    I am older, 67. My Dad had a Standard Station back in the 1950s.( Chattanooga, Tn.) Old southern guy, but I have been in Central Minnesota for 41 years. I always watch and enjoy your videos. I think many are too quick to criticize and slow to praise. Being an old car guy, keep up super wrenching . Many of us watch ya but never comment. I never have commented, but I wanted you to know. There are many of us out there. Love ya, buddy, and God bless you and yours! A little blonde Swedish gal 👧 brought me north. Ha.

    Good evening brother Kenny. I have a recommendation for you and that is to place a moving pad over the front engine area to afford you some protection and comfort. I bought mine at Harbor Freight and it saves from burning yourself or gouging your skin. Great video packed full of details and information.

    I am having a similar issue with my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, (167,000) miles on it. Have never replaced the coils or do I have a scanner to read the history of events. Maybe you or someone else can recommend a scanner that not too expensive that can read the history. Love your videos, especially because they are accurate, to the point and no LOUD UNECESSARY DISTRACTING BACKGROUND MUSIC! Thanks.

    Save yourself a headache and only use OEM coils IMO.

      MSD and Accel are two examples of it.There is a video on another channel showing proof of it on a Ford F150 with the MSD coils.This one was with the ecoboost.It ran bad and putting the Motorcraft coils in it fixed it

    • @bearing_aficionado

      @@davidwinfrey3307because the Ecoboost engine actually has more power than the V8.

      All depends on what year you get. They are actually fun to drive and got some power. But they do require extra preventive maintenance. Such as more frequent oil changes.

    Would you not recommend using dielectric grease in the coil packs?

    • @SeanBZA
      @SeanBZA 3 месяца назад +1

      They need it if you are driving in anything where there is wet weather, so they can have no water ingress. The new coils came pre greased, while the old ones look like they did not.

      It just covers the engine. They say it's supposed to reduce engine noise inside the cabin. But you can keep it off if you want too.

    I know NGK's are good plugs but when it comes to Ford's, and watching other RUclips video content from other creators with some who are Ford Master Tech's, all of them say to use Motorcraft plugs and coils ONLY! Because Ford's are very finicky.

    Assuming your camera is showing true colors…the plugs show he is using gas with mmt additive. . Known in my part of the world to cause misfires. New plugs going to help for a while, but they’ll also start misfiring later. Other than that, good job….
