Like, if I have to sit in a room full of people who are coughing all day, I'm going to murder them all. There are really no ifs or buts. I would be so fucking done. The noises in this video don't trigger me at all but coughing does. I still have misophonia because we're not all the same.

But funnily enough, when I have a cold and cough, it doesn't really bother me, I think it's because the sound is coming from inside me rather than outside me, because , I've recorded myself singing before and cleared my throat at the end, then forgetting I've played it back and then my own cough has the same effect as someone else coughing!

But I get SO ANGRY if someone eats something crunchy around me. It'll trigger a fight or flight response in me. But it also can go the other way - the sound of someone gulping a drink actually turns me on.

Now my new one is hearing older women talking in a baby higher pitched voice or when they whisper. Jesus Christ! It gets so much worse the older I get. It’s insane and I know it’s my problem and not there’s, but it still doesn’t stop me from wanting to kick the head off of them though.( I never hurt anyone btw, but I run for the hills when I’m triggered, and if I can’t up and leave I cover my ears so to do my best not to hear the sounds. Sighing is annoying as he🔥🔥 to hear through earphones especially, but it's not N word behavior (so, I'll give that one a pass), exaggerated sneezing is unnecessary, talk with food in your mouth is definitely some N word ish, and lip smacking or squelching is N word ish as well. You asked me if only people that don't suffer from it are going to be the ones to watch the video? Well let me ask you this. I have this and it’s getting worse. It’s nothing about chewing loud or making human noises, it’s about the constant roar, too many people talking loudly, commotion. I still have misophonia but I have learned how to manage it. For me it's eating, especially with the people I love. When we have dinner together or go out to eat I just make sure I have some kind of "white noise" to clutter sound, position myself at the opposite end of the table from the people who trigger me the most, and I always have headphones in my pocket to dull my hearing if it gets bad.
I realized that if I ever wanted a social life I would have to adjust and luckily it has improved over time. But ya, it really sucks, especially when you don't know what is happening.
