- This is a comparison series I’m doing on the new Dunlop AT82 tires. Forgot to mention I normally ride low pressures 9psi front 6psi rear with UHD tubes.

Just put the At82 on the front of my ktm 300. Paired it with the 505 cheater on the back and so far loving the combo. I was having no problem gripping over roots, rocks, and loose soil. Cheers!
Love the AT81. That looks like a Starcross 6 rear. Same scoop style single center lug. Should be good to go. Both are great tires.
I’m in the odd camp of loving the AT81 rears. It’s all I race with. Just wish it didn’t chunk so quickly.
Yes! First comparison I've seen! Nothing from media/magazines yet anyway. Even very little splash from dunlop themselves.
AT81 rear is a great do it all tire, and I suspect that the AT82 rear will be a better version of it. The AT81 front was not a great tire for most people. The new AT82 front is very similar to the MX33 with different side knob treatment. The MX33 front is an awesome off road tire and it would appear that the new AT82 front will perform similarly. I am waiting on my own test units to arrive in our location but we are still on studded tires for frozen trails here.
The new front also reminds me of the Bridgestone M59 and X31 pattern wise, which are both awesome tires.
Might be the first person i've ever heard say "i really like the AT81".
The rear is a great tire, hence why 80% of people in the gncc pm race run it in the rear. The front is absolutely horrific though
Love my At81 rear. currently 60hrs on it. should have gotten a new one 10 hrs ago though
The front 81 is horrific. Looks like the new front is similar to a M59.
Can't wait to seenthe results. However, I am curious about how flipping the tire is going to work out. Since it is designed to be 2 tires in one, so to speak.
I wish I would have got the 120/90 AT82. I got a 110/100 and it's a much taller and more narrow tire than an AT81 of the same size.
Is there an AT82EX coming too? 😮
I want to hear this but not sure if you can have any credibility due to your love of the at81. lol. Back tire is ok, front is total garbage. Buy some other brands, Bridgestone x31 front maybe an irc ve33s for the rear then do a review.
You know, I find this very interesting because I have tried several different tires and several different configurations that many of my friends absolutely love golden tires, MX 33,M5B, gummy‘s. Some of these tires are OK but not my preference. I’ll say for how I ride and where I ride I like what I like.
