Hell yeah! That’s like T800 with a shotgun of metal setup. And that Natas pedal is sick, especially that mid shift and Grind/girth settings. Awesome video! 🔥🔥🔥
I know there are a lot of people who may disagree with me but the Fortin amps just don't do it fo rme man. Call me crazy but they sound like the vintage JCM 800 to me. While you don't get the INSANE noise floor like you do when you crank the JCM up LIKE YOU HAVE TO in order to get the tone. Where these amps excel is with the added overdrive, but I mean c'mon man. For the price of these amps combined with the AMAZING pedals Fortin offers, you'd think they could integrate a Grind and/or Hex Drive circuit in the amp circuits gain stages to truly get an all-in-one amp. Don't get me wrong, I love Fortin pedals, but I'm just not a big fan of Fortin amps man. However, I am so glad your back though bro and DAMNNNNN I love that guitar 🤘🤘
Totally get it. The price to tone ratio with these is a hard sell. You can get absolutely incredible tone with amps that are 1/4 the price, so trust me, I hear you. This was just one of those times I decided I was going to invest in something because it was a second edition of something I had previously used and loved and because this one was so extremely limited. It definitely wasn’t purchased because I can’t get similar tones elsewhere. That being said, it can get nice a and mean so it’ll definitely come in handy for some re-amping for sure. That NATAS though, amirite?! 🤘
LOL! What’s funny is I didn’t even realize I did that until after editing and publishing the video. It just happen naturally, which is probably an incredible honor for Fortin haha.
@@JeremyFoxMusic Haha, I'm sure they'll be proud once they see this video! I'm looking at getting the Natas Pedal too since I currently run an Axe Fx AX8 and I'm getting that itch to try out something new. Thanks for your awesome review!
Did you find it so difficult to try the natas on the analog amp? Why try it in an effects processor? It was logical that it would sound better on the amp
No speaker IR for Natas pedal? It sounds like there's one missing there. Granted I don't know the whole signal chain, but if I'm right it'd make the pedal sound markedly better.
I see you’re running through a capture, is it of a poweramp only or is it preamp and poweramp? Don’t own a cortex and I see knobs for gain, etc… Be cool if you can replicate this on tonex or any software. A lot of use don’t have the Cortex. Not your.. problem but you would get brownie points! (Subscribers and likes) I can’t think of too many pieces of software off the top of my head. Amp box you can use the poweramps, and Otto amps you can. Would be cool to see you experiment versus me buying it and experimenting. You’d be saving us a lot of trouble!
Thanks for watching and providing this feedback. Yes, I'm running through a clean power amp capture on the QuadCortex. However, you don't really NEED to run this pedal through a power amp. Just going straight into an impulse response loader sounds great. I showed that in this video as well, near the end. That being said, I can certainly look at putting together a follow up video showing this pedal running through some other clean power amp captures that might be more readily available to more people. 🤘
You’re awesome! Yes I did hear the pedal straight into an IR. It sounds heaps better through the poweramp. I wouldn’t buy the pedal if I heard the tone straight into IR. But hearing the pedal through the power amp has me interested. I would love to hear it through other platforms like we spoke about. Thanks man! Subscribing. I really dig your setup, your guitar and tuning and play style sounds a lot closer to mine than any other RUclipsr!
Thanks for the show!! I love fortin amps and pedals....but the prices of fortins let alone Randalls, because of the fortin name are outrageous......better of getting an orange sc100 and a used v30 cabinet...
I don’t own a 33 but yeah, that would certainly take care of the low end without needing an EQ. The thing I don’t personally like about the 33, or the Grind really, is the massive amount of top end that it adds. It certainly works well for certain things but all that added top end can end up making the tone sound scratchy and thin if you’re not careful. I’d love to try one out on this amp though, just to see how it sounds.
What a beautiful guitar 🤩

After 2 Months The King is finally back ❤
Dude that setup just ripps dude!
Blew my effin mind🤘
Thanks! 🙏
Yeah, this gear blew my mind as well. 🤯
Hell yeah! That’s like T800 with a shotgun of metal setup. And that Natas pedal is sick, especially that mid shift and Grind/girth settings. Awesome video! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks dude! Yeah, that little pedal packs a HUGE punch. I’m seriously digging it!
Heyy man! Any chance you can share the signal without the IR so I can compare it with my other amps here at home? Thanks!!

So is the Natas the Cure to Meshuggah tones without the Meshuggah amp?
@@foreverjulybass85 It's just a pedal based on the NATAS amp.
If only I could afford that there Meshuggah!!!!!!!

10:26 that face says it all 😂
LOL! It sure does. 🤘
That face at 28:00 says it all for the Natas pedal! Haha

Dunno but it doesn't sound better than a Metal Zone to me.
I like the way you chug, boy. 🤣
The kindest words anyone has ever said to me. 🙏🤘
I really love intro music, where i can found th song sir?

A bit late for the party just ordered natas . Gr8 video and gear❤
Which one you prefer the fortin ts or tempest ?
I’ve never tried the Tempest myself so I can really compare. The TS808 is insanely good though so it’s a must in my opinion.
🤘
🙌
Oooh yes! Next August Rose Amp? 😜
Thanks dude! This thing is a beast for sure and I’d love to create a plugin version of it. Maybe it’ll happen, maybe it won’t. Only time will tell.

There is. The signal is running into my computer and I’m applying an IR there. It was the same for the Meshuggah amp.
Passive insert FX loop on an amp of this caliber ? Sheesh..
Hello. Can you still buy a new TS808 or TS9 Fortin Mod ? Thank you.
Yes. godlyke.com

Is the mxr 10 band in the fx loop?
No. It’s before the TS808. Guitar > MXR EQ > TS808 > amp.

Way too much talking...
that amp just sound realy bad and the price tag is ridiculous
