Here we go, the grand finale of The Tale of a Pacifist, I give you Undertale. It's absolutely insane to me that it's only been half a year since I uploaded my first arrangement from Undertale and that from that moment I knew I wanted to make an album. This journey has been incredible and has been filled with some of the best moments of my life.
First of all, I have to give a huge thank you to Olivia who has been providing me with her incredible artwork during this entire journey, my videos would not be as good if it wasn't for her and I am so glad to have gotten to know you, thank you for being the best!
I also have to thank my best boi Xandu for pushing me to start putting out content on RUclips and for always being there for me whenever I needed help with a video, a mix or anything else, I value this guys friendship more than anything in the world and hope to continue staying friends for a long time.
Of course, the biggest thank you goes out to all of you who has been watching the videos and given such amazing support to me, you guys have without a doubt changed my life for the better and I hope to provide even more and even better music to you in the future, thank you!

Cloudjumper This is one of my favorite tracks in the entire game. You captured all these emotions so wonderfully. The sadness and emotion.
So Fabulous Its cool right? The fanbase is getting smaller, but in a good way. All the cancer is leaving and now only the REAL fans like Cloudjumper remain. Its interesting watching it get better with age.
If you do another Undertale album, I would absolutely LOVE it if you made renditions of "Battle Against a True Hero", "Death by Glamour", and "Stronger Monsters". Those would sound amazing!

All the Undertale song are cool, I think megalovania shouldn't be that love, I mean, look at Undertale, his theme/heartache/ect...All the songs are really good and most of theme give an emotion and megalovania don't (In my opinon) Undertale His theme and memory are the sadest song for me (I admit that I've cried hearing them in the game TwT)
Itz Chara&Yui plays I agree... in my honest opinion the top three can't really be named, Megalavonia is the most known sure, but His Theme, Undertale, Asgore's Theme and HeartAche are just so good

@@Evdafawth absolutely not. "Harm" can mean self defence, and that is absolutely okay. Even necessary, in fact.
@@hdmonster3327 Uh, people kill in self defense too. No, it's not *always* justified, but not never. I'm not talking about the game, where you don't have to kill the final boss but do have to harm it. (being vague to not spoil anyone else)
@@Evdafawth doesn't just apply to Asgore. Almost any monster who is attacking you can be spared after beating the shit out of them, and it still counts as being a pacifist. And rightfully so, because guess what! They attacked you first.
However, if you deliberately *kill* the attacker after they no longer want to fight you, or kill monsters like Whimsun, who don't want to fight you AT ALL, then that is definitely malicious.
@@hdmonster3327 Fair enough, though I thought a True Pacifist run required you to not attack any monster that you aren't forced to. Anyway, we haven't heard from OP, maybe they will be able convince me.

Determination Fills you
Even though Undertale is 2 years old, I feel like it's music is still alive and well. Even though I have listened to it's music hundreds of times, I still get the feels as if I am listening to it for the first time. Undertale has changed my life forever, it has shown me to give love and friendship to those in my life, no matter who it was or is, no matter how big or small they were. Thanks Cloud for giving me a reason to love life, just as Undertale has.

Luckily I think most people have actually moved away from that mindset. :)
I used to think chara was super evil, before I played, because that was how the fandom portrayed them. But when I finished my genocide route, I just saw them as a terrified and terrifying child trying to make me stop my genocidal path. And when I reopened the game, they didn't want me to come back, knowing what I had done and could do. I honestly had respect for them.
@@unHolyEvelyn Chara killed them self and gave Asriel their soul so they could get souls to destroy the barrier. Chara knew Asriel wouldn't do it, so they tricked him to go to the surface to they could take over his body and do it manually. They weren't selfish, even if their plan to set the monsters free was a bit extreme.
@@unHolyEvelyn Asriel was aware of the plan. In the tapes he mentions needing 6 six souls. Thinking about it I actually feel a bit sad for Chara? They killed them self so monsters could go free only for Asriel to decide last second he didn't want to go through with the plan causing his death, Chara's best friend . I don't blame him obviously but the whole thing gets sadder when you look at it from Charas perspective.
@@unHolyEvelyn Monster Kid said the exact same thing about Undyne and how he now perfers Papyrus. I like to think what Asriel was saying was that as he looked up to Chara to the point of going with a plan he was uncomfortable with he realised Chara wasn't perfect and held an extreme grudge against humanity and acted harsh towards humans due to that. But at the same time Asriels comment is a bit vague so I could be completely wrong.
When I hear this orchestrated piece, I can only imagine Frisk walking hand in hand with Toriel, right behind Asgore. And as they reach the bottom of the mountain, one by one, the monsters appear before the humans, all with smiles on their faces. They are all happy to finally see the sun and are looking forward to repairing their broken relationship with the humans. And Frisk has a determined smile on their face. They are ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead, which will eventually lead on into the sequel. In my personal opinion, had Toby Fox allowed that particular scene between humans and monsters be seen, I would want this in the background. That would've been the freaking icing on the cake!
This is one of my favorite pieces from the Undertale soundtrack, and I don't think that anyone could have made this piece any better than you did! You went and made this a golden, shining masterpiece! Congratulations. :)
And maybe Asgore doing something he has to do...

