@@DodgeThatAttack Um yes you do Lol. I did. And I've done it quite a lot of times throughout the years. Most of the time it was 100-150 Ancient Debris. Never under 100 and never above 200. I left a sign at the entrance of every tunnel that I mined stating how long the tunnel is and how much ancient debris I got from it. All my tunnels are 10K blocks long and if not I always come back to finish them. But believe what you want I guess. You can try it if you want too. Mine 10K blocks at Y15 and see how much ancient debris you get at the end of it. I guarantee you get at least 1 stack but you'll most likely get over one stack. Not under. I should also mention that I mined all the gold and quartz I went by too and found extra Ancient Debris behind those blocks as well
I don't know if this is the same in Bedrock edition, but in Java, putting a block in between you and the bed will shield you from most of the damage. It does require that you build a slightly higher tunnel to put it in.
I tend to use tnt. But to avoid some of the lava issues I dig a long tunnel first and then blow the tnt up on the way back. This means you can look at the area after the explosion and just not deal with it if there is no debris.
I usually go at "0,13,0" and mine in every directions, then dig a hole each sides, every 10 blocks, then I am ready for bed mining. Afterwise, I can build some Ice roads, for fast traveling. I think not being able to stack beds is the biggest disadvantage.
Tbh, I find bed-mining to be very enjoyable - to each their own I guess. Also whenever you find some debris, I would recommend mining a bit around it to make sure you got the entire ore vein.
Yea, it's easy. Place a bed, put a block behind it, explode the bed, build a netherrack bridge over the hole to stay at Y=15 and avoid the fires, dig 5-6 blocks into opposing wall, rinse and repeat.
The beds are really great for mining. The tunnels created are great for ice highways for transportation. Once you have a creeper farm and a bunch of sand, a flying machine with tnt is much more satisfying to use and doesn't leave as big a mess
I use an add on called More TNT, I can use a single colossal TNT and destroys netherrack within a 50 block radius, leaving the ancient debris intact. Then I can use a throwable TNT to destroy and obtain the ancient debris without a diamond pickaxe. 😊 I play on the PS4 btw.
Thank you for this!!! I've been terrified of mining for ancient debris because I thought I had to use the bed explosion trick & it SCARES me!!! I don't even like accidently hitting a lava flow!
The BEST way to do it is to mine a long tunnel on a chunk border then fill it with tnt (or one block apart) you get the stuff from the mining and the tnt chain. This is best period. Not necessarily the cheapest but the most efficient. Mining on a chunk border might not be necessary but when the tnt goes off it will expose part of each chunk, which using common sense will possibly have more debris.
Yes, that's pretty much what the top All Advancements speedrunners do, although they leave a bigger gap between each TNT and ignite them one at a time, as they lay them.
I don’t like half of my screen constantly covered in fire. Also it eats through so much food so fast. I’ll still stick with beds though, but the fire is definitely a huge negative. Just turn brightness or gamma up.
@@The_mrbob Yea, because turning brightness / gamma up prevents ghasts from spawning :p You just bridge over the hole and avoid all fire. There's enough netherrack around to do that with.
I’m glad you said mining is still a valid way to do it. I find explosions so scary and hate dealing with them. Also (as you said) mining is just so much more fun to me because I can listen to audiobooks or toycat videos while I do it :) I’m sick of people judging me for not wanting to blow up my nether to look for ancient debris so thanks for not being one of those people. Explosions would need my full attention because I find them stressful. Plus XP is basically free and beds take up a lot of inventory space because they don’t stack. Also I hate automation in minecraft most of the time because it means I didn’t actually do the work for the thing if that makes any sense (plus redstone is mega confusing). In other words, mining is great for me (but if I’m ever exploding things in creative again sounds like end crystals are the way to go) Love your videos :)
Ancient debris spawns the most along chunk borders. Mine a 2x2 shaft, with a chunk border between the blocks. Definitely the fastest method. You can always backtrack with TNT along your tunnels to find more later, but I find tons without needing to waste time with explosives.
