Hi Ernie, what sewing machine do you use? And is there an alternative about $200? Thanks for showing us the conversion!

Ernie, why are you always my favorite??? Wait, is that giveaway not still going on...?

Dang. Buying the webbing with shipping is going to cost almost $15.
Any way you would offer 60” of webbing shipped for way less than that?

Is it safe to open the gate on a weighted Carabiner in order to attach this back band? If not is there a method that you would suggest. Thank you for your reply.

We recommend you open the gate when your lineman belt is still attached.

We'll have to get back to you on the exact number. It's light to medium duty webbing.

Lights Out Adventures I believe it's 3/4. I just took my gen1 out to modify.

Good video. But you should assume every viewer is a complete noob (like me) when you make these tutorials. A quick little sequence at the beginning showing the old item, how it's used, its "flaws", and why someone might want to do this conversion, would be helpful. Then after the conversion, show how the new version of the item works in comparison to the old, what problem it solved, etc. This video is helpful, but a little incomplete for me. I'm damn near 50 and trying to talk myself (and a couple buddies) into this saddle idea, which is a little daunting at my age. So every detail matters. I wouldn't assume everyone (or anyone, really) knows what you're talkin' about. Just some friendly constructive criticism. Thanks!

Mike Witty I like so much what Ernie has done that I will soon be posting a video on converting the Aerohunter back band to go thru the carabiner.. the video does show u why because I have had the prusik sting fall off my bridge... Ernie thanks again for showing me this at Deerfest 2019.

I get it. It does "show u why" if you're already familiar with the products and the pieces and the methods, and so forth... or in short, if you already have experience. I do not (yet). I have narrowed my interest down to the Tethrd line of products (I'm ordering a tether to use with my regular stand hunting set-ups). I trust those fellas over at The Hunting Public and I enjoyed the 45-minute video they did with Aaron. Anyway, I'm not trying to make this all about me. My critique is ONLY positively and respectfully, to help remind these guys that established Tethrd customers aren't the only ones watching their videos... AND you never know when someone is watching their first "saddle hunting" video ever... it just might be this one. So I just think it's wise to make that assumption that with every video they shoot to some degree (or by linking to other videos that might help further explain the point, etc.). A good rule of thumb is... tell/show your audience what you're gonna say, why you're gonna say it, then say it... THEN, tell them what you said, and why you said it. I'm sure this is a really cool, important, necessary, mod... I just have no idea why (yet).
