Dirt and mud. That's on my boots also. I wear my boots where there is dirt and mud. Lug soles are a good idea for anyone who actually goes into dirt and mud. Studded soles are okay if you only walk in the city.
Excellent work on the boot. The boot in my opinion was in a good condition, just needed some heavy brushing and shine. I don’t like the new sole though, I don’t think it’s the best for the Diesel boot IMO.
Just saw another cobbler who did a video of a GS diesel boot resole. He showed that the boot has paper/synthetic material between the insole and the cork. Very disappointing. I was under the impression that GS didn’t use synthetic materials in their construction

Yea they were pretty filthy! You made them look brand new which is awesome! The customer will love it!
Your job is hard enough without having to remove all the caked on mud. Sheesh
The grand stone just aged so well. These are beautiful boots that can last quite some time.
