Manitowoc ice machine not making ice fixed by replacing the Harvest Valve and Solenoid

This video shows the process of repairing a Manitowoc ice machine that is not making ice. This ice machines model number is UDF0140. This Manitowoc ice machine is sometimes referred to as an Under Counter Ice Machine or a Neo ice machine. While troubleshooting the machine I found that the machine had a bad Harvest Valve. The Harvest Valve is sometimes called a Hot Gas Valve. In this video I show the complete process of replacing the Harvest Valve and fixing this ice machine.

Do you have any flaker cleaning videos? I browsed your channel a bit but didn't see any. I cant find any good ones online. My company does a bunch of hoshizakis and some are flaker. But nobody has ever cleaned one before and I'm the PM guy. So it's a bit frustrating knowing I'm doing it half assed

Hot gas valve same as txv? I ask cause the new job i start this week deals with ice makers sometimes

No , two different components.

No. TXV’s meter the flow of refrigerant into the Evaporator so that ice can be form. The Hot Gas valve allows hot gas refrigerant to enter the Evaporator so the ice can slide off the evaporator after it freezes.
