    I so often get asked which Skincare devices I use and which I would recommend. We are currently traveling and will be living out of a suitcase for the next 6 months, which means the devices are packed, are my "must-have" devices and the ones I would highly recommend.

    Your last video was hard to watch. Even if you acknowledge that, “There are worse problems in the world,” yours are completely valid. I’m so glad you were able to let out what has been causing you emotional pain; it must have been so difficult to do. I’m so happy that you were able to let it out and get support. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us ❤ and I hope your marriage will grow stronger from this point on.

      My heart hurts for you and how you’re feeling. Even though you’re going to be OK, the hurt and worry is real for you. You are right, many things are going on in the world right now, but we all have different hurts that we feel and that does not take away the pain they cause us, even though we acknowledge they’re not as horrific as some of the things people are suffering through/from right now. We all need to be understanding of everyone’s pain and acknowledge it is real for them. I definitely sent up prayers and good thoughts for you and will continue to do so.💕

    Good evening Claudia, its good to see that your feeling a little less sad. I think it was very brave of you to have been so raw and honest. It takes true strength to share such sadness and personal pain as you did. I commend and respect you even more now than I did before. Your human, you showed and expressed real love for your husband. It's s only natural your fear, sadness and unhappiness at the impending situation of being apart from one another. Never once did click bait cross my mind. Again, you aren't alone. Stay blessed ❤❤❤❤

    Hi Claudia, I'm glad you are feeling a little better. I want to share something with you. A couple of years ago one of the first videos of yours that I watched, you and your husband went to Capri. I was captivated! I said to myself I just have to go there! However, at the time, I never in my life dreamed I would be able to go to Italy but guess what it happened and I went to Capri last October and the weather was amazing too! I would never have gone there if I hadn't seen your video, truly. Of course I thought of you while I was there. Take care and I wish you the best as you navigate this brief separation. I'm in Tucson AZ, 7 hours from San Diego. Hugs to you.

    So GOOD to see you my lovely and pleased to hear you are doing okay.
    I understand what you’re saying “that there are worst things happening in the world”….
    BUT in my eyes, your feelings & sadness are still relevant regardless hon.
    You’ve lived with your husband for years and moved numerous times. These are all incredibly stressful times …so please don’t feel you cannot express yourself or give it the importance it so readily deserves….❤
    This is your life and it will affect you Claudia, and it’s okay to say you will be sad and miss him dearly…
    I’ve no doubt you will be okay because you will ensure you are - but your feelings & sadness will still be there and we have to honour & respect them…❤
    You’ve had your fair share of trauma & heartbreak in your life, so once you find your “BEST” friend, why wouldn’t you be sad to not be with them - makes absolute sense to me hon…
    Excited to see the micro needling next week, because it’s time to start doing that next…
    You look fabulous and it’s great to see you enjoying some time with your lovely husband - enjoy everyday ❣️❤️🥰

    You are so kind and humble by expressing your genuine gratitude to us all. Our reactions to your last video, speak volumes about how we feel towards you 🥰.
    I am enjoying the Ziip Halo, but am in the search 🔍 of a good red light therapy mask. Apart from the Omnilux, I am still undecided on which one to purchase. Which other would you recommend?
    And yes! I would be interested to see a video about what skincare products you have packed in your suitcase.
    Happy travels to you, your husband, and your Sam. Keep-up your beautiful energy! 🤗💗

      Thank you for your lovely comment Victoria!
      As far as LED masks, I have only tried the Omnilux and Aduro. I do really like the Aduro. It comes with 7 different LED options (most of them I never used though) and you can separate red and infra red, which is nice. Current Body has one that is also supposed to be nice, but I have not tried that one.
      I would say for the most part they are all very similar. You just need to find one that fits you well and that fits your budget.
      Sending a big hug your way

    Hi Claudia! Your skin looks the best it’s ever looked now. 🙂 What would you say has been the most effective device and/or treatment for preventing jowls? Thank you.

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Caroline, you are very sweet. Honestly, I think it just a difference in lighting. I am sitting in front of a window here, without any other lights. Usually I use a ring light since I did not have enough natural light.
      As far as jowls, I do have them, unfortunately. Not so much jowls, but as I said in this video, the hanging skin by the mouth which is referred to as periorbital folds
      I think jowls are very hard to treat and prevent since they are caused by more than one problem. Some have had good results with RF, I have not
      I am actually thinking of trying a few threads for that area. If I do, I will of course bring you along

    Great video, Claudia! Why do you continue using the Ziip Halo device when you have the Skeen Patch? I thought the whole point of spending so much money on the Skeen Patch is to avoid spending so much time using a device that doesn't allow you to multi-task. I'm just curious as to why you would need both.

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Aimee, that’s a great question. As I mentioned in this video, you definitely do not need both. I happen to have both, as I wanted to try them both for a review. And I enjoy them both. I do like using the zip, even though I have to stand there and use it. I find it so nice little self-care ritual and I like doing it while watching a RUclips video.

