- Farm yard pest control with the slingshot. A local dairy farmer
Has a feral pigeon problem so he was more than happy for me and a friend of mine to blast some out of his sheds and crows around the area. I'm shooting my gzk mini hammer with 0.62mm thick gzk bands cut at 23mm to 17mm shooting 8mm steel. Thank God the UK pigeon ban doesn't affect northern Ireland
We the took the 4x4 off road around an old abandoned quarry and shot a few Rabbits. Hope you enjoy the vid

Just for interest: Do the rabbits die by the slingshot when you hit them properly? Or do you have to kill them after hitting them? If so, how do you best end it? Just breaking their neck? Because I can't see any blood.
Trauma from the round can do it! Kind of just turns insides into mush but rabbits stiffen up if you get em good

In my country (El Salvador) in the 1980's teenagers would shoot down birds in mid-fight 100-ft high with slingshots. Of course the slingshots were totally different than this one in the video. I can't believe you actually aim for the head and hit them on the head. Impressive accuracy.

Nice video. For all those who ask, yes, this takes lots of practice. I have shot a few thousand 6mm ball bearings. All started in lockdown whilst walking the dog. I now buy bags of 9mm clay balls. 200 to a bag. I am just starting to hit about 80% of what I aim at, at 20-25 yards.( I like shooting leaves.) The catapult is good fun. I do not shoot to kill anymore, but you get the same whack with the clay balls as you do with a pellet. They really piss off Magpies.

I don’t know much about farming but credit to the owner of these cattle looked immaculate that barn and the way they were being looked after

Is rabbits a nuisance in your country? Are they a season on rabbits or do you shoot them any time of the year. Here in the U S we have a rabbit season. Coyotes have just about wiped small game out where I live. It just seems funny that you shoot rabbits out of your vehicle window. By the way your one helluva shot with a slingshot. How many shots are you typically able to get out of your flat band slingshots? Mine typically give out after around 60-70 shots. That's why I don't go for them anymore but, it looks like you got quite a few in.

Hi Chris could you let me know what will be the best size steal to hunt ducks on partridges with a 1 m thickness band. As I am hunting with a 7mm steal and I am not able to get them down.

Chris can you educate people on cutting of any trees cut at a angle so the water runs off frost wont get in that way a smear of vaseline is also helpful to the tree