I find the best way to mine ancient debris is to cluster frack with about 4-6 TNT at a time down a tunnel just big enough for 1 player. Usually 15 or lower. Finds around a stack of ancient debris for 2 stacks of TNT
I just finished mining AD because of your video that it was going to change. I have two worlds so I did it in both. 1 armor set how I like it with different protection enchantments and one with only protection enchantments and one clean. A few swords and picks and every tool and weapon clean. Times two for my multiplayer game too so it was a lot haha. In the beginning it was very stressful but now I get more AD just because it’s chill to mine. And to think that the first two months of having this game I didn’t enter any cave because I was so scared of dying 😂 ( yesterday i was finally brave enough and slayed the dragon for the first time all by myself! And I didn’t even use any netherite items out of fear I would lose it 😂) Tomorrow I’m finally going to the end cities to get an elytra and I’m very excited about that. Love your videos, keep ‘em coming!
I personally mine y=15 along the border, and then explode a bed at another border so it's a chunk corner, I found this method is very good and I found ancient debris a lot of times
Wrong about the air exposure time with mining. Every 1 block mined exposes 4 other blocks to air (in a 1 wide, 2 tall tunnel), so you would need to mine 45 blocks to get 136 exposed to air. Love your videos, keep them coming 👍
I definitely do appreciate toycat. Yes, I have been doing a lot of ancient debris mining. I have a few worlds that I still need to get into and get that done. 2 sets of netherite armor in 2 of my worlds so far. Branch mining is less chaotic...
18:49 It's also worth mentioning that if you try to mine ancient debris with anything less than a diamond pickaxe, it won't work. I've had to run back and forth between dimensions so many times because I only had an iron pickaxe with me when I went looking for it.
I decided about a month ago to start a giant build project in the nether that included digging a 100 by 100 cylinder from the bedrock floor to the bedrock ceiling. Which now I realize was a terrible idea but I'm still working on it. I've got all the way from the roof down to 23 blocks down to go. So far I've filled 3 double chests with netherrack full shulker boxes, 2 shulker boxes with nethergold, 3 with netherquartz and 53 pieces of ancient debris. Some of the blocks have been lost as I have 2 shulker boxes full of wool in my bed blasting and used gold to make lots of boots to stop the piglins from attacking me. A lot of my time has been spent watching your older videos while slowly working away at this. Oh yes and I'm doing this all on my phone so digging is sometimes a bit janky.
If you're using the bed method, don't just place the bed after digging only 3 blocks, instead dig 6 blocks hole to the left and right and place the bed at the end of the hole, use shield to block any damage, with that method i can get a stack of ancient debris using only 3 shulker boxes full of beds, you can get a lot of wool by making a simple auto wool, you can build those as many as you want to get more wools but for me one is enough
Ancient debris also often generate not connected in anyway, so make sure to dig 3 block in every direction from the source ancient debris. I also have a ghast farm which gives me ~4K gunpowder an hour, so gunpowder isn’t an issue lol.
As far as bedrock edition goes, because there are no giant lava pockets, strip mining is my go to. If you have mending on your pick you won't ever run out of duribility thanks to the netherquartz, and you don't need to worry about resources at all. You also don't need to deal with fire everywhere. Might be just me but it seems to take less time to use a pick than get and use beds.
I found, when mining for ancient debris, that if I run into lava I will mine a block in front of me so I can get closer to the hole with little chance to catch on fire.
