Beautiful Oregon beach trail and beach. Never seen such a thing.
It is very beautiful there for sure
Greetings from Salt Spring Island, B.C., Canada. Wow! Your FIRST loonie. How exciting. I find a lot of loonies and toonies here in Canada. It will be a great day for coin hunters when the US starts minting $1 & $2 coins. Come on up! Almost any hunt willl guarantee enough for a cup cake, or my favourite, a latte'. Thanks for another beautiful beach hunt. AND is it me or is that Ace 400 you gifted me a better model of Garrett than my 400i. It seems way more sensitive. I JUST LOVE IT!
Thanks again you two. Not only did you make me very happy. I also have this very cool story to share when ever I meet inquisitive strangers on the beach. They just love the storey. Thanks again and again.
Thank you very much... I did get my first loonie... quite cool. As for the 400... I am not sure if it is better... If yours was older at may be new and improved. I also do not remember seeing the "i" at the end of the 400? Either way, thrilled we could help you out and you are enjoying it.... happy hunting
Hay bill thanks for the beautiful view and a great video the hope and the wisdom look the same that’s cool I’ll see you on the next hunt be safe
Thanks Rosa...was a fun trip...glad to be back
Owl Wisdom from the Crystal- to help people think positive.
Thanks for sharing Bill, great trip, tons of stuff, and rings and cars. Be careful going home. See ya all on the next time
Thanks Laura.... always drive careful. The longest stretch is hard... have to stop and get out so I don't Zzzzzz
Beautiful scenery, good hunt.
Thank you
Fun OR hunts. Hope you enjoyed being outside there even though the targets were not so bountiful. Like that you found "Happy" and "Wisdom". They look to be of the same set of word tokens. Cheers.
Thanks... very pretty... I can't figure out if they are old... and what they are made of? No luck searching so far?
I hope you had a great time metal-detecting different places. I bet Chrisrine will be very happy to see you back home safe. Happy hunting!
Thanks..... yes, She is already chomping at the bit to go hunting with me....
That is a handful of spots. Got to like the Toy Cars. Christine is going to want the Snow Globe. I just have that gut Feeling. You are the Man with the Most Tent stakes I have seen dug up on RUclips. Safe Travels Bill See You on your next Hunt.
I agree... especially since the globe is of a Christmas dog...lol.. I am the tent stake king....lol.
@@DigginSoCal You are truly a Legend on Tent Stakes.
Great multiple hunt there. Bill! that Oregon coast is beautiful. thanks for taking us along on your trip and sharing all your finds.
I agree.... very beautiful... thanks for watching!!!
Lots of fun to hit new spots! Nice finds SoCal, Be well!
Thanks R Dogg.... Was a fun trip and it is nice to be home....now I can catch up on your videos....love them!!!
Thanks Bill for taking me back to WA state and OR! I miss being on the west coast!
You are welcome....was a fun time.... Be back in June
Hi Bill
It’s beautiful out there oh and great finds as always thanks for sharing
Thank you very much... I really enjoyed this section of the journey.
Cool and pretty walk area.
Thanks for sharing your trip and your finds. When I seen the quarters I thought of Christine and cupcakes 🧁
You are welcome... I have plenty of coins to give her for laundry, chocolate and of corse cupcakes...
Cute Happy w/ Butterfly
Cool hunt! The pin is a neat find. 😃🥰
Thanks...was a fun area to explore and detect
Thank you for another awesome video guys
You are welcome...thanks for watching
Your first find is a post earring with a chain clip for the ear lobe. Hope it's silver. You found a Loonie because of the Loon on it. A two-dollar Canadian is called a Twoonie.
Thanks.... always learning....
I find my best finds on the pathways leading to the beach.
Good to know.... thanks
Alot of wilderness there. From the looks of the woolly worms looks like they will be having a mild winter because there mostly light in color.
Interesting.... you can determine the weather by there color...cool. Thanks
@@DigginSoCal That is the way people determined the weather from the farmers almanac.
Thanks Bill, very nice last out of state hunts. Waiting to see Christine and you hunting any where together again. I think Christine the Car will Beat Bill the Car in an off road race vroom vroom 👍👍🚔
Drag race time...lol... Thanks, was a fun time but glad to be back. We should be out this weekend hunting...maybe even a live
WOW-Snow globe that rare for you to find.
It was sitting in the grass just waiting for me.... like a genie lamp....
Hi Bill , from two different parks you found Happiness and gained some wisdom 😀
So true... hopefully it sticks with me....thanks
like the people at cannon beach, just going for a walk, fully clothed, not going swimming, take a picture with the rock, find a crab shell, then walk off the beach. that's about 99% of the oregon beach goers year round, especially that far north
Interesting... I am sure the water is rather cold most of the time
Skvělé supr vídeo.Good job,už se těším na další nádherné pokoukáníčko díky...
Thank you very much... thrilled you enjoyed it.
Nice hunts Bill....Safe travels back home...😃
Thank you Annette
Bill, it seems like you find a lot more coins in So Cal….slim pickens up there, but the scenery there is very beautiful 👍🏼
I have to agree with you on that
I live an hour from where he was hunting. The OR coast is a totally different beast than the beaches he hunts in CA, for sure.
Beautiful!
Beautiful scenery and trail... Good to hunt with friends. Safe travels home
Thank you Nora.... was a lot of fun but my time in OR was too short.
Great hunt, Bill. Some really beautiful areas along the coast. Happy Hunting.
Thanks...I was amazed at some of the finds PNW has found in that area...lot of old history....
