    Hi Claudia, thank you so much for this video! Tamara was so brave to show her first time with a Dr Pen on video. I know how she felt the first time the Dr Pen touches her, for me it felt almost like a little electric current, but then I got used to it and now it’s no big deal. I also stamp now with my Dr Pen, thanks to your banana video, and I find there is less inflammation stamping compared to doing circles with slip which means less downtime. I have a hard time doing my forehead too, so much sneezing! Thank you for showing the neck, I was very interested in that part. I find it is more painful when I go over the thyroid area, so I wasn’t sure if I should avoid it, this was so helpful. Also, I also do a bit of my scalp at the end. A big thank you to you both!

    Well I bought the Teal A6S DR. PEN. I finally had 3 days when I had no where to go. I did my first treatment. YAY! So I started at .25 around the eyes not knowing what to expect. I have had professional Morpheus 8 treatments with massive amounts of numbing cream. As I felt more comfortable with it, I moved onto .5 and .75 on my lower face, neck and décolleté. I think with your guidance it put me totally at ease knowing how to increase depth, stamping pattern, place to begin and how to proceed. I was so pleasantly surprised at how quickly it went, pausing the proper amount of time so the needles had a chance to do their job. As my face built a tolerance and some natural numbness from the punches it went very smoothly. I am excited to try again going deeper in depth the next go around.
    Thank you so much for your video. I probably never would have ordered this and attempted it myself. You’re a blessing! 🥰😇🙏

    Hi Claudia, good to know that it's thickened your skin. I too have very thin skin so I'm going to try this again. I did it before but not sure why I stopped! Thanks for this brilliant, informative video, really inspired me to do it regularly now. I bought the Aufgeld Microneedle Pen some time ago and I think it's the same as the Dr. Pen (a cheaper version). Hopefully it's the same, I just ordered some 12 pin needle cartridges as I couldn't get anything higher. You have glowing skin 🙂

    You did a great job at helping your friend learn what to do. It's good that she didn't use the derma roller in the past as you get better results with the Dr Pen and a reduced risk of scarring, especially now you're stamping. Scarring takes longer to fade on the forehead if you've made any mistakes as it's thinner skin. Stamping over mistakes fully fixes it after a few months. The instructions tell you to drag it with diagonal left, right, down and across like a star *. You're better off with stamping so no trail is imprinted, just like you're doing. It doesn't seem to leave a trail on the cheeks, as I've said before. You have a good jawline and you're correct that it thickens the skin. Products such as sodium based hyaluronic acid stops working after about 4 days, returning the dryness to normal, thus requiring less moisturiser. That means the thicker skin is as a result of the collagen, continuing over about 6 weeks. xx

    3 days ago when Microneedling I used a 36 pin cartridge, put some hyloronic acid all over my face after cleanising then I put my Dr. Pen on .75 and 4 speed and did my forehead and temples. Then I switched to 1.0 on everything else except for underneath my eyes, and used speed 5. I wanted to see how effective it would be. Since my skin is thick it wasn’t bad. I was pink in some places but it all faded after 3 hours. I just rubbed more hyloronic acid all over my face after re washing my hands. I notice a difference 3 days later and ready to try it again. ❤

      Hi Vanessa, glad you enjoyed this! I would say for the arms, since it’s such a big area, a roller or stamp might be a bit more efficient. It seems sitting there with a Dr Pepper and stamping it will take forever. Since I do prefer the stamping technique now, I would probably go for a stamp. Dr. Finn actually has one that is adjustable in depth. So that one might work well

      I am excited for you and am looking forward to hearing about your experience. I actually started way deeper at first. Many years ago, the philosophy was deeper is better. But I have since learned that it is not necessary to go so deep. I would suggest start with 0.5mm, or even less to get comfortable. You can then stay at 0.5mm or if you feel you want to go a bit deeper, you can. But even staying at 0.5mm you will get great results.

    Thank you, Claudia, for this tutorial! I'm so glad I found you so early into my microneedle journey. I just had my second microneedling session this evening and I used a 16 needle cartridge with my Dr. Pen M8 and I stamped at 1mm, except for my forehead and under eyes. I applied HA from Cos de Baha afterwards but I find my face very tight after a while. The HA will start flaking at some point. So I'm looking to add some microneedling safe serum. I saw in another video you were testing the Reviv growth factors serum. Do you think it can be used after microneedling?
    I have one more question, I was wondering if you know/think microneedling can make your skin more reactive? Normally my skin tolerates pretty much everything without complains. I have rather thick acne scarred skin. After my first microneedling however when I returned to my normal skin care with bakuchiol at around day 4 or 5 my skin reacted with a rash, itchiness, eyes swelling (I've used these serum & cream for 2-3 months before starting microneedling). The first days I kept it simple - applied only ha, kiwi seed oil, green tea lotion and sunscreen. But after that every time when I try to re- introduce peptides and bakuchiol my skin will react. (I don't use retinol, retinal, tretinoins yet as I was breastfeeding until very recently.) So I'm not sure how to go ahead with my skin routine. Any word advice is highly welcome. Thank you again for sharing your wealth of knowledge!