If you are able to set up a Creeper Farm for gunpowder, then the TNT method is by far the best. Less risk of taking any dmg, not as much fire as a bed exploding, and can chain explosives every 4th block of TNT placed, and can be activated with any redstone triggers from afar. I usually Dig in a straight line till I can't go any further. Then I dig out long tunnels left and right. skipping every 2 blocks and digging straight till i can't go any further. Placing TNT in every alley, and hoping your PC doesn't explode, Watch the fire works. Literally. I make a portal inside, grab a couple of fire resist potions, at least 10 empty buckets, and some scaffolds to reach the lava-fall. with such a wide open area, you can easily pick apart the Netherite, Gold ores, and Quartz as you see fit. If you are picky like me, you can plug up some lava holes as some netherite might be buried underneath that lava.

Tnt is the most efficient method from my experience. It chains ok if you space it out 2 blocks apart, dig a long tunnel at Y15 and then run back placing tnt then ignite when you get back to the start again. Creeper or ghast farms are pretty easy to set up, you just need a bunch of sand at that point. End crystals chain insanely well and will auto destruct for hundreds of blocks if spaced correctly(Y12 9 blocks apart) but the extra obsidian placement does make them a bit of a pain. But late game they are very satisfying to play around with. Beds work for sure, but Greg make so much mess and lots of fire causes lag on low end devices. So whilst they are fine to use early game to get your first couple of debris, I’d honestly rather strip mine for the stuff.
I find just mining long tunnels can be quite therapeutic. The only thing I would add is use a fortune 3 mending pick and mining any quartz you find which repairs your pick as you go and the bonus of getting plenty of quartz
If this was anyone else's video, I wouldn't have even entertained the thought that those first two Ancient Debris were legit, but since this is Funny Internet Cat Man, I am willingly falling for it!
Make a creeper farm a shuker of tnt gets about 4 stacks of debre which takes about an hour to get with a good farm. Beds are unstable and cannot be chained together. Edit end crystals are more expensive than both of them
I’m just putting this out there since I don’t see anyone else talk about it. There is another faster way to get ancient debris. If you have an elytra you can drink a fire resistance potion and fly around in lava lakes. And just grab it off the ground. It also helps if you use a resource pack to remove nether fog/lava fog but its not required
To be clear, you actually increase your chances of finding ancient debris by focusing your searches UNDER the lava ocean where there are the least blocks between the ocean and the ceiling. Ancient debris can't have air contact meaning that it must spawn either above the ceiling or under the lava ocean. Fire resistance potions are highly recommended because sometimes to need to take a warm dip. Pick chunks with huge chasms in between the ceiling and ocean. Note that you can see which biome you are in (in java) and if you are in a crimson forest Hoglins will spawn in your Mines. Oh and avoid basalt wastes because the blocks there are more blast resistant.
I strip mine with tnt. You dig a 2 tall tunnel then drop a stack of tnt on your way back to the start. Ignite a chain reaction, build a 1 block bridge at 15 to help avoid and clear lava. Then move over and do parallel tunnels and the tnt will connect the tunnels which lets you easily fly around later. I went crazy and made about a dozen full sets of netherite armor and tools.
So I think beds work best for short-term, quick grinding, but TNT works better as a long-term method as you can farm both creepers and sand and while yes the farms take effort to set up once you set them up it's as easy as afking the farms to get as many resources as you need, then just making a line of TNT and blowing it up in succession.
I mine 500 blocks straight, then back out with beds. And do that over and over and over. I did a stack of beds once and got a stack of ancient debris in return. That was my best haul ever. Found 2 nodes of 6 each which im fairly certain is the max amount per chunk.
For me, it has to be TNT. The primary readons for getting it once you have the capacities like a creeper farm and a large desert with a good shovel, you have as much as you want AND you can stack TNT to 64. You can chain TNT while runnung down hallways with a flint and steel. With beds, sure you can have sheep farms but the wool is manual and you cant obtain it super fast, as for end crystals, its gard to farm for ghasts and you still have to gather obsidian. TNT is the way to go.
