    Taiyaki Sandwiches
    Difficulty: Easy
    Time: 30min
    Number of servings: 4-5
    Ingredients:
    1&1/3 cup (150g) cake flour
    2/3 tbsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    180ml milk
    1 tbsp. sugar
    ((Fillings FYI))

    Egg Salad:
    createeathappy....
    Directions:
    1. Sift in cake flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add sugar and mix well with a whisk. Add beaten egg and milk, then mix well with a whisk. (do not knead the batter)
    2. Heat the Taiyaki pan, grease the pan with cooking oil, on low heat, fill one side of the pan with the batter. Cook on low until the batter is half done. Then fill another side of the pan with the batter. Close the pan, cook on low for about 3 minutes until done. Turn the heat to medium or high, flip it over occasionally for a few times until they are golden brown on both sides.
    3. When the cake is cool enough to handle, make a cut half way down, making sure you do not cut all the way through. Then put your favorite fillings.

My favourite is matcha filling! I think savoury is a great idea though! Ham/smoked salmon and cheese, curry, spaghetti bolognaise, baked beans, or prawns/shrimp and salad would be tasty.

@ochikeron Carbs go so well together! We have jaffle sandwiches here, and a lot of people put either spaghetti bolognese or tinned spaghetti in them. So tasty!!

Ok,totally want that heart apron you have on in the end card, but then again I just am a sucker for cute kitchen stuff.
Also pizza (pepperoni and cheese ) would make a nice filling.
I could see maybe seafood salad being in one, maybe mix in a little bit of spicy flying fish roe in with it for a nice kick.
Being from the US and from the south, I gotta say that filling it with pulled pork bbq, beef brisket bbq with cheese or even beef chili would be awesome.

I have a question, for anyone who might know the answer. The pan used in the video - is it used for other things? It reminds me a bit of an omelette pan I saw before. I have just about zero use for a sandwich, most days; but, it sure would be cool to use it to make an omelette. If it would work.

good point! there are many reasons...
      1. I post almost the same videos and updates on Instagram and facebook page
      2. I think I take too much time to edit the ending... but it does not help grow my cooking videos (i don't regret what i have posted in the past because i enjoyed sharing them. don't take me wrong~ i just changed my mind now)
      3. kids are growing and my daughter is sometimes not happy with the video shooting. LOL
