yes if you go to a KISS concert face paint is very encouraged
Gene Simmons comparing to Yabba the Hut?....hahahaha...but you must see the full Live Show Effects of Gene with Fire and Blood Spitting...."God of Thunder" is my all time Fave!
Kel if you are into classical check out KISSymphony with the Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra. But you need to watch the entire KISS concert. They go from acoustic to rocking out with the Symphony. David Campbell did a hell of a job arranging and conducting the concert.
#Kiss Creatures of the Night and # I Still Love You ... both show both sides of the Kiss spectrum ... also #I Was Made for Loving You ... controversial but it's in the tracks of my rock /metal journey what I call disco Kiss lol ... hi both ... great reaction from Kel ... that was priceless :-D ... btw I'm from the UK
It was great to see Kels' facial expressions when seeing Kiss, which were all exactly appropriate (Hard to believe you've never seen them before, but, what a treat) Kiss is 100% what Kel said, " When people stand up for who they are, and they don't give a SHIT about what anybody else says, thinks or does about it" Welcome to the KISS Army!
it's amazing that after forty years, KISS still gets that kind of reaction when people see them rocking for the first time
We need Kell's reaction to watching this song live in Rio 1983 HD ;)
Kel's reaction was priceless! 😂 Almost as priceless as how uncomfortable Rich looked trying to sit quietly in the background! 😂
She’s sexy
I agree that Kel n' Rich are priceless ... and I agree.
I became a KISS fan with Detroit Rock City. I still listen to their songs. My favorite album is Dynasty and favorite song is Beth.

I've always loved this song for it drums. Hard and loud.
That whole Creatures of the Night album is CRAZY for drums. The sound they captured was so heavy and thundering and powerful.
He was so good..
He always looks like the happiest kid in the world. I get to beat these drums with KISS!
KISS was my first concert, loved them every since !! N
Favorite Kiss song.
This is a great Kiss song....it will pump you up and make you feel invincible....this song is rocking....melt your face rock right there...thanks for the reaction...

The list of bands and musicians that said Kiss is one of their biggest influences is absolutely endless

final song eric carr recorded with kiss and did the video for was God Gave Rock And Roll to u II.
eric singer did the rest of that album.
@@MsStecarl True story.

@@MsStecarl Eric Singer is drumming on God gave rock & roll to you ll. Eric Car was physically unable to. He only did the video.
@Darknight Flyer KISS took Rush on their first American tour..
Eric Carr on drums 🥁 he was fantastic

My very first concert in 10th grade. KISS. I started early. The opening act was John "Cougar" Mellencamp (he still went by that name in the 70s).