I don't get why mining at 15 is best but then it's a good thing that blowing a bed or TNT gives you levels above and below that. Surely a 8x8x8 hole means that 3/4 of the blocks revealed to air are at suboptimal levels. If i mine a 2x1 tunnel, then each block forward reveals 6 blocks to the air and mines two blocks, all at the optimal level. Seems a lot more efficient than fiddling around with crafting beds or TNT. With an unbreaking, mending, efficiency pickaxe you just dig, seems pretty simple to me
I find explosions fun so when I go to make my mines I tend to make a 3x3 tunnel down at about y15 and do bed poke holes to the sides. Gives you a safe place from the fires and that's my favorite way to find ancient debris
Bed mining is actually really easy. Just place a block at your feet between you and the bed and you take like half a heart of damage. Also immediately look down and put out any fires and then check above for lava, and then continue
Well, you're counting blocks mined at 8:41 and counting total blocks destroyed with TNT right? But for every 2 blocks you mine, you can discover if ancient debris is in any of 8 blocks. The two you mined, the ceiling, the floor, and the four that make up the walls. So that would be only 27 blocks mined to get the some count. However if TNT were to create a 6x6x6 cavity, you count those 216 blocks but also count the floor, ceiling, and walls which are each 36, so you end up with double the blocks.
I go for the mining method, because I love the chilled way of playing Minecraft and it gives me more time to talk about more or less interesting stuff to my few viewers. ;)
The most effective method for was going to Y15/16 with an efficiency 2 diamond pick and mining in 2x2 tunnels along chunk borders, I found 20-ish super easily. Also if you have mending all the quartz and gold exp will fix it right up. only challenge is finding your way back but even that's not too bad if you set some landmarks
I'm not really into the bed mining thing. The explosions can just harm you, the fire is very annoying, even with fire resistance, the uneven terrain is a nuisance, ores fall into the fire and are destroyed and beds are not stackable, so you either have to make them over and over or go around with shulker boxer or whatever. You can expose lava pockets or underground caves with mobs (especially hoglins are annoying). If you have a ridiculous amount of ghast tears for some odd reason then I think end crystal mining can be preferable. TNT mining is not that good an idea, except if you have a bunch of TNT from desert temples and don't know what to do with them. Gun powder better be saved for rockets for your elytra. The benefit of good old tunnels is also you make an underground way to other locations at the same time, can expand that eventually in a nether hub. And meanwhile you get blackstone, gold and quartz and (of course) XP. Still be aware of lava pockets though. And with the particle effects you can see which biome you are under (so if you see dark blue you know you can hunt for ender pearls if you go up).
Mostly I'll dig in a straight line. Beds are messy, and I don't like wasting gunpowder on tnt. Plus, when you open-up large areas, it gives mobs room to spawn. Nothing more annoying than accidentally looking at an Enderman that you couldn't see through the fire. It's not that I don't use beds or tnt at all. Sometimes I will use them to open things up on my way back to my portal if I'm in the mood to do so. I've also stopped using chests in the Nether, and have gone to storing things in Droppers instead.
@@adeadfish5006 we all have our favorite stone types. Mine just happens to be black stone. Deepslate has a great block palette I can agree on that. I built my base with both.
I find the best time to branch mine for ancient debris is when I'm making my nether hub. I gotta get to that place thousands of blocks away, well, let's go branch mine for from ancient debris in one direction for thousands of blocks.
if you mine 2 blocks ahead, you expose 8 Blocks. One on top, one on the bottom, two left, two right and two in front. Saying that, one only has to mine 27 Blocks to the front to expose 216 Blocks. Though when mining with a bed or TNT, there are also still blocks that weren't considered. Just wanted to say that the calculations for how much gets exposed seamed a bit off
Friends got me into minecraft right when they were getting into enchanting table and diamond equipment for everyone. Found a bed netherite guide, and there is a large section of the nether that is nothing but hellscape caverns 😂
Funny how so many RUclips videos feature players getting incredibly lucky finding ancient debris 🙂 I mined enough to upgrade all tools, weapons, and armor for 2 players last year, so I know how much time this takes and the chances of finding it.
