Carol & Company - Season 02 Episode 12 - "Spudnik" TX: 08/12/1990

Full episode from the much underrated and extremely funny anthology series "Carol & Company" starring the wonderful Carol Burnett and her wonderful ensemble regular cast.
"Spudnik" features Carol playing Vera Mae Klybocker, a strange, kind, but oh so lonely lady that has come to a dark dock one evening with the intention meet alien "friends" she has been in contact with. Vera meets a lonely fisher called Dakota, who just wants to fish in peace. Vera prepares for her "teleportation" that promises her a place where she belongs, but Dakota tries to tell her that there are no aliens and no ones cares for anyone. A special episode that shows what true company and friendship actually is.

This series has never been released on home media which is a real shame as it deserves it.
So far, only three whole episodes have surfaced and this is one of them.

In Australia it aired at some point in mid 1992 to early 1993 on the Seven Network.
