    This is why you have to end well with your transcendent stars if you are an executive. Looks at the results over 20 years later. Top flight players are hesitant to play for the Bulls if they're not drafted there. They did it to MJ, Pippen, and Phil Jackson, what would they do to me? They ruined their relationship with the most marketable human being on earth, and now MJ is an owner for another team. Tragic.

    Thank you BJ Armstrong, for setting them straight. All the people out here don't understand a winner wants and desire to keep winning. He's the greatest basketball player of all times Michael Jordan. Is undefeated in finals with two threepeats, and 6 finals MVPs. No other players in his levels and class. They have tried with so many players that never matched or had his ability to win with the very least of players. A great leader, teammate, trainer, motivator and the greatest defender, offensive skills in one player that won and raised the bar so high that no other players have come close to reaching his levels of game play.

      They had a proven winning team and the league wasn't what it is today. If Scottie had the knowledge of todays players he would of left if he was getting paid his worth.
      Over 90% of those players finish their contract. Teams can drop a player without paying them the full amount they signed for when they have a better deal. So you are saying its okay for teams to do as they please but not players?
      Would you feel the same if your employer had control over you like that?

  • @affiliatestud

    Reinsdorf really did come off as the "good guy" but that was a fair point...he was overseeing everything, checking off on everything, but he gets to deflect everything on Krause...i hadn't really put that thought together before...
    For me, I loved these Bulls teams, hated that Jordan came back and played for the Wizards...it was kinda legendary the way the Bulls originally ended...they "could" have won another, of course...but the way it ended was epic, imo

    • @Matt-cr4vv
      @Matt-cr4vv Год назад

      He gets off way too easily because if he simply chose to step in at the start of brewing problems over letting them fester for months and months just to the point of collapse before taking action he could’ve snuffed out a lot of the dramatics. Simply coming down on Krause for openly courting Tim Floyd, committing long term to Phil before the annual game of chicken, or simply not being stubborn about Scottie’s deal are all easy things he could’ve done well ahead of time that would’ve lessened the drama considerably. Sure Krause often was a huge piece of those issues but the buck always stopped with Reinsdorf and he continuously allowed things to run into the ditch before he’d finally jump in to prevent disaster. And at the end he tried again after letting the issues flow for an entire season and finally was turned down. Imagine if he’d simply stepped up right away the final year and said that Krause was wrong and that the door was open for Phil as long as he wanted to be the coach.

    • @tangaraspeedgoda7436
      @tangaraspeedgoda7436 4 года назад +2

      @@dylanunderpar Aboslutely not but that's what the media try to make people believe.
      Jordan had his goat status WAY BEFORE his 6 rings...in fact he had it even before he ever won a ring.
      The truth is individually speaking, neither Kobe or Lebron are on his level.
      And let me tell you something man...if Jordan was in Kobe's situation or Lebron's situation, he would have had more titles than Bill Russel. Jordan really took a team at the bottom and carried that team to the top. Jordan won 6 rings but, only 6 times his team was a contender in his career.
      Kobe won 5 times but his team was a contender 14 times. Why? From 1997 to 2004, the Lakers are a contender, that's 8. And then from 2008 to 2013, the Lakers are a contender.
      Now Lebron's team was a contender in 2007. Then people talk about Lebron being 3-6 in the finals but they forget that in 2009 and 2010, the Cavs were the favorite to represent the east against the Lakers in the finals and they had the best record in the whole league 2 years in a row. I don't even thing it ever happened for a team to have the best record in the league 2 years in a row and not even make the finals. Anyway...
      So from 2009 to 2018, Lebron played on a contender team. So, that's 12 opportunities Lebron had in his career.
      So the point is, give Jordan the opportunities that Kobe and Lebron had in their career and Jordan ends up with more titles than Bill Russel himself.
      Yet championchips are only a tie breaker when 2 players are close. It makes sense to look at rings to seperate Kobe and Lebron for example because individually it's very tough to decide who's better (even though I think it's Kobe).
      But Jordan is something else...and there are other players better than Lebron or Kobe that are just not talked about because there are not as popular.