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, thank you so much for your thoughtful comment.
      I am sorry to hear your skin becomes reactive after microneedling. Personally I have not experienced that, but we are of course disturbing the skin barrier and it needs time to repair.
      It might be that you need to wait a bit longer to reintroduce your regular products after a microneedling session. However a rash and itchiness seems to be more an allergic reaction than just a still slightly disturbed skin barrier. And of course we can develop and allergy to things at any time.
      Do these symptoms persist weeks after needling when you use those products? If so, I would say it is the products themselves.
      If it is just a few days after microneedling, that would say to me to wait a bit longer
      For my skin, needling at 1mm, it takes at least 6 days to be back to somewhat normal.

I bought it from a retailer but it arrived looking used and with scratches:( so I'm considering using only my medicube that uses ultrasound AND high frequency. As i have some derma fillers that melts with heat I'm a little cautious using heat (which is one of the mechanisms of high frequency as i understood it, didn't try it yet). Do you think there is a reason for using ultrasound only maybe more often (for ex the Mira ) or would you consider the medicube device just fine?

I made a video on the device, and while I liked it, I’m not convinced that she does that much. I am, however, not familiar with the.Medicine, so unfortunately, I cannot give you my opinion on it. But, I think your voice to stay away from devices, giving off heat, as we don’t know, what a day not just about filler, but also facial fat.

Although i follow your advice about microneedling and do it once a month I am wondering why some other youtubers who use 0.5 roller say to microneedling once a week. That's because it's a roller ? Roller does not go that deep as pen ? I'm really curious about this, why so much difference.Thank you ❤

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  Год назад

      Hi Maria, thank you for being here and for your kind words. So a roller goes just as deep,, But I think the idea that you can go weekly at 0.5mm is outdated. I used to do so many years ago, but I think we have learned a bit more about microneedlng now. 0.2-0.3mm is ok to do weekly, but at 0.5 we are starting to enter the dermis and we need more time to repair that damage. I hope that makes sense

    Even at 10,000 rpm, that cartridge is going in and out of your skin up and down 166 times per second. Sliding will spread those across the skin, depending on how far you move the pen. Stamping will be more effective because all those holes are in the same area.

    Thank you for this video. After much research & many tutorials viewed, I did my first medical microneedling yesterday. Did it at same depths as you Claudia. I followed your face segmentation & starting I was like "why do people want numbing cream, this is not bad". I still don't think it is needed, but was definitely a bit ouch over eyebrows, top lip & jawbone. I have been a deep acid peel user for years (Aussie sun) & microneedling is so much more comfortable & I could go out today with the slight redness remaining. A peel would have 7-9 days downtime. I would say microneedling can be a little uncomfortable but not painful. I had a little bleeding, mostly around my ex smoker lips, but once cleaned the bleeding did not restart. I look forward to seeing the results in time. This is faster too than the peel applications required for a deep peel.
    Love it & know I will continue. Thank you ❤

      Yes, microneedling can target fine lines and you can use a dr pen, a stamp or a roller to microneedle

      Hi Christina, I would be very careful with the Burts Bees lotion right after and even the day after medical needling. If you do not react to it, that is great, but ideally we do not want to use things like that after medical needling
      The copper peptides, if pure, might be ok

      @@claudiaglows Yes….I’ve been needling 15 years now. Everything works for me…C serum, CoQ10 serum, peptides, professional grade products….my skin is used to it. I’m 60 and still have no crows feet, lip lines, nothing! Best thing I ever could have undertaken!! For some of us, the pain is too great in the beginning and I remember thinking those first few times that this had to be some sort of medieval torture device😂….but I pushed through and kept going because at 44 I had wrinkles and I wanted to be proactive in how I aged and wanted to do it naturally. I’d seen the women around me getting all these fillers and Botox and it was heartbreaking to see their faces change and become a caricature of what they once were. I could see the pain in their eyes from what had been done to their faces and it just hurt me so much. My heart ached for them. Now we’ve got 21 year olds augmenting their beautiful natural faces for this cookie-cutter, idealized appearance. It’s okay to age naturally! We’ve got to show them this. My hair is silver, too! Aging IS beautiful!!!❤️❤️❤️

    Holy crap- today was my first micro needling and it HURT me! I was determined to use the .75 setting, but I couldn’t even handle it at it’s most shallow setting on any bony area (forehead especially). I’m surprised and bummed- especially since I have tattoos and don’t consider myself to be a “wimp”-lol. I’m 100% buying numbing cream before I do this again- lmao.
    Thanks for this step by step tutorial, though!! I’ll save it and try again next month (after fully numbing the heck out of my face)! 🤕

      The forehead can definitely be a bit more painful, and I often only go .5 mm on the forehead. I have also noticed that someday the depth hurts more than others, not sure what that is all about. But, there’s nothing wrong with using numbing cream. Keep me posted on how the next treatment goes.

