Beautiful! Our black Labrador 'Poppy" so sadly passed away last September! We now have another 8 month Labrador puppy called 'Mabel'. Labradors are the BEST dogs bringing so much love and laughter. Our first pet as a family was a black lab named Poppy! She was born a week after me to my nan's dogs, (our family has always had labs) she made it to 13 1/2 but as is common with her breed she started getting lumps and bumps so it was kinder to put her down. It's been 6 years but this Christmas we got another black lab, Calypso. They're a lovely breed with such sweet natures.
Today I got a black lab named Molly and me and my mum live with my grandparents who have two dogs already so now we’ve got a three year old, a two year old and a little baby who’s 11 weeks old🥰
I think you have a good puppy on your hands! I don't know when vets started telling people to raise puppies in a crate. I've had them all of my life and from day one, I've never put one in a crate. One thing I will say, from the minute she picked up your shoes, maybe you should say no no softly at first and firmly once she gets to know you. She may be a chewer! especially at first. Good luck with your new baby.