Nice Hunt Bill , Beautiful Beach ! Very pretty country out there , thanks for sharing the fun my friend ! Keep em coming 👍
Thanks... I wish I had more time in Oregon... so pretty along the coast
We get to cannon beach and seaside a couple times each year. I recognized the park in seaside you were detecting at because I told myself next time I bring my detector I’m going to hit that tot lot and see what I can find. I won’t be back there until spring of 2023 so if it gets restocked with treasure I’ll let you guys know. Did you guy’s go through Lincoln city too while traveling the oregon coast?
Yeah... I should be back in June if I don't fly next time.... I did not make it to Lincoln this time....
Wish our parks here where I live were easy pine bark nugget stuff like yours. I would never stop hunting if I had that kind around. Nice finds. I would have tried metal detecting the creek for gold too.
Hum... I need to check with my friends and see if they have evert tried the creeks??? I do like gold...lol
Beautiful beach areas; quite different from California beaches. Good fun!
You can say that again... but not as far as tent stakes, bottle caps and the likes...lol
That stamped penny is from the aquarium in Newport.
that beautiful green is why I will never leave the PNW.
at the first beach wrap up, "hopefully we do much better",, lmao it's not like socal, people dont flock to the beach 365 and hang out for hours in oregon, i would consider that set of finds above average,
Thanks Paul....have to agree....
The lion pin is from maybe Cooking Contest because knives in the pin.Destrong
OK, thanks for the info....
The Black crystal goes to ear and the metal clip on the nose. It is a punk thing.
Well, I don't think I will try it on...lol
nice park
Happy Wisdom
Great hunts Bill! I love Oregon, it is quite beautiful. I lived there for a couple years before moving back home to San Diego!!!
Thanks... I could live there but what would be awesome is to live there during the summer....
1 Canadian dollar, called a Loonie because of the Loon (duck) on the coin
Finally... now I get it...lol. Thanks
Thanks Bill. Always enjoy you and Christine's adventures. If you ever quit your day job, I'm sure you would do well as a Pointer Sister cover band singer! Ps It would be great if you ever wish to try a lower end detector The Bounty Hunter Tracker4. I've always been curious about how you both would rate it. My wife and I have used many different brands including minelab but still can't help but put it to use on the majority of our hunts. We wonder are we just sentimental or is it as great as we believe it to be, and highly value your honest opinions.
I have a BH Pioneer 202 that I have used for the past year & half. Have done pretty well with it (in SF bay area) but feel the limitations of vague target ID and only 3 tones to play with. Hoping for an upgrade to something (hopefully) better that can help me distinguish those targets that I have missed because my P202 didn't give me something identifiable to make me dig *that* one.
@@Heavious Great info....
We have been comprising a list of detectors we want to try... I will add it to that list. We should be doing a review off that list fairly soon.
Mert Curtis I really thoughjt your coin spill was going to be a tent stake
Now a tent stake with coins is a real win....
Thanks
I seen that island in A Goonie movie made in California. They have markers showing where they filmed.
Yes, very famous area that gets thousands of tourists... but they did not leave me much to find this time....
As an Oregonian I’d like to thank you for removing that Canadian trash from my beach😂.
another great video again by my number one favourite RUclipsrs ever
As always, thank you James
YES 🙌 ARRRG
LOL vroom vroom! 🚗
Yeah... I don't do it like C but that is ok...
what beach is that at 10:26 (the only reson i put a time stamp is because i havent watched the whole vid and dunno if your here the whole time or not)
Christie will 😅
Remember Bill it doesn’t matter how fast you are because the tortoise always wins the race
The bug maybe a fire fly?
I saw a Bigfoot in the woods… he was treasure hunting
Scary... probably wanted to take my beaf jerky....lol
Do you have to get local permission at those parks in Oregon? I know you can detect the beach without a permit.
According to my friends... no permit is required in the parks they took me to. I am not sure of any other parks in that area.
I'm so disappointed... No blurred out of focus shots of Big Foot 😡...
Good job 👍, And good company, too 🕊️🕊️
Bill says: "It's a dime! That makes cents!" 😂
I did get the feeling I was being watched...lol. Thanks
Oregon is beautiful I love going up there often, what trail on your first beach is that, like to check it out next time ?
You had to ask me a tough question... I believe it was Oswald West State Park Short Sand Beach north of Manzanita
@@DigginSoCal yeah I'll have to Google that area and see if it looks familiar thank you
.mind if I ask what your settings were for the beach? I just bought a nox and am headed to Oregon in a few weeks any suggestions appreciated
Earring with nose 👃 ring attached
❤😊🍿
We also did away with the $2.00 bill and now have a coin called the toonie
So do you find it easier to carry coins over paper? Interesting....
@@DigginSoCal coins take up a lot of room, where bills can lay flat in wallet
@@DigginSoCal coins are heavy
Arrrg arrrh Mr. Claw
LOL...could not help myself
How do you find parks with no one there?
Good question. I do real well at the crack of dawn. Not many around early or when wet or cold.
😅
Fly rats!
Hi Bill do you have any tent stakes from Washington?
Are you coming to Santa Cruz?
Not on this trip...cut up to the 5 and had to go back thru Sac.... Got back to SoCal already
@@DigginSoCal Ok, thanks. I’ll cover the beaches here then. 😊
that look like some thing the cup cakes princess would do
that were they film the goonies right
Yes... very famous location
WE did away with the dollar bill and now have a loonie or $1.00 coin
Canadians must have holes in their pockets …
Bill, with all that Canadian money, you can buy Christine some Canadian cupcakes....
Hum.... I wonder if that is a thing????
HAY THEY CUPCAKE QUEEN🧁👸 MISSED AS WELL CHRISTINA CASH MONEY🤗!? GLAD BILL FOUND MY MONEY 😂 😋 TAKE CARE ✝️ Ⓜ️ !?
Thanks.... she will be back really soon
@@DigginSoCal 👌👍TAKE CARE ✝️ Ⓜ️ EXCELLENT HUNT'S !?
