Dude thanks for this. I never played origins. Started with 2. Best it a dozen times before DAI came out. Logged over 3K hours of DAI but it’s been a while (play a ton of multiplayer tho). Needed this.
Here, let me write the script for Veilguard for you, to add to the end of the video: In Dragon Age: Veilguard, almost all of what I previously talked about is forgotten or ignored, substituted instead with random, low-IQ Marvel dialogue and the writers ham-fistedly working out their own personal modern issues while removing all choice or voice from the player.
I don't remember the first DA looking like that. It looked so much better when it was first released lol. Idk if it's only me that feels this way or not

Great job putting this together, that was super informative
I've read all the books in the last 2 months! Finishing "tevinter nights"!!!
Hell yes!! SO CLOSE TO THE FINISH LINE NOW!
amazing recap, massive appreciation from the fanbase :')
Just completed Dragon Age Inquisition Trespasser DLC finally, thank you for this story recap! I'm hoping Dragon Age 4 is good.
it wont
this was a lot more informative than i could've imagined
Oh boy the perfect video for dinner tonight!!!!
Turns out, we didn't need to know any of this stuff before playing Veilguard, because none of that matters anymore.
That's some thorough research man!! Had to watch it full
Played all the games but got lost during your mention of comics and books as there was too much info xD
I've been playing these games since 2009 beating all of them several times over . I love diving into the lore they build into these games and even I've learned some things listing to this video. Cheers man your content is gold, great video.
*Grabs Snacks* 🍿
Can there be a written guide with footnotes reminding readers about prior mentions to characters throughout the recap. Love this game series to the moon and back but this, as wonderfully detailed as it is, is A LOT.
I love this! I’ve played the games multiple times but I’ve always been missing the books/comics lore!
Yes! Thank you so much for the video! It's a great refresher before DAV comes out!!
Thanks for the video, Jack!!! Always great to see content from you!!
My pleasure! Thank you so much for watching!
1:10:57 my favorite part of the video. Timing the word unstable with a glitch from thr game
Thank you so much for this incredible Dragon Age series recap. Even though i've played them all, i still get confused on some details. lol
Same. And I have played each hundreds of times (literally my favorite series). STILL I get confused on some details. 🤣
Hahaha aww thank you so much for watching! Means a lot!
I love this content man
Thank you!!
Dude thanks for this. I never played origins. Started with 2. Best it a dozen times before DAI came out. Logged over 3K hours of DAI but it’s been a while (play a ton of multiplayer tho). Needed this.
I knew you were cooking a doozy.😏😎🖖🏿
hahah thank you so much for your patience!
Here, let me write the script for Veilguard for you, to add to the end of the video:
In Dragon Age: Veilguard, almost all of what I previously talked about is forgotten or ignored, substituted instead with random, low-IQ Marvel dialogue and the writers ham-fistedly working out their own personal modern issues while removing all choice or voice from the player.
Origins was something else, yep. Still going to buy Veilguard, tho.
Dang! You’re putting in WORK, Sir!
i love dragon age but i didnt read the comics so this is must helpful! lovely work! thank you!
Awesome recap - thank you!
Thank you for watching!
I don't remember the first DA looking like that. It looked so much better when it was first released lol. Idk if it's only me that feels this way or not
I just want October to come. I’ve played 2 and Inquisition several times over the years, but I’ll be playing Origins for the first time before Veilguard. So exciting!
picked up veilgaurd a week ago plan on watching this then jumping straight into game thank you
after all these years getting a refresher really helps, thanks!
I will play Inquisition before Veilguard tho, as I only played 1&2
