I absolutely love the way this painting turned out! The colors are beautiful! I love Fall and I’m definitely going to give this a go! Thank you Diane for sharing your talents with us!❤
I’m following along this morning…including the cup of tea! Needless to say, I put my brush in my tea cup!! Had to pause the video to clean up the resulting mess!!! Leaves turned out OK though.
Here where I live we don’t have any autumn colors until much later because it’s mainly oak and they stay green until November or later in this climate. So I have to make it up really!
You are definitely my favorite watercolor artist! I never think I can’t paint what you are showing us because your instructions are so well shown! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us! You make a big difference in the world!!!
I found a little garden in the children's ward of the hospital where I waited the 4 hours for my husband's surgery to be finished. I sat in the warm sunshine, listening to the children playing, and painted these leaves with you, Diane. Thank you
I just love these leaves, Diane. I'm definitely going to try the scratch in method for the veins. My favorite season is Fall and I love everything about it (except the occasional rain that forces the leaves to fall before they are ready😒 Thank you for painting so beautifully❤🧡💛🤎 XOXOJANE P.S. I use a Uni eraser called a Super Eraser which makes erasing easy for me. Try it!
The watercolor pencil is a great idea. I just have the ordinary ones, not intense, but it will solve a problem in my painting of coneflowers! Thanks for the tip!
Really beautiful. Thank-you. Have really enjoyed seeing all your dogs, sheep, chickens ++ and wonderful land in your recent videos. Just so relaxing and I am soooo jealous!!!! SE London just isn't Brittany 😊Have only been water colouring for a year or too but have painted so much that I love inspired by your tutorials so thank you so much for you time, talent and generosity xxx
It was really fun watching this… you kept me company while I was on the treadmill! Even though it’s spring where I live, I have to give these autumn leaves a go! The colours are beautiful. Thanks for the continued inspiration.
THANK YOU - I can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos! Fun, easy (well, at least you make it look that way:) and best of all - perfect for the season! Now I just need to figure out how to do a crow and a branch with wild berries - maybe you could feature those soon:). You really are a genius - no fear - no pressure - just a miraculously easy-to-understand, logical path to create soul-satisfying art. Thanks to your relaxed approach I always feel like I just received another much-needed confidence boost. Received my first sketch pad today - so this looks perfect for practicing with my first set of watercolors. I'm playing with acrylic brush pens, my current favorite:). I'm giving everything a try. Love the glitter gel pens too. Colored pencils always appear to be a bit dull and I'm not comfortable with regular acrylic paint yet, still practicing off and on. Anyway, just another old lady here enjoying my big garden complete with a Habitat for butterflies and birds, snakes, raccoons, squirrels, dragonflies (we have a ditch) tons of herbs, lots of tropicals since I live in Florida. For the past six months, I've been playing with paints, stencils, mixed media. Now I want to start a Nature Journal photography/sketch book. One thing always leads to another, n'est pas. I'm trying to do my part for Mother Nature but this month I'm using a coloring book called "Grim Gardens" to create Halloween/All Souls/Day of the Dead/macabre art - unfortunately no crows:) just eerie ethereal garden scenes, a variety of skulls/skeletons with dead branches or flowers , cool dead beetles - my next project. Dark Academia art - for the season or longer. Oh, and you mentioned someone used a real leaf to help them paint - yup that's me too. We are all so lucky to have the time, leisure and wherewithal to create not just art but enjoy life. Art and nature take my mind off most any pain and always lift my spirits - how wonderful is that?!
Hi and thanks so much for your lovely message! I’m so glad you enjoy the videos and get so much out of them! It means a lot to me, believe me. I am familiar with Florida having vacationed there and lived in the Bahamas so we went back and forth, and I know how your wildlife is so rich and everywhere! I remember once taking our dog for a walk and being warned by a friendly local not to go outside the dog park because of the wild animals on the other side of the fence! Thanks again for your interesting comment, and wishing you much happiness and good health, hugs, Diane xxx
@@DianeAntoneStudio Oh yes, little dogs are a favorite Alligator snack:). I do envy your lovely spring flowers in France, just missed seeing Monet's garden on my last trip. My biggest joy is that I found seeds for Forget-Me-Not's that grow in my area, alas our weather is too hot so I always only get one annual spring planting. Good health and happiness to you too:).

Thank you! Love this.
Loved painting autumn leaves. We don’t have oak leaves here but there are maple trees which are just beginning to change. ❤
Isn't it nice to be inspired by the seasons. This is just beautiful Dianne. It sure did catch my eye. Karen from Canada. ☺☺☺☺💖💖💖💖
It sure is! I missed the oak trees when I lived in Calgary!

😂 😂😂!!!
Very pretty. We're not getting much coloration this year because we've been in a drought. At least artists can make their own!

Beautiful, love how all the colors are blending together. ❤

Thanks so much Diane! I was hoping you would do a fall leaf tutorial….can’t wait to try this! Gorgeous as always ❤
I could go out and pick a few leaves up, here in central NY, USA. I hear your pet…so cute

Diane, I love the Craftsmo brushes I sent for on your recommendation. Especially #6 brush. They hold paint and distributes it smoothly.
That’s great to hear Ruth, so glad you are pleased with the brushes x
