I got this machine, people i know with expensive machines can not believe how the coffee comes out. Just as good as their you beaut machine. Very happy with this machine. Will probably buy the exact same one if breaks down . Has not yet, been 6 years. Xo
hi! nice video and great latte art! i have the same machine too but i just cant get the milk right... could u please do a video or teach me how u froth the milk? thanks!
hey, i just got a delonghi coffee machine and i've tried for close to 3 weeks but i just couldn't get the right texture of the milk froth. It'd be wonderful if you can do a video on how you froth the milk using your machine.
I see that you have remove a outer nozzle. I tried that before. It makes the milk less foamy but it’s difficult to make latte art as it’s too weak or shallow.
I have been holding the machine for 3 years . I have never been able to get a thick foam that I can get from an external frother for example "aeroccino nespresso "or "lavazza modo mio milk easy" The foam always comes out thin to me and it clearly affects the taste of the cappuccino so it's like zero. I take out the steam before and acted just like here. I use a pouring jug like here and pour it slowly like here . The espresso comes out well but the whipping actually just doesn’t work. Could it be that the frother of this machine is defective? How does it work for you
Use milk for more fat (not skim milk), use really cold milk so it can last for a longer forth. Also release the steam for a while first before actual forth so that the machine is in boiling state when u start forthing.
Do you you start by putting steamer to the bottom or top of the milk? My milk get hot around 5-10 sec, but you hold it around 70 secs. Such a big difference in steamer beteween 310 and 311?
Ah yes. This problem is cause by water build-up in the machine. Purge your steam plenty until the steam comes out dry and use it when only the green light is on. Your milk became watery because all that water were injected into it. I own the same machine and yeah it happens.
Hi, by removing the lock of the original wand, the inner part of the wand would fly off if i turn on the steam to full power. what did u do to keep it on? thx
I just cut bits off steam wand off so I can properly stretch the milk. Just remove the outer shroud of the frother and cut the long end off up to the 'line'. After that, just place and lock it back in.
i had also removed the panarello wand/locking nozzle, but does anyone know how to prevent the pointy wand remaining (like in video) from shooting out when it heats cold milk? have experienced it shooting off in all directions when frothing :/
I have the same Delonghi icona, but every time I take off the cappuchino accesory for better crema the little black accesory goes off violently because of the air pressure, do you guys have any idea to keep this thing in place?? Help me please I want to know how this guy do it 🙏🙏
you just have to push it tight every once in a while to make sure it is tightly sticked. My practice is to use a little bit of force to push it up after every usage when I clean it.
I found it was easier to get better control of the quality of the steam wand without the locking nozzle too. Finer bubbles *right* below the surface, giving a thicker, creamier solution. With the nozzle in place, it produced very large bubbles which burst shortly after pouring, giving a deflated cappuccino.
I'm guessing you didn't pre-heat the machine with the portafilter in long enough or you didn't run some water through your portafilter. Even cold ceramic/steel/glass cups will effect it. Try these first because my machine gets it to the perfect temperature.

wow! I wasn't expecting for that milk texture, congrats. It looks like a professional made coffee
I have found a method that 100% works on making a good foam of milk with using a timer :)

Hah! Hadn't thought to remove the panarello wand, that thing froths the shit out of your milk.
Hi, thank you for the video.
May i know how fine do you grind your beans?

Norah Jones made the video much better
Thanks for the video - with the pressurized portafilter with this machine, did you tamp the espresso at all?
Yes, watch my another more lengthy video here: The making of Lonely Latte (獨孤拿鐵) from Delonghi ECO 310
感觉棒棒哒~
其实我很担心portafilter那边的塑料喝多了会不会让我变得傻傻的,有没有换过那玩意啊?求大神指点
我還沒有傻啊! :)

What!! But how is it possible that the spout doesn't blow away??
I don't know. I just push it as hard as possible so that it won't blow away most of them (it did some times :p )
Hi Allen, with the wand, my milk foams up a lot. By removing the original wand, my milk became watery. Do you face the same issue?
No. U have to pull down your cup gradually to create foam.
Do you you start by putting steamer to the bottom or top of the milk? My milk get hot around 5-10 sec, but you hold it around 70 secs. Such a big difference in steamer beteween 310 and 311?
top. i put the milk in freezer for a few minutes first

W Ang Hi, mine will not. Just pull it back tight once in a while.
Hey. I know your comment is 2 years old lol. But i solved this problem simply by tying the wand with a long thin thread.
I just cut bits off steam wand off so I can properly stretch the milk.
Just remove the outer shroud of the frother and cut the long end off up to the 'line'. After that, just place and lock it back in.
I own the same machine like yours. Can I know how long do you extract the coffee? When do you know it's time to stop?
The button that you press to extract the coffee there is a light next to it stop frothing when it's fladhing
i had also removed the panarello wand/locking nozzle, but does anyone know how to prevent the pointy wand remaining (like in video) from shooting out when it heats cold milk? have experienced it shooting off in all directions when frothing :/

@@macrossover7 Thanks! I will try
how you get such decent crema in your machine. Mind comes out always under extracted
Just plug it hard enough. And after hundreds of trial and error. 😅
@@macrossover7 how many grams would you say?
No, I didn't depressurized the basket.
try removing the original wand like what I did in the video
iit sometimes happen to me too. need to tighten it once in a while
Is eco v311 with duo temperature?
I guess not. Not for v310.
@@macrossover7 thanks. I'm looking for an duo temperature espresso machine. U got any suggestions?
Hi, I notice that you seem to have replaced the standard steam wand from Delonghi when a different wand. Can you tell me what wand is that?
Hi, I just remove the part locking the original steam wand
Allen Cheuk Why did you remove that?
I found it was easier to get better control of the quality of the steam wand without the locking nozzle too. Finer bubbles *right* below the surface, giving a thicker, creamier solution. With the nozzle in place, it produced very large bubbles which burst shortly after pouring, giving a deflated cappuccino.
How much milk did you use ?
About a quarter of the tank.
150 to 200 ml?
Pek Cheng I don't measure exactly. Just use your feeling and try.
That wand (plastic sharp wand) just burst and drop into my milk. I have remove the outer piece of it. Is so scary
Remove the sticker just above the drip tray. good vid.
As fine as possible until u find your Delonghi can't squeeze coffee out
Is it not a good machine? I was thinking of buying one.
no way.....
what's the name of the song ?
Norah Jones "Don't Know Why"
Allen Cheuk thanks
Did your milk not taste funny coming out of that mug?
it tasted good
THAT MACHINE IS NOT HOT ENOUGTH,DONT BUY IT CRAP COFFEE