And thanks to how diamonds now generate in Minecraft, I've officially found MORE ancient debris than DIAMOND ORE in my world. Yeah. It's THAT easy to find.
The problem with beds is that they leave fire everywhere, making it harder to look for ancient debree, and it takes a bit longer to set up than tnt, which you can make a trail of and set it all off at once. It may be a bit more costly, but the materials aren’t too hard to get.
@@nobody4552 Not possible for me, I made the mistake of getting the game on switch, also no tnt does not light netherrack on fire, that is litterally shown in this video
@@brawlman644 damn rip, also tnt fire is just from what I remember and probably just confused lava with fire, still ive tried both methods on survival and I like bed bombing better. everybody has different opinions so ig I shouldnt force this on you
I just place a single piece of obsidian or a blast resistant block in front of me when I'm at range to trigger the bed explosion. You take maybe half a heart every time and don't wear down your armor.
If you are going to mine for netherite with a pickaxe you should do it at a chunk border and do it in a 2x2 tunnel cuz of the way it spawns in chunks etc
There are random pockets of lava in the Nether so it would probably be really dangerous and even if the wither exposes debris then it would most likely break the block which would make it really hard to try to find and might even despawn. I suggest to just enough Netherite for your tools and put mending on them so you don't need to look for Netherite ever again.
I still use TNT because it a) doesn't set me on fire and, more importantly, b) one tnt can set off another one, so you can explode a few stacks all at once. Neither beds nor end crystals can do that, and beds don't even stack, so they're kind of just a cheap substitute for TNT.
0:19 I'm sorry but saying Beds are more efficient than TNT is like saying leather is better than diamond. It really makes no sense. TNT, provided you have a gunpowder farm is super easy to make, and doesn't produce fire like said in that little chart. (at least to my knowledge) I never have problems with fire when TNT Ancient Debris mining. So that little point probably isn't very accurate. IMO the Pros and cons should be as follows for that chart: Pros: Most efficient Way Of Mining Netherite Fast And Low Risk Of Damage. Stackable Unlike Beds Doesn't Produce Fire Cons: Hard To Get Without A Gunpowder Farm. However if you have a gunpowder farm, tnt is without a doubt the best way of getting netherite in minecraft. and probably should be used by any mid-late game minecrafter. Obviously Early game you may not have access to double chest and double chests worth of gunpowder, but if you do, it's 100% the most easiest way to get netherite.
Tnt is actually less than half as useful as a pickaxe because when mining you uncover 6 blocks at a time, and with tnt you don't need to be opening up all that area because if you were to make 2 mines with 2 blocks in between you would see all the blocks in between them, but with tnt you explode all of it. I didn't explain well but hopefully you get the jist whoever reads this
once found a debris over Y100 also another down side of bed is cant stack them... in order to bring 64 beds, need to bring 3 stacks each of wool and planks and a crafting table

Yeah tunnel bores/flying machines once set up definitely fall somewhere high on the efficiency/effort scale
True
Yes, that's pretty much what the top All Advancements speedrunners do, although they leave a bigger gap between each TNT and ignite them one at a time, as they lay them.
I prefer my 4 chunk wide TNT tunnel bores. It's definitely a lot less manual effort outside of plugging some lava holes.
Producing fire is not a drawback at all when mining for Netherite. It keeps the area lit up and prevents ghasts from spawning.
I don’t like half of my screen constantly covered in fire. Also it eats through so much food so fast. I’ll still stick with beds though, but the fire is definitely a huge negative. Just turn brightness or gamma up.
@@The_mrbob Yea, because turning brightness / gamma up prevents ghasts from spawning :p
You just bridge over the hole and avoid all fire. There's enough netherrack around to do that with.
Ghasts dont spawn according to my knowledge, it never happened to me. Ghasts would not be a big problem anyaways
@@vladivascanu108 I've had serious issues with ghasts when creating too much unlit open space while mining. They definitely spawn.
