      @@Mikenike88 exactly man raw, not polished with over the top editing to make it look more dramatic or exciting. Just letting them do their thing in the gym, lifestyle scenes etc. Like a fly on the wall style. Absolutely awesome. I started training in 2001 and grew watching these DVDs buying them when I could afford them lol good times bro, glad someone else had a similar experience to me👍

    Call me crazy, but this gym physique of Jay's, without posing oil, without being depleted, with simple gym ceiling lights beats the current physiques on stage, and the same goes for Ronnie when he would pose in the gym after training, complete freakish shape and conditioning.

      Man, golds gym was all hardcore back then. It was mostly guys. Majority of women went to LVAC. Golds gym is no longer there. It's a grocery store now. But yeah, those days are long gone.

    That reverse pec deck he was using for rear delt flies is the best one I’ve seen the new peck decks are poorly designed either they don’t go back far enough or the handles are too beefy which all limit a full range of motion

      Beefy is a perfect way to describe the one I have at my gym. Mines alright.... Not the best, does the job, just wish the handles were less beefy and at least had an optional horizontal along with the verticle

      He beat Ronnie in 2006.
      The "quad stomp" was Mr Olympia 2009 where he took his title back from Dexter.

    Notice the lack of crowd…this was before EoS Fitness bought out this location along with rest of Golds in Vegas, undercut the whole industry with dirt cheap prices, allowed anyone to join! Now they cornered the market by being cheaper than they should, leading to gyms overcrowded with ghetto fabulous clowns that wouldn’t be there if not for the price. Car break ins, locker break ins…hell, they even had a guy pull and discharge a gun at the Serene location
