- Happy 2nd Birthday to Undertale!!
This collaboration project is finally finished! I would like to thank everyone who participated in this huge project; This couldn’t have been possible without every one of you! 23 people, 57 tracks/voices! (Mixing it in three days!) I think it's heartwarming to unite the fans of Undertale and those who love to sing, and expressing all of this together for this day~
Interpretations are open to the listener; When I re-listened to the lyrics of Shattered a year ago, it reminded me so much of Asriel that I just had to make this project happen. I hope everyone who participated enjoyed taking part :)
In the next upload, I’ll be talking more about my after-thoughts on this project as well as future large project collaborations~ So if you couldn’t join this project, there will be more to come!

The only regret is joining it so late
I found myself crying at this song, it's so beautiful. Thank you Undertale, for helping me through hard times and good times, and making me laugh. Thanks. You are a one in a lifetime story, you know.

This is probably going to sound… kinda sappy, and a bit personal, so… Under a Read More it goes, I suppose.
When the song began, I felt myself tearing up. Already, I could feel emotions building, the lyrics striking a chord that they wouldn’t have with the original accompaniment.
And then, the chorus began, and the floodgates opened.
Days, weeks, months, years worth of insecurities and anxieties and failures, of self-loathing and pain and loneliness came pouring forth, but not to overwhelm. To let go. To heal, even just a little.
This song provided a piece of much needed catharsis. Whether it’s the timing - of having had things build up again to yet another breaking point -, the lyrics finding a new and personal meaning to me, or both, I couldn’t say. But I’ve had myself a good cry and let at least a little bit of that go, so… thank you. All of you. Though the intent was not specifically so, you’ve all helped me in a way I could never hope to fully and properly express.
I admire your honesty on how this affected you; your response to this project is actually my personal goal as a creator, so I'm glad it came across the way it did. I know this comment was made like, two years ago but I need to know. How are you able to share your lyrics just like that? Aren't you afraid of others copying and stealing the song you made? I myself, love writing music if it's for instruments or a lyrics to sing but I never share it because I'm afraid of being judged, or others copying and it might turn out to be okay. Though I doubt others would copy a lyrics I made because, others make much better lyrics.

But I have written original lyrics/music before and I will admit that it does still make me a bit nervous about others copying/stealing my song; so I understand where you're coming from. The important thing is to remember that your lyrics originate from yourself as a form of self-expression, and that artistic integrity holds such a personal value to yourself and that is what's admirable. Unfortunately, even with copyright, we can't prevent everyone from copying lyrics or wanting to cover songs using our lyrics, but the way each of us performs our lyrics/music will always have a different interpretation that sets us apart, and that's okay because that's what makes it unique. Be proud of who you are and what you are able to create, because that's a part of who you are and when it comes to art, you shouldn't hide that :)

After 5 years of determination, this got recommended to me. I remember first playing this game on my switch at the beginning of 2020, and it was a blast. This song made me remember those happy times. Undertale is more than a game, it’s a feeling, a memory, an experience. Thank you Toby, for changing my life forever, and that you inspired me to make my own Undertale lore. If I ever get the chance to meet you, I’d show you what I had accomplished.
Undertale’s feels helped me look away from this dark and messed up pandemic we’re in right now, and it makes me feel good.
I was actually crying inside because of how beautiful and saddening this song was. It made me think of the friends I had made as well. We had someone to love and protect us like Toriel, we had someone to make us laugh and encourage ourselves like Sans, we had someone who is enthusiastic and believes in us in any way possible like Papyrus, we had someone who is determined to make us feel strong and powerful like Undyne, we had someone who makes us know there is more to love us like Alphys, we have someone who knows we can be a star like Mettaton, and someone who can encourage us the whole journey and make us feel determined like Asgore. So thank you, Toby Fox, for everything you’ve done.
People always wanted to save Asriel, but they never wanted to save Chara. One day, Asriel, and one day Chara, I will save you both from just plain death, and an evil soulless flower. The only way I’m able to save him is in my dreams. Whenever I have to go to bed, I always try to have a thought of saving Asriel by giving him half of my soul, but I could never finish that thought, and it was always interrupted by something else. Although, one day, that dream will be fulfilled.
To anyone who is reading this, you are a wonderful person, and I believe you can do amazing things.

It’s been almost 4 years, and for the past 4 years, my life has changed forever, this “game” isn’t just a game for me, it’s a reality that has changed my life forever, this game will forever be inside my heart. And I hope to show this game to my kids one day

Heh... this was what I listened to when I needed to calm myself down after my cat was diagnosed with cancer. (He died on October 12. May he rest in peace.)
Now I'm listening again, as my grandpa is being put in hospice. He has cancer, too. He won the battle against it once, but this time, we can't do anything.
Life's hard right now. I just hope nothing bad happens to Mom, with the slippery roads.

Grandpa is still holding on, and Mom is okay. As for cats, we have a rescue named Oreo.
a quick update: im now about to take a giant step forward. I go to horse therapy, and yesterday there was a woman there. She told me she was a writer and was there for inspiration on a book themed around horse therapy. We got along quite well, and she gave me her email.
I'm going to email her today, and hopefully I can help her write the book like she wants it.
I'm nervous and excited.

Wow this was absolutely amazing to listen to! I love Undertale because it shows that there is such thing as love, the good love and people come together as a community loving what this game is. And my friend this collaboration is a good example of what I'm talking about. It's been two years, but we still love Undertale, we still remember it's choice of mercy, and remember (quiet possibly) as one of the games that shows something different. I really do hope we see more projects like this!