Also it could be likely any humans that were alive when Asriel and Chara were alive are very old. (And those were probably the ones who were close in age to Chara.)
The ones old enough to have attacked Asriel have probably since passed.
Is it weird that when Chara said "I want to see the fowers of my home again" That I thought they ment the underground's flower bed bc they treated them with kindness
Not really, in fact, that's exactly what I thought my first time.
I always thought why the music always picks up at the "The human died." part, it first confused me about why have such sad part have so much uplifting music. Then i put myself in the shoes of Asriel, Toriel and Asgore. The sheer emotion and heartache that was felt must have been a powerful experience, all the Monsters hope basically almost vanished in a single day. And with Asriel, absorbing the soul and trying to fulfill Chara's wish to both free monsters and to set them free. With the emotional heartbreak and the grief and anger of Asgore declaring war on Humanity and anyone who feel down.
It's... such a emotional piece and to hear it basically remastered both lifted my spirits and thought about my adventures i had with the game. Almost put myself in the shoes of the human, such a simple game can lead to so much more.
That part contains 2 main emotions.
Accomplishment and Grief
Chara got to see the flowers in their village, but both of them died
You both nailed on the head how this song makes me start crying.
I've never connected to game characters on such a level until this game came out. And this track...

A very long time ago, I made a new friend. He became my best friend. This year he is in hospital slowly losing his will to fight. He is dying slowly. We were both huge fans of undertale and toby fox inspired us both. This song reminds me of him and our friend ship. Rest in piece bro....

This brings back memories. I still vividly remember playing through this part of the game for the first time. Discovering the old abandoned home, with all pieces of the puzzle finally coming together, as the monsters recite the tragic backstory of the royal family while realization kicked in that this was the UNDERTALE that this entire game was all about... I just started crying. I cried like a little kid, probably harder than I had ever cried at a game at that point. I just couldn't hold myself back. It was one of the best narrative experiences I have ever had with a video game, one that solidified Undertale as one of my favorite games of all time. So thank you Toby Fox, for creating this awesome game. And thank you, Cloudjumper, for allowing me to re-live this experience once more.

Over time, ASRIEL and the human became like siblings.
The King and Queen treated the human child as their own.
The Underground was full of hope.
Then... One day...
The human became very ill.
The sick human had only one request.
To see the flowers from their village.
But there was nothing we could do.
The next day...
The next day... the human died.
ASRIEL, wracked with grief, absorbed the human's SOUL.
He transformed into a being with incredible power.
With the human SOUL, ASRIEL crossed the barrier
He carried the human's body into the sunset.
Back to the village of the humans.
ASRIEL reached the center of the village.
There, he found a bed of golden flowers.
He carried the human onto it.
Suddenly, screams rang out.
The villagers saw ASRIEL holding the human's body.
They thought he had killed the child.
The humans attacked him with everything they had.
He was struck with blow after blow.
ASRIEL had the power to destroy them all.
But...
ASRIEL did not fight back.
Clutching the human...
ASRIEL smiled, and walked away.
Wounded, ASRIEL stumbled home.
He entered the castle and collapsed.
His dust spread across the garden.
The kingdom fell into despair.
The king and queen had lost two children in one night
The humans had once again taken everything from us.
The king decided it was time to end our suffering.
Every human who falls down here must die.
With enough souls, we can shatter the barrier forever.

The whole sequence really puts a different mood on the game. Like the second you walk through that area, you will NEVER look at this game the same way again, and this is why pieces like this and the original are so great.
This part in the game was the first time a video game made me cry.
I had gotten attached to characters and felt empathy before, but never did a game actually hit me so hard emotionally or make me bawl so hard as Toby Fox did when I learned what had happened to Asgore and what he'd been through. It hit me hard, harder than any similar moment in any other game.
This song is just as sad because it made me feel everything he went through and felt.
Anger. Sorrow. Loneliness.
All those, and so much more, especially his broken hopes and shattered dreams. (Pardon the pun.) This song helped me connect to Asgore and his family in a way a game or soundtrack has never done before.
I commend Toby Fox for that. And I commend the creator of this remix for empowering it.

I was honestly never one to cry over sad songs, but this remix with it gradually building up, and along with the story being told on-screen, it brought tears to my eyes. This is by far the best Undertale remix. ya did a damn good job with this. Thankyou for bringing us these remixes, and finishing with my favourite song from Undertale, a song that doesn't get remixed too often. And definitely not this well.

This entire video made my heart swell with happiness. I’ve just gotten back into undertale after about two years of neglecting it and moving on with drawing my own things, but recently I wanted to revisit it and draw some of my favorite characters. I found this while searching for orchestral arrangements of my favorite song from the soundtrack and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with this. Thank you for putting this piece together ❤️

I listened to many undertale theme (or new home theme as some call it) remixes. This one feels like the ENTIRE UNDERGROUND PLAYS IT, every instrument used symbolizes a character that mirrors their personality (example: guitar that symbolizes undyne). And you know, there are the ,,booms" of everything being thrown at once, but this one was do large it literally sent a shockwave do great that i had to move back a bit. Plus the text that appears with it feels both sad and funny