    I just discovered you because of your excellent info on hrt. I live in Ohio! Loveland, about an hour south of where you are.
    Being in Dayton, there are some lovely small towns and lovely countrysides close by to see even in this cold, snowy weather.
    There's great antiques shopping (ha! not like Paris though!!) in towns like Lebanon and some neat Amish areas to see.
    Hollywood is suddenly enamoured with Ohio small towns and many movies have been filmed here recently such as "Bones and All", "Bikeriders" that's coming out in June, and a new Ben Stiller movie called "Nutcrackers" is being filmed in Wilmington and other small towns.
    Hopefully you and your husband will have time for small driving trips on the weekends.

    Btw, the sound and lighting were both quite good! I think I would bring exactly the same tools if I were on a long-term trip - temporary living. I would bring my ZiiP and my doctor pen for sure. My problem is that I can’t wear the mask for red light therapy. I have to use a panel and my panel is the MITO Pro, which is quite heavy. so I don’t know what I would do about LED. I’m one of the rare people who cannot put LED that close to my skin. I break out in hives. 😥 So I think maybe I would bring my radio frequency device since I couldn’t use LED. This is one of the reasons why I want to buy Maysama’s Urchin device. It covers a lot of modalities and one handheld device. I don’t have an Oralyft yet, but if I get that I would definitely include that. By the way, your skin looks really good.

I’m so glad you mentioned micro current shouldn’t be set to strong , I was using my MAYSAMA urchin on about level 3 and my muscles were really twitching and I sort of thought it was a good thing that I could take it but it literally left a big fat bruise on my cheek . I don’t have the zip so I would take my urchin and I have a Mito red light panel but it’s heavy . I would definitely bring my aqua pen and derma rollers I still love them and of course my oralift & glow pillow . I would like to get a red light mask but I would want the choice of red or blue light . I would love to know what skin care & supplements you brought along . Enjoy your stay at mom in laws . ⭕️❌❣️

      Glad to hear you are using your M8. I agree, it is not necessarily comfortable, but so worth it.

    I have the same problem with the OMNILUX mask. I do not like the double straps. I also have a narrow face so the lower strap goes behind my neck. It is very annoying. I recently purchased the Adora mask and that one has one strap, and 11 different light settings. Which I am loving. It has red, and combo red & near infrared light, green, blue, yellow, purple, white, and mixture combination. My next purchase is going to be a Mito panel because I have had 5 spinal surgeries and could truly benefit from the healing properties. I truly like the Aduro mask much better than the Omnilux. I am going to give my daughter in-law the Omnilux mask.

    Hi Claudia, I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. I wanted to suggest getting a second medical opinion to see if you can join your hubby. I have some of those devices, like the mask, but I'm a bit lazy to use them. I'm considering the Oralift, but I'm unsure. Have you tried the cheaper one on Amazon? Have a great day, and thanks for the great video!

      Thank you for replying Claudia . I'm 58 and I have similar skin tone and hair colour to you, however life hasn't been kind and I am struggling with lip lines , the dreaded jowls/ nasolabial around my mouth and the beginnings of a wrinkle neck, my self esteem and confidence isn't great. I'm extremely self conscious and having to wear masks during Covid was actually a blessing for me to hide my face !
      However, I have just purchased the eyelash serum on your recommendation, as I know, like me, you thoroughly research everything. I feel at least I am doing something , hoping to dazzle people with my eyes so they don't notice my mouth! Two years ago I invested in the Nuface Mini, which was costly for me but I thought I would give it a go ,which I did every day for 10 months . But it made my face look gaunt, I was losing what little fat i had on my face , so I stopped using it as it was making the jowls and jaw look worse not better ! So now I am looking again at a derma roller . I don't want to a buy a really cheap one for obvious reasons , but I would be interested in an affordable good one as I know they are disposable . So if you have any recommendations ,that would be great . I've always looked after my skin and always use sun cream so that has been helpful. You look amazing and so natural , I like how your videos are so clear, calm and gentle ( no awful music and fast chatter !!) Thank you again for all that you are doing for us aging women ❤️

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  8 месяцев назад

      I can completely understand. I have those lip ines and jowls as well :(. But, microneedling can help some. It will not do wonders, but it can help improve things. I would however suggest to get a microneedling device such as the Dr Pen instead of a roller, It is an initial investment, but then you only need to get cartridges instead replacing the roller every 10 or so uses. It is more versatile as well, as you can adujst the depth, which you can not do with a roller. Lastly I find it less painful than using a roller. That being said, if you still want a roller, Gin Amber sells quality rollers.
      Thank you for your very kind words, I am really happy you are here Claire

