LIES. This criminal drove his car intentionally into a crowd, trying to elicit a defensive reaction from the people who were being threatened by his deadly weapon: a motor vehicle. The murder victim was LEGALLY carrying per Texas law and merely knocked on his window -- he did not point his weapon at this murderer. How Abbot & his cronies and mouthpieces can lie and lie and lie is appalling to psychologically normal Americans. That's why a jury of his peers convicted him of murder in the first place. In Texas, you need to take responsibility for a crime before the parole board will recommend a pardon. Clearly the governor did this to get around that legal requirement.
A jury, who was presented all the evidence, decided that this was not a case of self-defense.
It’s pretty clear Abbott has done this for political reasons. It’s the same reason that he ships people who are in the US legally up to cities he don’t like without any warning. His shenanigans cost the state of Texas billions of dollars in lost revenue last year. He called many special sessions of the legislature, but still hasn’t done anything about the electrical distribution system in Texas.

If a single one of them were here legally, there would be leftist lawyers suing for kidnapping and false imprisonment. Since there has not been a single case filed, obviously none were in the country legally.
If you feel sad for the people being moved out, and you feel it is wrong, then you can report to the State Capitol. They will happily send 3-4 of these people to live in your house and allow you to cover their food and medical costs.

Let’s not allow people to carry rifles of this size and caliber if it’s going to be this much of an issue. If all you have to do is claim self defense, and put enough doubt on the matter of whether the rifle was aimed or not, then let’s not have them in public or even protests ever. Keep them at home or at the range. If in public, it stays in a case.
