Ray Kniga-Bartlett I used to have a black lab named Brody, but he wouldn’t wake up from a seizure and we had to put him down 😭. I now have a new golden doodle named OLLIE!! 🐶😃😁
I had lab named buddy 30 years ago. I still remember what a good dog he was!

thank you for being an excellent dog owner who has given love, care and training to your pup. I have 2 labs both from a rescue home when they were 2 y/old, 1 had been abused, and the other was wild. they are now 11 and 9 and they have made my life so much richer. i have had dogs all my life since i crawled as a baby.
i'd also like to point out that although yes, puppies are cute, there are so many unwanted and unloved dogs out there that need homes. and you can change their lives, turn their lives around from being a sad, lonely life to a life full of joy and love. this is the greatest reward i have enjoyed from adopting an unwanted adult dog. changing their lives for the better and receiving so much love and loyalty in return.
so, before you think about getting a cute new puppy from a breeder, think about rescuing an adult dog instead. thank you

Best dog breed in the world as far as I'm concerned. Nothing even comes close.
My 5 month old puppy Bella, whom I just adopted from my local humane society, looks so much like Alfie looked at her age! They say she's a labrador retriever mix, but don't know anything about her parentage. I've ordered one of those Wisdom DNA kits for dogs so I can better prepare her vet to care for her based upon her breed make up. Thanks for sharing Alfie's journey! Our home is so full of love and laughter since Bella joined our family. I can't imagine how I ever got along without her!
I just wanted to say I have a Bella too, that I adopted at about a year old. She too is supposed to be a mix but she looks like any black lab I've seen. She's 12 now and I wanted to say you're going to have the best friend you could imagine in her and your life will be beautified immeasurably by her. I wish her and your family long, happy healthy life and love

I wasnt so lucky,had my Trixie 12 years only and lost her 2 days ago due to brain cancer. My heart is bleeding and mind cannot accept this loss. When I see this happy chap ,he looks and acts the same as my Trixie used to do. Im crying and smiling,what an amazing breed ,Gods gift to people ❤❤❤ Stay healthy and safe xxx
My 17 year old black bocker Lugi looks exactly the same. Miss him a lot. Lost him in the new year.

Labs are the best. They are so full of love and so faithful to their humans. Mine crossed the rainbow bridge 6 years ago and I still miss her very much.😥 This brings back old memories for me thank you. 🥰

Just saw this video and I was happy to see this little pup turn into a fun loving one year old. I know this video is about one year old but I felt I needed to comment about what a sweet little guy he is. Your love for this guy is obvious through the entire video. He has an amazing owner, I love how happy he is, how much love he gets from you. And that it seems that you have trained him with positive reinforcement. I love to train my dogs with positive reinforcement, it makes training for all of us.

What a sweet precious boy!!! Good job on the training! We got a brother and sister beagador puppies a few weeks ago. They are very hard to train. They are not food motivated at all and I’ve tried numerous different treats including fresh food and peanut butter. They are not interested at all. They don’t even have a favorite toy. The little girl sleeps most of the day.
i look after a springador a few times a year and they are the most loving , loyal friendly dogs you could ever meet

What a beautiful dog you have, and so smart as well! You're an excellent trainer! I really love Labs and Lab mixes. I used to have a Yellow Lab mix too. She was 3/4 Lab, and a 1/4 Weimaraner. Her name was Peaches, she's in Heaven now. I subscribed as soon as I finished watching this video. Thank you for sharing Alfie with us all.

I have a two year old springador (labradinger in the US)- he and Alfie are so similar! Not only do they look alike (however ours has some white on his face), but their endless energy and “big ole baby” demeanor are the same. We live in Alaska with lots of snow & I swear Ero would be the best dogsled dog. All he wants to do is run. Ha

My Shiva was the same when she was young, like a literall copy of him. She is all grown now but still so cute
