with christmas coming up, I would love to see some different sides other than traditional ones, All I have to tell my grandkids that it is a Paula Dean recipe and they will almost fight over who is going to get some first, I have raised my 5 grandkis for 14 years and they are teen agers now , Man can they eat, but they all love anything Paula Dean. My youngest is 14 and Like her nana she has a passion for cooking, We have almost all your cook books, we used them everyday for something whether its for a desert or a quick and easy meal for dinner, We specially use them on the holidays. Thanks for putting your videos on youtube we missed you being on tv. God bless your family may God keep you in his arms, love you guys from North Carolina Nana n Hailey
Hey, Paula, thank you so much for doing this youtube channel. I hate to ask for any recipes, since I haven't reviewed all your videos yet, but I'm working on it. If you have an instant pot, I would love to see your favorite "one pot meal" that you do in that. I currently saute chicken bites, onion, carlic, then layer in some spanish rice, turmeric, top layer is diced tomatoes. It comes out tasting like an Indian dish. I'd love more ideas for the one pot meals in that contraption :) I love my slow cooker, too, but sometimes I have to do dinner on shorter notice than 8 hrs, lol
Chickens Don't Surf , That sounds very good. Worth a try! 👍🏻😉😊
@@shirleyperry3170 Zatarrain's spanish rice is the one I use, and once it's out of the pot, amazing. I put sour cream on mine, but then again, I put sour cream on everything. I just had to trust the "layering" requirements of an instant pot meal, otherwise BURN NOTICE. Good luck!
Ribs and kraut make me think of my mom. She used to make the best ribs and kraut and always added a little bit of caraway seed.
Hope you are healing well!!! I love ribs! You have given me so many wonderful dishes to make during this COVID 19 issue! You are a fantastic teacher and chef!!! You can call yourself a chef because your culinary school was the School of Hard Knocks!
My favorite shows were the ones that Michael Groover are in. He and Paula are so funny together.
Michael Groover is his name 😁😚
Oh my gosh...!! They all look so good ..!! I'm gonna save this video, because I know my family and I would love to try these dishes. I laughed when Michael did his little dance too . HAHAHA...!! 😄 Thank you Paula and Michael for sharing all of your wonderful recipes with us. ❤❤
I would love to see how you cook oxtails & if they can be done in the crock-pot. Love the video. Love and best dishes from NJ
Oxtails are awesome in the crockpot. It takes several hours but worth it 😋.
@K j ...from NJ here too! Central part.
Happy Friday Y'all... there's nothing like one pot dishes. I usually do a one pot meal at least once a week. Love me some ribs anyway you cook them😋.That slow berry cobbler looks so delicious. Everything looks so amazing . I wish could get a bite of these delicious meals through my phone lol.Hope all you have a wonderful Friday...stay safe love you all♥️
Good morning Sweetie. Well, actually, it's the afternoon! Great episode, eh? I've gotta try the shrimp Creole.
That absolutely made my mouth water! Being from Alabama, you must have Creole cuisine all the time.?
When I make it, it will be my first time! Can't wait... Have a wonderful day, my friend!
@@heidid5275 just saw this message my wonderful friend..yes I love making the shrimp creole it is so very delicious.I hope you have a wonderful weekend my amazing friend ♥️🤗
Love seeing Michael helping you in the kitchen. Hope you are healing well.
Looking forward to your Thanksgiving meals (I’m in Canada and our Thanksgiving is this weekend) and Christmas meals. Miss you and love you.
So glad I found you on RUclips it's been so long I love your recipes and I enjoy watching you
10/10/20.....We love this make it quite often......we like the Kraut with caraway seeds in it....I always add a little sugar in it also, and have cooked some potatoes on top also and sprinkle some parsley on top of potatoes.....cook potatoes later about half way thru the cooking.....
Hi Paula, your shrimp creole and slow berry cobbler are a family favorite. Please make oatmeal cookies and entree salads. Your southwestern salad is a favorite.
I can't read Michael s cap, if he served, tell him thank so much. If it wasn't for our service men an women we wouldn't live in a freedom loving USA🇺🇸🇺🇸
Another good recipe is with pork chops and sauerkraut. Cook your chops in a fry pan. Take them out of the pan and put the sauerkraut in the pan and warm it up. Add sour cream to the sauerkraut and some dill and green onions. Heat thru and stir it up and then put your chops back in with the sauerkraut. It is so good.
I saw you make a snack with a layer of saltine crackers, then a syrup you made with butter and sugar and then you melted chocolate on top. Pnce it cooled you broke it up into pieces. I have a box of saltines and chocolate chips. Paula, please make that recipe. Thanks! Love your QuaranDeen cooking shows! I've been missing you.
I love my kraut. Cut up some kielbasa or smoke sausage and put it in there. Yummy! Just fix up some beans, cornbread, fried taters, and greens, and you'll have one southern supper. 😊
When my children were young and especially babies, I made a lot of one pot or oven meals. At the end of the day when the youngins was tired, we had supper
I was raised on sauerkraut with potatoes and homemade sausage, czeck heritage. I like to take it to family reunions, first thing that goes. Love your hair today👍. I wish my husband liked slit pea☹️. Will be waiting for your next video

