Your channel is among the very best resources on general electronics anywhere. I think what I love most is your patient breakdown on how things work and the detailed explaination on such a wide variety of electronics. Your channel is one of the few places I can satisfy my appetite for learning and discivery. You are making me better with nealry every single video. It must be gratifying to know this is true for thousands of other people all over the world too. Blessings!
Very good explained. Let me mention additional: Before testing DC relais with external power, one should take care if there is any fly back diode (not the case here). If so, polarity is important, otherwise diode could be damaged.
Videos and great explanation my friend. I speak fluent French and English with English being my first language and let me say you use better terminology than I do!! Love your videos my friend. All my respect from Houston texas
I know with your guidiance I can solve this problem, brother , only I request you not to get tired of me . Thanks let almity God bless you and provide you with more knowledge. For I like your trachings without you I wouldnt be knowing the little I have managed to grasp.
I finish replaced all 4- IGBT. After I powering my machine, power is good without a light of error indicator, but when I touch the torch to the ground the IGBT are blown again. Any recommendations to check parts is appreciated!
Yes mr haseeb thanks for the good service your offering us infact since I started watching your videos , l have got a great inmprovement in repairing work more especially on smps units. Now I have got a challenge , theres a welding machine am trying to repair (arc 400, DC inverter arc welder mos), on no load voltage at the terminals and on the display is OK (78v dc) and current on the display varies very well when the current nob is turned. But now on trying to weld, it sparks once at the electrode and voltage drops or disappears instantly but current remains displaying on the meter I don't know what could be the cause of this. Thanks
I have tried but the problem has persisted and also the open circuit indicator is indicating open circuit I don't know what component could be causing this.
you are specialist electronic sir well done just on arc 200 they have two ntc thermistors one ptc thermistor one relay and 4 capacitors can you explain and on this circuit or is the same ?
5:34 - Another way to distinguish the positive terminal of a bridge is to note the direction of both AC pins and the negative terminal pin are the same and the positive pin is turned 90 degrees.
SirJi, my model do not have relay and NTC. Pls suggest me some fuse or circuit breaker for input protection from high voltage and subsequent hi amp draw. My unit inrush current is 48 amps.
Maray sub bohat kam hu rahy ha..i think roz 15 frnd banty han.phir kam hu jaty han..kio nahe batata..ap help kar sakty hu k utube ke kio new police aie ha tuu..shid hamy na pata hu
Hi bro actually I have tried to adjust the trimpot just the way you told me to do, but problem has persisted and also the machine is indicating open circuit at the open circuit indicator, I don't know what components could be causing this problem
sir i have a question regarding my welding machine capacitors the value are 450 volts 1500 microfarad but the test reading now are 1310 and 1315 microfarad may i know if they are still good . thank you
yes dear these are acceptable, most of time if we test this provide marginal readings, but if these selected using ESR meter then we can verify the ESR value.
Haseeb Bhai. Assalamualaikum. Can I convert igbt welding machine into a 12v 500A rectifier for electroplating. If yes kindly guide me. Jazakallah Khair
Assalm alekum sir is circuit ko battery charger Mai kese use Kar sakte Hain SG 3525 ic wala circuit bhee use ho or amp vr bhee use ho please help me sir
Fine explanation but I think the purpose of the relay used here is that when power is switched on the capacitors should not be charged directly with 230V ac. Because if someone switches the machine on then off then on again. There could be a disaster and the capacitor could blast because it could hold voltage for some time. So the manufacturer placed a relay here to protect the capacitor. However, when welding will be started the relay will go on to provide the necessary current and will bypass the resistor. Summary: The purpose of the relay is to protect big capacitors from blasting.
@@HaseebElectronicsthank you so much.. your videos are amazing i'm trying top figure out how to send it through whatsapp hahah but for now this is the link of the yt video ruclips.net/video/899W9WoHnyU/видео.html power is on screen flickers then a light touch on the board and it starts second video is with mig gun connected , someone suggested it is a,fault in the relays but they are hard to replace without special equipment i only have a soldering iron and a multimeter ruclips.net/video/XBiRmH0k1Fs/видео.html
initially the current flows throuh PTC or NTC to charge the capacitor to a specific voltage level (if we don't use ptc or ntc, may be it will blast the capacitor or may be it will damage the bridge) . then the low voltage power supply starts and it operates the bypass relay. so relay allows the full current flow to the next circuit and the ntc / ptc is bypassed
@@HaseebElectronics I understand, Some models I have observed that they do not incorporate relay or NTC but keep 6 to 8 good company Rubycon high capacity capacitors what is your opinion on this design.

Thank you my friend! I like to learn about inverter welding machines as they are sometimes coming for repair.
I have a different welder but the explanation helped me a lot. Thanks!
Nice video
Peace be upon you, Ustad. Is it possible to control the voltage coming out of the inverter welding machine? May God increase your knowledge
Thank you for your fully educative and versatile videos, that even a beginner can follow! Not many videos like these in youtube.
very nicely explained, true teacher.
Many thanks

please check the control card. might be its over current limit is misadjusted. you can try by adjusting trimpot on the PCB

Why NTC burnt quick after power on relay olso not working
What are the reason burnout NTC?
please check video number 625 on NTC PTC failure
What is the purpose of relay. If current directly pass after bridge what is the disadvantage.
