Many will disagree due to snobbery, but the case finish on the Tissot is finished better than a Rolex, and so are the dial and hour markers. I’v had both so regardless of what anyone says, i know i’m correct.
No lol not on a modern real Rolex. The Tissot is not as well finished. Sure compared to a fake or a older model the Tissot wins hands down but not a 2022 milgauss för example which is basically identical case wise to the gentleman.
I have the blue and it is easily one of the most versatile, well designed, value packed watches on the market. I prefer the bracelet, that said it's a major strap-o-holic
I really love my 18k Rose Gold one. I regulate my own watches and this one, oh boy. I don't need to do anything it just goes on and on for about 0-1 Sec/day for the last 6 months. Absolutely great piece.
Great video I bought the blue dial about 8 months ago. I need a beater watch, and this is it. Looks kinda like an omega ripoff to me, but I see the Rolex. Now you mention 🤔 I have put this watch through hell and still looks good to me. I can see all the micro scratches on the polished links but better the Tissot than my Rolex or Omegas. The bracelet really needs work, but all in all, it's a luxury Swatch brand
I’m very pleased with this watch (Gentleman Powermatic 80) which I’ve had for about a month. However, despite wearing it all day, it has stopped overnight three times during that period. Could you explain about the 80-hour power reserve as mine does not always last the 8 hours of not wearing it overnight.
I went to a jeweller yesterday that stock Swiss watches to look at the Gentleman, which I'm going to buy soon, and the saleswoman kept saying how Tissot is entry level and how I must work my way up to Longines. These people are elitist snobs. Tissot is a great brand!
Please! Can you tell me where does it cost 775$?? Im not from the usa. My family's next week is going to usa. Can you please give me an authentic store(in Washington)that the watch cost 775?? Please
I bought it lately. It was -2 seconds every day at the beginning, and now it is 0 or -/+1 second every day. I never saw that my watch stays behind more than 2 seconds. I have experience with other brands and I witnessed -/+ 15 secs.

Eh I have both. Depends on your use. I have the green Gentleman which punches above its weight and works great for an everyday piece that looks great and keeps great time. I honestly forget how relatively inexpensive it is sometimes and im more than pleased with the value. However, my Longines spirit Zulu time with the green bezel/anthracite dial is a stunner that feels special. I consider it good value considering its a true GMT from a Swiss brand but there are diminishing returns. I also had a hydro conquest which was great, but personally didn’t offer the value expected for the price. I think it depends on the model you go for. If you want a regular everyday piece then the gentleman is a better value than lets say the conquest which costs nearly double. But if you’re looking for classic/dress or special pieces like the bigeye/Zulu time etc then Longines is worth the price bump for quality on those icons or complications
I have the blue Gentleman powermatic 80 and want a Conquest as well. First I wanted the blue but have changed my mind and now want the black. I think the Gentleman is fully in quality and finish class as Conquest, despite lower price. Maybe higher quality: isn't powermatic 80 movement superior to the movement used in Conquest? But: the 300m WR with Conquest is awesome and here I think is one reason to the higher price. A stilish dresswatch which at the same time is a true diver watch is great.

What colour strap do you think? I was going to get a dark tan for mine
Picked this up last month and wear it more than my Omega. Incredible watch.

I read somewhere that the blue dial looks a little bit purple in sunlight. Is it true?
Nice watch, great value. The Heft is in the bracelet, dropping that the watch on strap wears great.

Is this the proper non plastic parts movement?
I have the green version and the only thing I don't like about it, are the crosshairs. They aren't on the blue version so, why on the green one?
citizen crystal 7 also has the same pattern
The crosshairs were on the blue one I had, which I returned because the strap wouldn't even fit around my 8.25" wrist.
What's the cross hair?
Beautiful watch, but the strap (faux leather version) couldn't even fit around my 8.25" wrist.
I can’t decide. Green or Ice Blue
Im in the same boat right now, what did you get?
Green
@@amponsahkwame2325 I went with green

Can you say a word about the accuracy. What can I expect? +/- 20 sec/day?? Or less?
I don't actually know for sure but i think I remember hearing +/- 5s on a video

I just bought the blue, wish I got the green but that cross is annoying
The blue doesn’t have cross?!
So the only one with cross is the green ?cuz I don’t like it too and I’m planning on buying one
Longines or Tissot...... such a difficult decision.
Tissot any day. I just don't find Longines worth the price. (I own the green Gentleman so I am a bit biased :P)