I’m glad you said mining is still a valid way to do it. I find explosions so scary and hate dealing with them. Also (as you said) mining is just so much more fun to me because I can listen to audiobooks or toycat videos while I do it :)
I’m sick of people judging me for not wanting to blow up my nether to look for ancient debris so thanks for not being one of those people.
In other words, mining is great for me (but if I’m ever exploding things in creative again sounds like end crystals are the way to go)
Love your videos :)
big agree on everything you said, I'm the same!!
Put mending on your gear and enjoy netherite gear all the time
Ive been using the wither to mine.. It started as a way to clear out my tunnels, but i already have 11 extra netherite suits in my survival world.
I personally mine y=15 along the border, and then explode a bed at another border so it's a chunk corner, I found this method is very good and I found ancient debris a lot of times
yea but beds are early game method bc they are non stackable and more manual than TNT or crystal
also fire from beds can cover debris that is hidden
relaxed is the way to go for me, I don't care much for min maxing xD I just want to have fun, and my version of fun is taking things slow and chill
Totally agree with the mining idea. I just got fully netherited up mining. Collecting XP as I went and it was super-chilled. 👌
Wrong about the air exposure time with mining. Every 1 block mined exposes 4 other blocks to air (in a 1 wide, 2 tall tunnel), so you would need to mine 45 blocks to get 136 exposed to air. Love your videos, keep them coming 👍
Netherrack can be instantly mined with a Stone Pickaxe (at least in Bedrock edition). Even if it isn't enchanted
Title:best way to find netherite.
Toycat: it's actually ancient debris, you have to craft netherite.
I always do strip mining with speed 2 potions and sprinting. It's relatively easy to run past ancient debris without seeing it but fairly fast
one extra con about beds is that you can't stack them tho
I blew up 40 beds and I did not found even one ancient debri.
Bad RNG I gues
Game Theory
Ancient Debris are remnants of nether reactor cores
I use crystal mining there’s a way to chain it and get rid of the obsidian so u get more yield of area. Tho yea the cost isn’t great
I found, when mining for ancient debris, that if I run into lava I will mine a block in front of me so I can get closer to the hole with little chance to catch on fire.
As a recovered teen pyro, I really liked the way you told that story. I never got burnt, thank God, but yikes was I close.
Yay! A let's play!! Thank you for uploading have been missing you
If you are able to set up a Creeper Farm for gunpowder, then the TNT method is by far the best.

Lava oceans 💪
I wasn't expecting this to sound like an essay for a college paper, I liked it
Gonna have to do a ton of netherite mining since I'm planning on making netherite armour set with every trim and every material
Thanks for this. Keep up the great videos. I have been watching you for a few years and never dissapointed when you put out new content.
Im sad you didnt include wither mining. The best method by far.
I mine 500 blocks straight, then back out with beds. And do that over and over and over. I did a stack of beds once and got a stack of ancient debris in return. That was my best haul ever. Found 2 nodes of 6 each which im fairly certain is the max amount per chunk.
Your random inner monologues spoke to me in this video lmao. First time viewer, liked and subscribed!
Thank you!
With an unbreaking, mending, efficiency pickaxe you just dig, seems pretty simple to me
Pro tip, take all the materials to make beds with you, fit much more in your inventory
As a scientist I SO deeply appreciate the data presented here 😍
Well, you're counting blocks mined at 8:41 and counting total blocks destroyed with TNT right? But for every 2 blocks you mine, you can discover if ancient debris is in any of 8 blocks. The two you mined, the ceiling, the floor, and the four that make up the walls. So that would be only 27 blocks mined to get the some count. However if TNT were to create a 6x6x6 cavity, you count those 216 blocks but also count the floor, ceiling, and walls which are each 36, so you end up with double the blocks.
