I lost someone I loved dearly last year. I didn't know they had passed until months after she had died.
I felt so much guilt about it. This song reminds me so much of what it means for me to feel how much I was not ready for her to be gone. 10+ years we knew each other, were close, but wandered our separate ways from time to time. Then she died.
I miss her everyday.
I am so sorry, it gets better I know how hard it is to deal with loss, even though I don't know exactly what you going thru, I just want to tell you that you are not alone and it does get better.

Out of all of my life, this is the only orchestral cover that has made me cry, and, in general, the only piece of media that had made me cry. But I wasn't crying because of any sad story that happened, but rather, I was crying because of memories, good and bad memories that I thought I had forgotten forever, and that I just remembered now. Moments in my life I thought I wouldn't see again, that I came back to see because of this song. It was because of this that I cried, not because of things that happened, but rather, because of things I thought didn't happen.

I thought I’d never hear more undertale expertise from you again. You never fail to disappoint. And very well-included live playing!
For some reason i wear earbuds whenever we play a team based sport to get me into the fighting spirit. Today we played dodgeball against some of my friends. I was the only one, trying to survive their blows. The song then accidently played on my speaker (earbuds disconnected) allowing everyone to hear the perfectly synchronized with my struggle melody. This, was the music for my last stand, where despite the odds and their blows, i have forgiven their agression, then at 4:50 i proceed to stand up and begin the counterattack, with tears in my eyes. The blows went EVERYWHERE. I was filled with fighting spirit like ,, it's almost over" and sadness because i had to knock out my best friend.
This, was the best music for my final stand. Thank you, and please add some choir to this if you want to make it again

This song and particular version means a lot to me.
My girlfriend was relatively new to Undertale a couple of months ago when I sent her this song. She found it to be interesting and asked me where it was from. I replied "I'll show you."
Over the course of the next few days I played the entirety of Undertale's Pacifist run to completion(For the first time I might add) with her watching the whole time. She loved every song she came across on our journey and still does.
When we reached Asriel's bossfight she was smiling...until she heard this song start playing. We both just started crying.
I am happy to say that because of this particular song and variation, my girlfriend got to accompany me on a wonderful journey through a game I'd yet left incomplete. A game and universe she is now a fan of all because of this. song.

i love how Undertale tells that Determination is the power to change reality the way you want it to be in the game. If it is too great, a person will be able to make the whole world the way he alone wants it to be. There is no telling if such a world will be good or bad in that story.

I just read a story about Asriel and then heard this song, so sad to know Asriel died at such a young age 😭
I think a lot of these are used as imagination fuel for people's own personal scenarios and not necessarily just Undertale, at least in my case.
I've been trying to find a track as inspiration for a scene I've had playing in my head for a while, for my background noise fantasy scenario that plays out during the day, and this almost perfectly encapsulates the emotions behind that scene. So needless to say it's been on semi-permanent loop with that scene playing in my head over and over again since discovering it.
Beautiful track, a real tear jerker theme, I imagine it is for a lot of people's scenarios.
