I’m so sorry for a stupid question. I’m looking for a permanent solution for my 3c hair. Why can’t faux locs be permanent? Why can’t I loc the two types of hair together and then simply let my hair continue to grow longer from my scalp? And slowly cut off the faux locs from the bottom up as it becomes too long.
Yes it matters, it won’t turn out the same or well tbh, I understand that to be the pattern for other faux locs but this is the pattern that I use for mine

Most of the time they are to be too tight because they’re meant to be mature extensions and mature locs don’t have gaps enough to feed your hair through
Yes you can use the interlocking needle and loc your hair within it if you would like! That way your hair can be any length for permanent extensions rather than the short requirement typically

Would it matter if you just started your hair as a braid then twisted down instead of twist braid twist?
