Oh my god you're back! Finished the game last night but won't ever forget the documentation work you did for Inquisition. Thanks for everything you do, man.
Chest 7 does not work for me, I have lucanis and he just refuses to use his ability no matter how much I spam it, kicked him out of the party to see if rook could do it like how you did in this video, nope, doesn't work, wtf...
Well I suppose depending on what 'doesn't work for me means' it could be two things. One, if the glowing purple thing, in the air, isn't even there then you may want to just push your game along further and come back later. IF it IS THERE and you simply can't interact with it (and it isn't something silly like the angle or how close you are) then, reload from a recent auto save and/or teleport to a beacon that is NOT close by (or just go back to the Lighthouse) and then come back. I have had two different occasions in the game where no matter what I did I could not interact with the little ability markers and the above 'solutions' fixed it for me.
@MrCodeslinger already figured it out, dont know why it took me this long to realise it. Essentially once you select the ability you press tab again and it works as intended.
So... when you begin talking about chest 12, you have your map open and there's a chest just north of your quest marker. How do I get to that chest? That doesn't seem to be counted with the rest of the chests? or is that different based on what town you choose to defend (I chose Treviso)? I can't get through the door to chest 13 with your instructions and I'm practically at the end of the game. I'm confused... thanks for the help.
I really don't like to comment on stuff I haven't tested myself, so please take this with grain of salt, however, I had someone mention "that" chest you're talking about up near where you did Slow Poison and were in the Antaam garrison and where the level 25 boss demon is, is related to a quest called Murder of Crows. Again, I can't speak to the validity of that. On chest 13, as long as you've done Blood Bath with Lucanis, that whole area opens up. It is just a question of whether you go through the door to get to it while just outside the Cantori Diamond OR go the way I showed in the video, where you crawl up through the hole in the wall out near that "secret" cafe where you do the Coffee with Crows quest. Basically the door up by the Cantori Diamond is only open IF you open it from the other side, which is of course why you have to crawl through the hole in the wall (among other things) to get there. I could provide some additional "assumptions", but the above is what I know to be true about chest 13. Again, I HATE to give people any info that I haven't tested myself. Just putting random BS out there that I haven't tested isn't my thing.
@@MrCodeslinger Thanks for the detailed response! The "Murder of Crows' quest reference is correct. I'm very late game and didn't think I had any more quests for Lucanis but I just got another... that one. I'm very early in the quest and just got that chest. Hope this helps you and others.
So I am in Treviso and I am at the cathedral looking building with the huge Plaza in front of it and the large triangle windows and there is a chest inside I can't get to. Help please 🙏.
@@JessicaSeay Is it in an area you get to with a zip line and where you did Slow Poison and the Antaam Garrison quest? ...and where there is a demon to kill for a Crossroads gate quest?
@JessicaSeay Sorry I will be away from my phone for a while, if that is the one then it will just be there taunting you until later in the game when you do a quest with Lucanis called A Murder of Crows. If the chest icon looks slightly different than others then it is likely a timeless hoard chest. If it is the latter, check the video description for a link on how to find those in Treviso.
@tyllua This is for the 13 shown as collectible chests on the map counter. You will find other chests out there that turn up during quests and the such, but collecting them will not increment that counter. Appreciate the feedback though. Hope you're enjoying the game and thanks for watching!
@@MrCodeslinger no im looking to get the chest thats on the "crows road rooftops" where you also get your very first essence for the first boss in the cross roads. apparently its only accessible during lucanis companion quest, " a murder of crows"
Not random. However, some of it can be class-specific. i.e. if you hit a chest as a Rogue, it might spit out a bow upgrade as opposed to hitting the same one as a mage and it will give you an staff.

Very impressive how good this guide is. Too bad the game itself doesn't have chest numbers but this was the easiest video I found to follow.
That's very kind of you to say. I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
The absolute legend is back saving me from my struggle to find loot in dragon age games
Great work as allways
It so good to see your back m8 ty for this vid.❤
I don't even own the game yet. But watched anyway for the algorithm.
Was missing 13… thanks 🙏

Thank you
Welcome back!!
Hey, thanks Shadow!
The door is closed on chest 13, but I am at the Price of the past part?

sort of on rooftops off by itself?
