Get video! I have a set of Lincoln cents I have worked on since around 1972. Only missing 1909-s vdb, and 1914-d. I have found lots of varieties as well. I really wish I had kept count of total searched. Keep the faith, it’s great entertainment.
Awesome hunt, Rob! I, too, am working through a great box of pennies at work. Only have a handful of rolls left to open, but this latest box has produced 39 wheat cents so far, the oldest being a 1929 and 1937. Also came closer to finding a solid serial number note than ever tonight! One register had a $20 bill, serial number 11111142. So close!!
Hi Rob - I think I have watched maybe 3/4 of Your coin roll hunting videos and they're GREAT...back in the '60's there were lots of silver coins and Wheat Cents everywhere, every day in regular change. I collected Cents in the old blue Whitman folders and I had two of the 1909-1940 ones filled up by 1968 and I still have them. So, I just watched Your video of You opening up the roll sent to You by Jim C. ...You know Your wheaties/other coins, no doubt. So I wanted to tell you something and ask You a question: My old pal is coming from Chicago for all the Holiday stuff, We talked on the phone and coins were mentioned. Apparently there was an arcade/amusement park in Flint, Mich. that closed or was destroyed by fire or weather in the late 1950's. I'm not at all computer savvy, but I looked up some info on that place and it was called Flint Amusement Park and closed in 1957. My Friend's late Dad bought up many boxes of smaller cartons of these rolls. My buddy gave Me one of these full-size rolls and a 25c half-roll years ago which I am looking at right now (STILL unopened). One roll is labeled "Jubilee Arcade" (don't know what state it was in) and the other is from the place in Flint, Mi. I talked to a "Coin Conservationist" Who told Me that these rolls are worth a lot more if UNOPENED. Uuhh, WHAT!?!?! I asked My buddy to bring more rolls and sell them to Me if He still had them so I could finally open one. He said YES He will. He has made jokes about those cartons, telling Me "that's My retirement"...He's already retired. He told Me when His Dad left Him those boxes, there was 1 or more damaged or broken rolls, but He's not a coin guy so He gave the loose pennies to His Daughters. They are all grown up now and probably those coins have vanished. Sorry to be so long winded, but that's only the half of it. If You have read up until now and don't mind, I can tell You the rest of the story. Please get back to Me if You can find the time. Thanks very much. -Uncle Bud
Hey Rob. Maybe a dumb question but what is the significance of copper pennies? I assume only the copper value. Are there certain dates? Thank you for the videos I really enjoy them.
i hunted $10 of customer rolled pennies today and it was a memorial cents collection dump. i did get a few wheat pennies but a lot of them were copper memorial cents!
Been a stacker off and on for a while, decided to try hunting pennies and I am addicted, 2 boxes down and 29 wheat pennies (last box had 2 doubles and a triple roll) and being in Maine, quite a bit of canadian, even a couple George pennies. Also ordered your penny mat, mine is a laminated one and slippery.
Awesome wheat penny hunt congratulations on getting 5lbs and 1 oz copper pennies I opened a roll of pennies at work I had a wheat penny ender first for me thanks for sharing Rob
I think I found a collection dump, I'm 12 rolls in and I have already found 23 wheat cents. Edit: Just finished the box 80 wheat pennies total, lots of different dates/mints
Hey Mr Rob! Would you be keen to doing a little video on how you got to connect your microscope to your screen? I recently got one like this and downloaded the app but it didn't work
Rob, this may seem like a silly question, and I apologize for my lack of knowledge, but why don’t all the mints produce the same number of coins? Wouldn’t it just be easier if they all did?
Rob, sorry if this is a dumb question but, why do you save specifically the copper cents? I get that the copper is worth more than 1 cent but I imagine you don’t melt them down
I have 5 gal buckets and penny-filled half dollar boxes tucked away in spaces throughout my condo. If I were to die, people would be periodically discovering caches coins for years lol.
I feel like I won this week I found a online estate auction that had collectable toys and coins there was many Morgan and peace and ike dollars also a few nickel albums one did have everything from 1938-64 i was bidding on a 1909s non vdb and a 1931 s there was two 1909s vdb but I didn't have funds to bid on those they sold for 950 and 550 respectively i won my 1909s for 48 dollars in probably fine to very fine condition one less tough coin to get.hopefully i can get the 1931s within a year along with 1914 d
@Mr_Glitchxs4 it was a bunch of really old toy cars and trucks and farm stuff I can't remember the details as nothing caught my eye that would have made me look closer
So there must have been a massive collection dump. Yesterday i picked up 1 bag, 1 brinks, 1 loomis, and $5 in customer. All of them are loaded with wheat cents. 1 customer roll had 47 1920s.
Have you found the 1992 D Close AM cent yet? If not, I'll be selling one I found recently at the next Grapevine Coin Show. Had it slabbed & certified by ANACS at the Nov Grapevine Show. If you would like it for your next PCGS submission, let me know.

