If you haven't fixed your MDX or Still have it. The problem is in the back gate of your SUV. Open up the back gate, there's an access to the fuse box on the left side. Once you pop open the access cover, you will see the fuse terminal with two long slot connectivity below it which is responsible for all your instrument lights such as turn signals, display screen, lock switchs, SH-AWD, Hi/lo beam, etc. Its the top one you need to undo which will trip a security timer when you unplug it. The security timer will cancel after a while and your instruments will fire back up. The culprit to the problem is moisture and water is dripping into the box causing liquid shorting which sounds like a static noise and over time, it can wear those connecting pins out and they can break. I am 100 Percent sure thats the problem because it was mine also. 2008 Acura MDX. The water leak comes from warned out seals around the gate and elsewhere. I put a plastic box to cover it from the top and halfway down so water can't drip into it. I haven't had one problem with it since and its been two years ago.
