- HEY, GUYS HERE'S A QUICK STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL ON HOW TO CROCHET FAUX LOCS ON NATURAL HAIR. I don't do all my faux locs the same size or length. Edit: I did it!!! Been rocking it for a almost 3 weeks now, unfortunately my first attempt wasn’t so great cus I had difficulty with the amount of space to leave for the looping so on my second attempt I skipped that step and it still turned out amazing!!!!!

Does interlocking it make a hard to remove knot? I know this video is over a year old, hopefully I get a response lol.
Glambitious no it comes out like a two strand twist, If there’s a lot of buildup u can simply add some conditioner and roll the knot till u find the center then push through. Simple, easy and effective.

I am a little confused by the wrapping, how are you ensuring the hair doesn't unravel without burning it? By the way, excellent job! I am going to try this method next time.
Brittani Wiles the hair I used was very nappy and thick, by wrapping a few strands onto the previous flip will prevent it from unraveling. yes but you don't have to. 1 pck of expression braids can do it.

I loved this perticular tuitorial..but how do you undo the hair, especially after tightening the roots with a crothet needle?
flipper ** check out the beginning of the video 0:13 -1:20. If you want to keep it in for more than one month and you do get a lot of buildup, get a cheap bottle of conditioner ,put it on the buildup and about 10mins after it’ll be soft. Don’t worry about the interlocking process I promise you it comes out like a 2 strand twist. ** check out my HOW TO REMOVE BUILDUP VIDEO**

Your locs are just lovely! Do you think this method could be done on fine hair, and have skinnier locs?
Yes it can, do the partings a little bigger. Add more hair to the base braid, then just follow the method in the video. The loc will be a little bigger and look full. Do the locs different lengths, and sizes.
Do the long ones the size in the video.
Do most of them a little bigger and shorter than the long ones
Do a few shorter and a little bigger in center of your head.
*YOU CAN USE ALOE VERA ON UR EDGES EVERYDAY OR ON WASH DAYS