    I think it's safe to say we all feel the same way about you as you do us, and friends share. We care. With that being said, you covered quite a bit in this video. I love my Omni Lux, but wish they would have put lights above the upper lip. And yes, the bottom strap is too loose. I have to hold it to my face. I also have the Oralift but always seem to forget when to use it. I'll have to figure something out to help me remember because, as you said, it is worth the effort. I have the A6 pen and usually microneedle when I am not doing tca peels. My question would be, how do you fit in tca and medical microneedling. I try to peel in the fall and winter and microneedle in the spring and summer. I am also loving my ziip! Take care ❤

      Hi sweet Sara, thank you, as always, for your lovely comment.
      As far as the aduro mask, I think it is a great mask, and if it still works, you do not need the Omnilux. The differences are that the Aduro is a 20 minute treatment vs Omnilux is 10. Also of course the Aduro has all the other colors and you can seperate red and infra red, which I think is great.
      Lots of love

    All the best on your journey, Claudia. One quick question about oralift.
    The treatment guide I have says that after an initial 4 months on and 4 months off, it should be 2 months on , 4 months off, and on and on..
    You said 1 month on 4 months off.
    Did the company change their recommendation ?

    It's good to know you're safe. My mum also enjoys watching your videos. I hope that chiming thing can be silenced for when you're sleeping. To keep you going for the time being, I recommend a near infrared flash light/lamp in addition to your LED mask. If I were living out of a suitcase, I'd also bring an infrared lamp and a Dr Pen. I'm looking forward to you explaining the latest model and first thought it was the M8, but now know it's an M8S (I was unaware of the update). Another thing I'd bring is the Plasma Pen. Maybe this is something you could do if you can hide away from others while you heal due to the redness and downtime. Then again your dog will need regular walks, so the marks can be camouflaged. I'd also pack a home needle free electrolysis device and home IPL for hair removal.

      Hi Kevin, thank you for your kind comment. Sorry about the wind charms, I did not realize how loud they were until I edited the video.
      What would you use the near infra red flashlight lamp for?
      I actually have a plasma pen, but yes, the downtime is one of the things that holds me back from using it. That and fear :)
      Please give your mom my love

      @kevinhanley6462 9 месяцев назад

      @@claudiaglows I'll pass on your love to my mum. I was thinking of you when mentioning the wind charms: as long as you have control over them so they don't keep you awake. I find them interesting to listen to and can fixate on things at times. I'm more troubled by loud sounds and that's why don't have Christmas crackers due to sensory overload! Haha! The infrared lamp is very handy for injuries and inflammation: it makes it heal faster. I'd expect it to do a better job than the mask, but would make your arm(s) ache, so you'd be getting a workout as well. It seems to work better after 10 minutes so you have to activate the 5 minute timer twice, doing slow rotations over the area in need and in full contact. If you overdo it, it could make the area a bit sore. It's very good at stimulating the scalp and feel it working more than the HALO hair stimulation laser found in clinics if you don't mind the extra effort than a helmet. It stimulates collagen, so would be suitable for facial rejuvenation. It's warm like the sun and gets deep into the tissues. Whether it'd break down Botox and fillers, it's unlikely. As for biostimulators, you should be okay and might even enhance the results by working together, rather than against it. Things that heat up at high temperatures are what destroy fillers, such as HIFU and RF.
      To help with your fear of the Plasma Pen, practice on a banana skin or a citrus fruit: the burning smell is very interesting! To play it safe and when ready, do a series of small dots on a low setting, going over it once or twice only on stretch marks on the thigh. It should look pale pink and be strict with not allowing the sun. Using Adapalene within 24 hours will help prevent hyperpigmentation from melanin production. It can look like it's gone but can come back, so needs to be done 2 or 3 times 6 - 8 weeks apart. With deeper treatments, moisturising afterwards is beneficial and using sunscreen. x

      @@claudiaglows Maybe us intelligent people are more prone to sound and bright light, but we're selective as what fun loud sounds are at a rave and strobe lights! It makes sense to us what we zone into but also don't want! When practicing your Plasma Pen treatments on a poor innocent banana skin, have a plan ready. Imagine you're vaporising a mole so your settings would be medium or full. You can go in dots with left to right, overlap with up and down, then circles from the outside working inwards. Now: imagine tattoo removal! Turn down the power and go over the outline of an imagined tattoo with a regular mole needle as an acupuncture needle would make someone bleed as it cuts the skin doing too many outlines and risking hypopigmentation. Think how lasers are gentle, so replicate how they get the inks out. Once skilled and using it for a year, scars (tricky!) go around it and check angles, check for indentations and remove the skin to make it level. It disguises the scar and blends in by checking out the indented skin and removing some of the good skin nearby and becomes camouflaged. The scar you went around becomes softer and flatter. The fractional tip is useful for going in the middle and requires a dabbing action. Lip line removal is amazing! A low setting, left to right and right to left until you're at the base of the line. Go over it 2 or 3 times with a gentle setting. Be 2 mm at each end before and after the line. Repeat 3 times throughout the months and they'll completely disappear without a trace! xx
