Just saw on TV that Paula will be on Fox (airing now) kicking off “America Cooks Together”. I am SO EXCITED!! Would love to see her collaborate with others like Dominque Ansel - a fantastic French pastry chef who is also bringing us quarantine vids from his home in NYC.
I use to have her first cookbook autographed by her when I went to a Spring Show over in Savannah nineteen yrs ago. Unfortunately, while we had our belongings in a storage, someone broke into it and stole a bunch of our stuff! They stole my whole cookbook collection! Some of which was really old cookbooks that dated very early 1900's! My one Mrs Paula's first autographed cookbook (my prized possession) was gone and I litterly sat down and bawled my eyes out. Losing that cookbook completely broke my heart like I lost her as a family member. I made so many of those recipes that brought so much joy to my family! She not only autographed my book , she hugged me, my son and thanked us for coming to see her! I honestly "fangirled" out and cried when I met her! She is honestly one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet! If I never meet another famous person again , I'm ok with that because my dream came true when I met her ❤😘❤

One request, there is one FULL blast from the past episode that I would love for you to post one day! It's the episode where you made beef short ribs with the bone, and it was made in either a cast iron skillet or Dutch oven! You served it with butter rice! I hope you know that one i'm talking about and you can find it! I've never seen a gravy so beautiful in my LIFE!!

like you said when you cooked recipes with your mom are close to you and feel the spirit around you... i cooked with my grammy since about 4 years old and recipes that my grammy loved to make makes me feel like she is with me thru spirit being she past 3 years ago from lung cancer at 88... i miss her but shes in my heart forever!! stay safe out there paula!
I just want to holler that I love my Paula Deen 2 qt. Pan. It has outlasted other plans and still looks practically new though I use it almost every day.

Yes ma'am..The very very best way to cook Cubed steak or Swiss steak, is to slow-cook it and allow it to simmer in a delicious beefy/tomato gravy. The slow-cooker allowed me to come home to a delicious meal already cooked.
The people that canceled her show, years back were total fools. Who’s perfect life! We all have a sleep with tongue. It’s ashame, this wonderful person was so mistreated. But they can’t keep her down. She’s the best above all others!
I just do things a little different carrots and onion at the beginning 1/2 V8 1/2 water to rinse out the tomatoes can The bell peppers not until the last 20 minutes of cooking. Oh yeah it is yummy!! Might do this soon.

I LOVE Swiss steak. But, I add 1 T of Worcestershire sauce . It adds a nice flavor .