I have 5 full sets of Netherite armor and 4 of each tool/weapon from mining at y:11. I needed this video like 3 weeks ago 😅
"its one of the rarest ores by its generation"
Deepslate emerald ore : am I a joke to you?
A helpful tip would be to have mending on your pickaxe should you mine. Then you can repair it every time you run across some nether quartz!
I feel like using fire resistance on bed mining is a waste when on bedrock 7 levels of fire protection means you instantly go out If you catch fire.
And with the particle effects you can see which biome you are under (so if you see dark blue you know you can hunt for ender pearls if you go up).
a very relevant video considering the upcoming update
Mostly I'll dig in a straight line. Beds are messy, and I don't like wasting gunpowder on tnt. Plus, when you open-up large areas, it gives mobs room to spawn. Nothing more annoying than accidentally looking at an Enderman that you couldn't see through the fire. It's not that I don't use beds or tnt at all. Sometimes I will use them to open things up on my way back to my portal if I'm in the mood to do so.
I've also stopped using chests in the Nether, and have gone to storing things in Droppers instead.
You also come across huge caves with ghasts in them. Also after the caves and cliffs update black stone has been underrated ever since.
Deepslate gang
@@adeadfish5006 we all have our favorite stone types. Mine just happens to be black stone. Deepslate has a great block palette I can agree on that. I built my base with both.
I absolutely love the bed method. It's saved me countless hours.
9:55 I don't think Zyph's "Hiding Beds in the Nether in Bedwars" is about beds exploding in the nether...
Thanks so much for the fire circle idea!!
got weirdly existential in that "deep thoughts while mining" segment.
Your videos are so useful i dont know what I'd do without you please take care and continue to upload❤
Funny how so many RUclips videos feature players getting incredibly lucky finding ancient debris 🙂
I mined enough to upgrade all tools, weapons, and armor for 2 players last year, so I know how much time this takes and the chances of finding it.
It may be a bit more costly, but the materials aren’t too hard to get.
get a texture pack that shrinks the size of fire + beds are more accessible to players like me who only have a desert 6000 blocks from spawn
+ tnts also make fire so your first point also holds no weight
I think Toycat missed a method called wither mining.
I wonder if explosions from the Wither could help me find ancient debris better or is it worse?
There are random pockets of lava in the Nether so it would probably be really dangerous and even if the wither exposes debris then it would most likely break the block which would make it really hard to try to find and might even despawn. I suggest to just enough Netherite for your tools and put mending on them so you don't need to look for Netherite ever again.
I never even considered end crystals 😂
I always bring fire resistance potions for bed mining in the Nether and also have a set of blast protection (diamond) armor for it
Sand for explosives: Dig/Smelt or Librarian?
Mining with a pickaxe: Mending yes or no?
Toycat Sir, you say the bed doesn't work in the Nether, but it appears to be doing a very good job.
Efficiency V pick always gets me all the ancient debris I need within 2 hours
Turn that flint into emeralds! You can sell it to villagers (ie fletcher or smiths).
IMO the Pros and cons should be as follows for that chart:
Pros:
Most efficient Way Of Mining Netherite
Fast And Low Risk Of Damage.
Stackable Unlike Beds
Doesn't Produce Fire
Cons:
Hard To Get Without A Gunpowder Farm.
More videos where you just ramble about anything because that was enjoyable.
Awesome tutorial! Thank you! Can you please do the tutorial about netherite armor updates in 1.20?
Tnt is actually less than half as useful as a pickaxe because when mining you uncover 6 blocks at a time, and with tnt you don't need to be opening up all that area because if you were to make 2 mines with 2 blocks in between you would see all the blocks in between them, but with tnt you explode all of it. I didn't explain well but hopefully you get the jist whoever reads this
Netherite is resitant to fire and lava but not a cactus
once found a debris over Y100
also another down side of bed is cant stack them... in order to bring 64 beds, need to bring 3 stacks each of wool and planks and a crafting table
