Great feature and as always a great video thanks Mynda! So pleased it has finally arrived on my quite locked down 365 version. On mine, the control is between the Illustrations and Charts area of "Insert"-not sure why.

very very good explanation. I couldn't know checkbox format trick. Thank you Also, I have discovered worksheet name symbols:) We can add some ordinary symbols in name section of worksheets. 🎇🎇
Mynda, your tutorials are fantastic. Can you explain how I would add checkboxes to a filtered list? So I can check off who's attended and who hasn't attended from a filtered work department list. When I tried this the checkbox remained static if an employee was removed from the original data. Thank you.
Really nice video, Mynda. I have not found out, but I wish there was a possibility to avoid selecting more then one check-box in a row. is this possible or do yuou know a work-around.
Thank you! You can check the boxes one by one with your mouse or select the single cell and press the space bar to check/uncheck it. Not sure if that answers your question, or maybe I've misunderstood.
I want to correct you at 4:02. You have to change the maximum value to manually 100% under "format all cell based on their values" option. This way, the bar will fill up according to the percentage value in the cell. If you don't do this, the bar will be based on the highest value in the column, which might not be 100%. For example, if you only choose the first option, the highest value will be 25%, and the bar will look full even if the cell value is lower.
Great Lesson. I have two checkboxes and I want that only one can be selected. It must be either YES or NO for example. Only one checkbox to be selected. If the person try to select more than one, it must not be allowed. I also wants to linked that to a %. Can it be done?
In that case you should use the original form control radio buttons which allow you to force single selection. You can then link the output of the selected radio button to a formula to calculate the percentage. If you get stuck, you're welcome to post your question and sample Excel file on our forum where someone can help you further: www.myonlinetraininghub.com/excel-forum
