Id love to see more of Steves thoughts on competitive play. I find myself agreeing with him on those thoughts over a lot of other Old World creators. Something like a once a quarter round up on thoughts from what he sees going on in the meta would be cool.
Tomb king able to take a Nekekara spell is a home made rule? Because in my book, in royal host, they only have access to Necromancy. I wish with all my strengh they can use Nehekara lore. But the rules says no.
You should only disallow use of the Talisman of Protection if you also ban all of the individual army items that can give a ward save to a character that wouldn't normally have one. All the ToP does that's arguably problematic is make fighty characters on monsters a bit more durable, if you want that problem eased it needs to be a blanket agreement, not just the most common usage from the base rulebook, otherwise armies that don't have their own ward save item arbitrarily get worse.

Two of my favorite armies! This is awesome
Too bad no one near me plays, or I'd break out the Tomb King army I've had for twenty years.
just ask people and if possible bring an army for them to play along. (1K game)
Where do you live?