Have you ever made a banana split cake? If so I would love to see you make a video of one. I have a recipe for one that will knock your socks off. 😂 love and best dishes Paula.
Love sauerkraut! I was raised on German sausage, potatoes and sauerkraut, which happened to be cooked at breakfast, lunch or dinner. It was a pretty universal meal.
Good morning! Mmmmm, everything looked so good! Love the Michael "spin"! Lol😂. I always make my kraut with the country style ribs you mentioned. They do have a lil more meat to them. Still waiting on your shrimp n grits?? BTW, Purple is a very nice color on you! 😋🐾🎃💕

I had a pot holder catch fire using an electric stove....reached to get teakettle off of burner and the little finger touched the pot holder and like melted around the finger tip of the potholder.... so now I make sure it's not on the burner and allow room so that the potholder doesn't touch the burner....
Love these ideas. Cant wait to try them ☺
Hi Paula, this format Full Episode Fridays, is great. I am vision impaired so your tutorial style i.e. verbally reciting the recipe is so helpful to people llike myself. This recipe looks delicious (and easy!) Thank you. Blessings to all
Hi Paula! Gosh I love you! I bet you can add in Kielbasa or Polish Sausage to that kraut dish instead of the ribs! I will have to try this! Thank you again and hope you and your family are doing well!

Happy Friday from Smyrna Tn, I live to see your videos everyday. I am somewhat of a picky eater but I watch every video even if its something I wouldn't personally eat. Since it is fall now maybe you could give us some recipes for Thanksgiving side dishes. I LOVE YOU PAULA!

Oh lord I want ribs and kralt now. Oh Mrs Paula you started something!
My favorite spaghetti sauce dinner Aunt Linda
I always think of potatos as a starch part of the meal...not a vegetable. I looked it up and telling yourself things like this Paula, are, sadly, why you are diabetic. www.quora.com/Do-potatoes-count-towards-your-five-vegetables-a-day
I LOVE hot sauce in my split pea soup. Sticky rice and shrimp...isn't that tons of carbs 🤔?
lov ya ms Paula; glad your back online! do you use, SALTED OR UNSALTED BUTTER? which is better for cooking or baking?
/
She NEVER uses unsalted butter.
My mom used to make something like this but she used pork chops.

Pandemic Cooking (You're new title)
I have to be careful with any of the bagged or jar crowds because my son has anaphylactic allergy to the sulfites they use to preserve those items you might want to make sure people know that cuz I'm sure he's not the only one with anaphylactic results from sulfites just thought you'd like to know
Should say kraut
Paula i would love to see your video on yummy southern desserts please
🤗
