    I cut a valvestem off an old tube and stick it in hole, that way you can shoot air or take out core and shoot lube in there and covers the hole

    DRP make little plugs for the holes. I got them a RMATV. They are nice. A little dab of silicone. Also, I going to try some street valves. A little puff of air helps the tire seat if it does not. Also you can you remove the core and use a syringe to inject lube. It will distribute after riding. You can also use a junk tube and cut of the valve stem. That was way easy. I do mine without a rabaconda. Want one for sure. Its all about the technique. I don't need any Clamps or fancy stuff. I have 2 irons like he has. Then three HD spoons and two bead buddies. I use the bead buddy to start. I usually do it in under ten minutes for a rear with no cussing. I want it purely for the bead breaker. After they have been on a while and several washes they are hard to break the bead.

    A video showing tips for installing a tire with Tubliss vs tubes would be great! Also your opinion on Tubliss would be interesting too! Thanks.

    I highly recommend two RIM locks. I use Nitro Mousse Platinum and I had my rear tire come off the rim last Sunday on an FE350. We were getting after it over some really gnarly rocky stuff and I guess she just rolled off on a rock. I made it back because the mousse held together and the single beadlock gripped the tire to allow traction. I have just ordered more rim locks need her ready for this weekend ride.

    Very informative Spence, thankyou. Can i ask if you remove the standard rim tape before using the Gorilla tape or do you just tape over the top of it? Thanks.

    You should do a video on how to bead the tire with a bib. They can be very stubborn.

    What about loading a grease gun with mousse gel and installing zerk fittings on the rim?

    • @andrecontois8510
      @andrecontois8510 Год назад +1

      Converted a lock on air chuck for the grease gun to shrader valve. Only use an air chuck which works without the shrader core in so it pumps easier.

      @@andrecontois8510 Nice, how many shrader valves, just the one?

      Yeah just one. Same as a tube would use. Nutech says just dump the whole tube of lube and ride 15 minutes for the mouse to be evenly lubed anyway. I've been experimenting with tire soap too, but for disclaimer purposes can't really make suggestions if it distributes as well as purpose made lube.

    Good luck ever cleaning up gorilla tape residue. Used gorilla tape once on a mountain bike wheel to run tubeless. Never again. Spent hours cleaning that shit off. So many better options

    This is a perfect example of being slow. Not hating on the guy but if this was on a enduro course they would have lapped the rider by now while his still messing trying to fit the tyre on. Dunlop do a perfect example on how to put one on without having these stands and quicker too. Put a dab of tyre paste on the inside bead. Step the mouse into the tyre job done, no need to spend $20 on moouse paste and get it everywhere 🤦🏻‍♂️