I always love the penny hunts. Thanks Rob.
Congratulations finding wheat cents. I enjoy your hunt and fill series. Nice video.
Hey Rob. Maybe a dumb question but what is the significance of copper pennies? I assume only the copper value. Are there certain dates? Thank you for the videos I really enjoy them.
Can't get mad at that hunt, Rob!
Still a great video Rob, thanks for the great content my friend 👍
I've found over a dollar in DIMES penny roll hunting... very common.. cool😊
i hunted $10 of customer rolled pennies today and it was a memorial cents collection dump. i did get a few wheat pennies but a lot of them were copper memorial cents!
Today i went metal detecting at the playground and i found a penny from 1907!
Thank you.
Found my first Indian Head cent the other day. A 1907. Cool .. 👍
Penny hunts are fun. So many opportunities to score something. Found a slick 1913 D today at work myself.
I picked up 2 boxes yesterday 58 wheatys what a hunt!
I just did a 2 box hunt and got a 1909 VDB! Too bad it wasn't the s mint....
Had 2 good boxes myself lately. One had 52 wheats the other 48. Some oldies and a plain 1909 but no key dates
Good luck.
1950-D keeps mocking you with nickels by taunting you with other coins 😁
Fun hunt, Rob!

Love the retro intro
Cool, good luck, hope you find some more additions for your album
Awesome wheat penny hunt congratulations on getting 5lbs and 1 oz copper pennies I opened a roll of pennies at work I had a wheat penny ender first for me thanks for sharing Rob
got two box of nickels yesterday did one of them very show not a lot finds but I got a 39 D
Another fun hunt! Rob, as usual 🤓👍
That second box had to be at least part of a collection dump. Really fun video today.
The old 1950d wheat cent...curses
Another great hunt Rob, a lot of wheat backs and finding a dime in the hunt also a bonus.
Nice! Great to see the teens represented. Looking forward to seeing your next hunt!
Good stuff
Great finds 😮
Always tough Rob! Always fun!
great hunt lots of wheat finds was a fun hunt
Nice bunch of finds. Love album hunt and fill!
Nice hunt!
Thanks!
Good video.
I would love to get that many wheat cents in two boxes. Keep the videos coming!
I think I found a collection dump, I'm 12 rolls in and I have already found 23 wheat cents. Edit: Just finished the box 80 wheat pennies total, lots of different dates/mints
VERY NICE!
Wild that you're so close to a MILLION cents!! Keep the fun videos coming
I just recently opened a chase bank box and had over twenty wheaties and a bunch of canadians
10 days on the shipping for the penny mat😮
Yep. Holiday season shipping can suck. Dang USPS 😤
Hey Mr Rob! Would you be keen to doing a little video on how you got to connect your microscope to your screen? I recently got one like this and downloaded the app but it didn't work
3rd box ever hunted and I found a steel penny!
RFT cent hunt lets go!
Please keep hunting pennies. $10,000 is just a good start. I like to watch you find treasure in penny boxes.
It's nice still being able to find 100+ year old pennies in circulation
Welcome back OG intro!!!

All right… Go RFT
Got a question!!! How do you store your copper pennies???? Totes? 5gal buckets? 🪣 do you roll them????? Let me know!!!! Thanks!!! Maby on a video???
He made a short on it about a year and a half ago
I have 5 gal buckets and penny-filled half dollar boxes tucked away in spaces throughout my condo. If I were to die, people would be periodically discovering caches coins for years lol.
@@JJJRRRJJJ55 gal.barel drum
out of my two jar coin collection i only found one wheat penny
You know your a coin roll hunter when you have dreams about it.🙄🤪
What do you do with all your copper? Do you save it? If so how many tons do you have?
I feel like I won this week I found a online estate auction that had collectable toys and coins there was many Morgan and peace and ike dollars also a few nickel albums one did have everything from 1938-64 i was bidding on a 1909s non vdb and a 1931 s there was two 1909s vdb but I didn't have funds to bid on those they sold for 950 and 550 respectively i won my 1909s for 48 dollars in probably fine to very fine condition one less tough coin to get.hopefully i can get the 1931s within a year along with 1914 d
I collect old toys like ertl and tonka what toys did they have?
@Mr_Glitchxs4 it was a bunch of really old toy cars and trucks and farm stuff I can't remember the details as nothing caught my eye that would have made me look closer
@Mr_Glitchxs4 there was ertyl green light auto world and more even some were Gulf gas vehicles road legends road signature
The 1914-d is a tough find indeed!
So there must have been a massive collection dump. Yesterday i picked up 1 bag, 1 brinks, 1 loomis, and $5 in customer. All of them are loaded with wheat cents. 1 customer roll had 47 1920s.
I'm working on a recap & I found a dime in one of my rolls also.
I've been hunting pennies and my last 4 boxes have been all new uncirculated 2022s or 2023s. Does that happen to you often Robfindstreasure?
For whatever reason I find dimes pretty often while hunting bank machine wrapped rolls of pennies.
If you never find the 1943-D steel cent in your roll hunts, I would just take it from a previous coin lot.
Boom?
Yes, BOOM! 💥
Rob found 2 San Francisco 49ers
Can you imagine if the dime found was a silver? 😂
That would be awesome!
Rob found a Canadian silver dime once!
@@calzonemaniacsvideocorner0804
I found four last week in a box
Happened to me. It was a 10 pc french coin. 50% silver. Customer wrapped rolls
I did find a silver dime in a roll of quarters, so wilder things do happen.
Pennies 👍

Why keep 1959 penny? They are not wheat.
No actual reason but why not
1955 Philly wheat had a doubling in the one and in liberty🤯😮
stop the series when you accually complete it legit. I want to know how long it takes you for the sake of doing science.
I found 7 dimes in one machine wrapped box. Also a panamanian cent. Twas a good box