    Every video I watch from this channel a learn a little more!
    Just a thought I had about Cosmetic Microneedling stimulating collagen production:
    As Claudia said, the "injuries" from 0.2 to 0.3 mm increase the absorption of products put on the skin right after the procedure. Following that thought, if you use for example pure Vitamin C, Peptides or any active that already have the potential for collagen stimulation, the extra push of the microneedles may in this case boost overall collagen production by the better absorption and delivery of the collagen stimulators. Does that make any sense?

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  2 месяца назад +1

      That makes me happy to hear. And you make a good point, pushing some collagen stimulating ingredients a bit deeper into the skin could potentially lead to greater collagen production

    Claudia I loved this stamping technique video. Just needled tonight. 1.75 for cheeks and neck and 0.5 for forehead.
    Quick question: so I thought that you shouldn’t put any products on except HA after *medical* needling? I did what you said though. I used my TNS Growth Factor. So that’s okay to use?
    How about my Platinum Biomax panels? Do you ever do RLT after *medical* needling?
    Thank you!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

      Hi, glad this was helpful. So you can use other things, but they need to be approved for use after medical microneedling or post procedure. I am not sure about TNS, as I have not used that one.
      And yes, RLT is great after medical needling!

    So I bought a Dr Pen A6s and used it for the first time the other day, I used Claudia's method (even said 21 each time in my mind! lol) 16 needles - 1mm, 0.5mm and 0.25mm like Claudia, also did 5 minutes of red light after. I had a tiny bit of pinpoint bleeding and right after the treatment my face felt really inflamed and sore... a couple of hours later it felt a bit dry. However by the next evening it felt like normal... no down time really. Wondering if I did it wrong.

    Hello Claudia, great video! I have some minimal lines around my eyes from smiling and some acne scars, would this be a good treatment to do for myself to minimize and improve the appearance? I’ve consulted sessions with places near my area and it’s very costly because some require several sessions over time which makes sense. My scars aren’t too deep from what I can see.

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  5 месяцев назад

      Hi, I def. think that this can help with fine lines and scars that are not too deep. If you decide to do it yourself, just be sure to not go to crazy and that you keep everything clean as well as only apply products that can be used for medical needling. I just recently uploaded a video talking more about this you might find helpful

    Hi Claudia, your video is wonderful...so helpful.
    I did ones mikroneedling in kosmetic studio and I was satisfied with the outcom.
    She used 2.5mm depth, but I don't know what kind of needles and produkt she used...
    My skin is very thick and very oily, I have komedons, open pores and acne scars.
    When I do mikroneedling myself with depth of 2mm I don't get so good results.
    I am in Germany and I can't find all products you use.
    Do you have any recommendations what should I do?
    Thank you ☺️

      Hi, thank you so much for your kind comment, I’m glad you are enjoying the videos. So I would suggest you do the stamping technique we showed here in the video. That way you will probably be able to penetrate a bit deeper and get a better outcome. You also won’t need anything to use with it. Meaning you won’t need any product. Unfortunately I’m not aware of any stem cell serums. You can purchase in Germany., But you could just try to find high molecular weight, hyaluronic acid and apply that. Again I’m sorry I’m not familiar with any of the brands available in Germany., But you want to make sure it is high molecular weight

    This was wonderful with the two of you lovely ladies. Does it help to hold the skin taut with the other hand when you stamp? Now I don't know whether to buy the Dr. Pen 6, 7 or 8 or the Stamp?????? What is your recommendation, which one would you get, Claudia?

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  Год назад +1

      Hi Valentina, I am glad you enjoyed this. As I said in this video, with the stamping I do not feel the need to hold my skin taut, but if you have a lot of loose skin you might find it beneficial.
      I answered you under a different comment as well, but if you only want to get one device and you want to use it for medical and cosmetic needling, I would get a Pen, not the stamp. I have not tried the 7, but both the A6s and M8 are great. The M8 than the A6s, and I think you would be happy with either one

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  Год назад +1

      Hi Karolin, thank you for being here. So microneedling, since it does help with collagen production, can helps some with sagging skin, but it will not be a miracle unfortunately. I think for sagging we need a multi approach, so adding LED with the microneedling and maybe some microcurrent or radio frequency. All of those can def. help, but it is time consuming and there is only so much we can do with at home devices.
